1. യഹോവയുടെ കൃപകളെക്കുറിച്ചു ഞാന് എന്നേക്കും പാടും; തലമുറതലമുറയോളം എന്റെ വായ് കൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെ അറിയിക്കും.

1. I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever; with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

3. I have made a covenant with my chosen; I have sworn unto David my servant, [saying],

4. Thy seed will I establish for ever and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

5. And the heavens shall praise thy wonder, O LORD, thy truth also in the congregation of the saints.

6. For who in the heavens can be compared unto the LORD? [who] among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?

7. God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints and to be had in reverence of all [those that are] about him.

8. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നിന്നെപ്പോലെ ബലവാന് ആരുള്ളു? യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തത നിന്നെ ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. O LORD God of the hosts, who [is] like unto thee? Strong JAH, compassed about with thy truth.

9. Thou dost rule the raging of the sea: when its waves arise, thou dost still them.

10. Thou hast broken Egypt in pieces as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

11. The heavens [are] thine, the earth also [is] thine: the world and its fullness, thou didst found.

12. Thou hast created the north and the south; Tabor and Hermon shall sing in thy name.

13. നിനക്കു വീര്യമുള്ളോരു ഭുജം ഉണ്ടു; നിന്റെ കൈ ബലമുള്ളതും നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ഉന്നതവും ആകുന്നു.

13. The mighty arm is thine; strong is thy hand, [and] high is thy right hand.

14. നീതിയും ന്യായവും നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാകുന്നു; ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി നടക്കുന്നു.

14. Thy throne is composed of righteousness and judgment; mercy and truth go before thy face.

15. ജയഘോഷം അറിയുന്ന ജനത്തിന്നു ഭാഗ്യം; യഹോവേ, അവര് നിന്റെ മുഖപ്രകാശത്തില് നടക്കും.

15. Happy [are] the people that know [how to] enter into joy; they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

16. അവര് ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കുന്നു. നിന്റെ നീതിയില് അവര് ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

16. In thy name shall they rejoice each day; and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

17. നീ അവരുടെ ബലത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വമാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ പ്രസാദത്താല് ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൊമ്പു ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

17. For thou [art] the glory of their strength, and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

18. നമ്മുടെ പരിച യഹോവേക്കുള്ളതും നമ്മുടെ രാജാവു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന്നുള്ളവന്നും ആകുന്നു.

18. For the LORD [is] our shield, and the Holy One of Israel [is] our king.

19. അന്നു നീ ദര്ശനത്തില് നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു; ഞാന് വീരനായ ഒരുത്തന്നു സഹായം നലകുകയും ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരു വൃതനെ ഉയര്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.

19. Then thou didst speak in vision to thy holy one and didst say, I have laid help upon [one that is] mighty; I have exalted [one] chosen out of my people.

20. I have found David my servant; I anointed him with the oil of my holiness,

21. with whom my hand shall be established; mine arm also shall strengthen him.

22. The enemy shall not overcome him, nor the son of iniquity break him down.

23. ഞാന് അവന്റെ വൈരികളെ അവന്റെ മുമ്പില് തകര്ക്കും; അവനെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ സംഹരിക്കും,

23. But I will break down his foes before his face and smite those that hate him.

24. എന്നാല് എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയും ദയയും അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; എന്റെ നാമത്തില് അവന്റെ കൊമ്പു ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കും.

24. But my truth and my mercy [shall be] with him, and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

25. അവന്റെ കയ്യെ ഞാന് സമുദ്രത്തിന്മേലും അവന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യെ നദികളുടെമേലും നീട്ടുമാറാക്കും.

25. In the same manner I will set his hand also in the sea and his right hand in the rivers.

26. He shall call me, Thou [art] my father, my God, and the rock of my saving health.

27. Also I will make him [my] firstborn, high above the kings of the earth.

28. I will keep my mercy for him for ever, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

29. ഞാന് അവന്റെ സന്തതിയെ ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ ആകാശമുള്ള കാലത്തോളവും നിലനിര്ത്തും.

