1. യഹോവ യാക്കോബിനോടു മനസ്സലിഞ്ഞു യിസ്രായേലിനെ വീണ്ടും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു സ്വദേശത്തു അവരെ പാര്പ്പിക്കും; അന്യജാതിക്കാരും അവരോടു യോജിച്ചു യാക്കോബ് ഗൃഹത്തോടു ചേര്ന്നുകൊള്ളും.

1. And the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and they shall rest on their land; and the stranger shall be added to them; yes, they shall be added to the house of Jacob.

2. ജാതികള് അവരെ കൂട്ടി അവരുടെ സ്ഥലത്തേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരും; യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹം അവരെ യഹോവയുടെ ദേശത്തു ദാസന്മാരായും ദാസിമാരായും അടക്കിക്കൊള്ളും; തങ്ങളെ ബദ്ധന്മാരാക്കിയവരെ അവര് ബദ്ധന്മാരാക്കുകയും തങ്ങളെ പീഡിപ്പിച്ചവരെ വാഴുകയും ചെയ്യും.

2. And the Gentiles shall take them, and bring them into their place; and they shall inherit them, and they shall be multiplied upon the land for servants and handmaidens; and they that took them captives shall become captives [to them]; and they that had lordship over them shall be under [their] rule.

3. യഹോവ നിന്റെ വ്യസനവും നിന്റെ കഷ്ടതയും നീ ചെയ്യണ്ടിവന്ന നിന്റെ കഠിനദാസ്യവും നീക്കി നിനക്കു വിശ്രാമം നലകുന്ന നാളില്

3. And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the Lord shall give you rest from your sorrow and vexation, [and from] your hard servitude in which you served them.

4. നീ ബാബേല്രാജാവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഈ പാട്ടു ചൊല്ലുംപീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നവന് എങ്ങനെ ഇല്ലാതെയായി! സ്വര്ണ്ണനഗരം എങ്ങനെ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോയി!

4. And you shall take up this lamentation against the king of Babylon, How has the extortioner ceased, and the taskmaster ceased!

5. യഹോവ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ വടിയും വാഴുന്നവരുടെ ചെങ്കോലും ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

5. The Lord has broken the yoke of sinners, [and] the yoke of princes.

6. വംശങ്ങളെ ഇടവിടാതെ ക്രോധത്തോടെ അടിക്കയും ആര്ക്കും അടത്തുകൂടാത്ത ഉപദ്രവത്താല് ജാതികളെ കോപത്തോടെ ഭരിക്കയും ചെയ്തവനെ തന്നേ.

6. Having smitten a nation in wrath with an incurable plague, smiting a nation with a wrathful plague, which spared [them] not, he rested in quiet.

7. സര്വ്വഭൂമിയും വിശ്രമിച്ചു സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് ആര്ത്തു പാടുന്നു.

7. All the earth cries aloud with joy;

8. സരളവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുക്കളും നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സന്തോഷിച്ചുനീ വീണുകിടന്നതുമുതല് ഒരു വെട്ടുകാരനും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ കയറിവരുന്നില്ല എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

8. the trees of Lebanon also rejoice against you, and the cedars of Lebanon, [saying], From the time that you have been laid low, no one has come up to cut us down.

9. നിന്റെ വരവിങ്കല് നിന്നെ എതിരേല്പാന് താഴേ പാതാളം നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം ഇളകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി സകലഭൂപാലന്മാരുമായ പ്രേതന്മാരെ ഉണര്ത്തുകയും ജാതികളുടെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരെയും സിംഹാസനങ്ങളില്നിന്നു എഴുന്നേല്പിക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

9. Hell from beneath is provoked to meet you; all the great ones that have ruled over the earth have risen up together against you, they that have raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

10. അവരൊക്കെയും നിന്നോടുനീയും ഞങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ബലഹീനനായോ? നീയും ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു തുല്യനായ്തീര്ന്നുവോ? എന്നു പറയും.

10. All shall answer and say to you, You also have been taken, even as we; and you are numbered amongst us.

11. നിന്റെ ആഡംബരവും വാദ്യഘോഷവും പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയി; നിന്റെ കീഴെ പുഴുക്കളെ വിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; കൃമികള് നിനക്കു പുതെപ്പായിരിക്കുന്നു.

11. Your glory has come down to Hades, and your great mirth; under you they shall spread corruption, and the worm shall be your covering.

12. അരുണോദയപുത്രനായ ശുക്രാ, നീ എങ്ങനെ ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു വീണു! ജാതികളെ താഴ്ത്തിക്കളഞ്ഞവനേ, നീ എങ്ങനെ വെട്ടേറ്റു നിലത്തു വീണു!

12. How has Lucifer, that rose of the morning, fallen from heaven! He that sent [orders] to all the nations is crushed to the earth.

13. “ഞാന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് കയറും; എന്റെ സിംഹാസനം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങള്ക്കു മീതെ വേക്കും; ഉത്തരദിക്കിന്റെ അതൃത്തിയില് സമാഗമപര്വ്വതത്തിന്മേല് ഞാന് ഇരുന്നരുളും;

13. But you have said in your heart, I will go up to heaven, I will set my throne above the stars of heaven; I will sit on a lofty mount, on the lofty mountains toward the north;

14. ഞാന് മേഘോന്നതങ്ങള്ക്കു മീതെ കയറും; ഞാന് അത്യുന്നതനോടു സമനാകും” എന്നല്ലോ നീ ഹൃദയത്തില് പറഞ്