29. I will also make his seed [to endure] for ever, and his throne as the days of the heavens.

30. അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കാതിരിക്കയും

30. If his sons forsake my law and do not walk in my judgments,

31. എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ലംഘിക്കയും എന്റെ കല്പനകളെ പ്രമാണിക്കാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്

31. if they profane my statutes and do not keep my commandments,

32. ഞാന് അവരുടെ ലംഘനത്തെ വടികൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ അകൃത്യത്തെ ദണ്ഡനംകൊണ്ടും സന്ദര്ശിക്കും.

32. then I will visit their rebellion with the rod and their iniquity with stripes.

33. എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ദയയെ ഞാന് അവങ്കല് നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളകയില്ല; എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതെക്കു ഭംഗം വരുത്തുകയുമില്ല.

33. Nevertheless I will not take my mercy from him, neither will I falsify my truth.

34. ഞാന് എന്റെ നിയമത്തെ ലംഘിക്കയോ എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതിന്നു ഭേദം വരുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല.

34. I will not profane my covenant, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

35. ഞാന് ഒരിക്കല് എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധിയെക്കൊണ്ടു സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിനോടു ഞാന് ഭോഷകു പറകയില്ല.

35. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

36. അവന്റെ സന്തതി ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനം എന്റെ മുമ്പില് സൂര്യനെപ്പോലെയും ഇരിക്കും.

36. His seed shall endure for ever and his throne as the sun before me.

38. But thou hast cast off and abhorred thine anointed; thou hast been wroth with [him].

39. നിന്റെ ദാസനോടുള്ള നിയമത്തെ നീ വെറുത്തുകളഞ്ഞു; അവന്റെ കിരീടത്തെ നീ നിലത്തിട്ടു അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

39. Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant; thou hast profaned his crown [by casting it] to the ground.

40. നീ അവന്റെ വേലി ഒക്കെയും പൊളിച്ചു; അവന്റെ കോട്ടകളെയും ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

40. Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.

41. വഴിപോകുന്ന എല്ലാവരും അവനെ കൊള്ളയിടുന്നു; തന്റെ അയല്ക്കാര്ക്കും അവന് നിന്ദ ആയിത്തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

41. All that pass by the way spoil him; he is a reproach to his neighbours.

42. നീ അവന്റെ വൈരികളുടെ വലങ്കയ്യെ ഉയര്ത്തി; അവന്റെ സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും സന്തോഷിപ്പിച്ചു.

42. Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.

43. അവന്റെ വാളിന് വായ്ത്തലയെ നീ മടക്കി; യുദ്ധത്തില് അവനെ നിലക്കുമാറാക്കിയതുമില്ല.

43. Thou hast also blunted the edge of his sword and hast not made him to stand in the battle.

44. അവന്റെ തേജസ്സിനെ നീ ഇല്ലാതാക്കി; അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു.

44. Thou hast made his clarity to cease and cast his throne down to the ground.

45. അവന്റെ യൌവനകാലത്തെ നീ ചുരുക്കി; നീ അവനെ ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടു മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സേലാ.

45. The days of his youth hast thou shortened; thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.

46. യഹോവേ, നീ നിത്യം മറഞ്ഞുകളയുന്നതും നിന്റെ ക്രോധം തീപോലെ ജ്വലിക്കുന്നതും എത്രത്തോളം?

46. How long, O LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?

47. എന്റെ ആയുസ്സു എത്രചുരുക്കം എന്നു ഔര്ക്കേണമേ; എന്തു മിത്ഥ്യാത്വത്തിന്നായി നീ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു?

47. Remember how short my time is; why hast thou made all men [subject] to vanity?

48. ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു മരണം കാണാതെയിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ആര്? തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പാതാളത്തിന്റെ കയ്യില് നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കുന്നവനും ആരുള്ളു? സേലാ.

48. What man [is he that] lives and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of Sheol? Selah.

49. കര്ത്താവേ, നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയില് നി ദാവീദിനോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത നിന്റെ പണ്ടത്തെ കൃപകള് എവിടെ?

49. Lord, where [are] thy former mercies, [which] thou didst sware unto David in thy truth?

50. കര്ത്താവേ, അടിയങ്ങളുടെ നിന്ദ ഔര്ക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ മാര്വ്വിടത്തില് ഞാന് സകലമഹാജാതികളുടെയും നിന്ദ വഹിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ.

50. Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; [how] I do bear in my bosom [the reproach of] many peoples,
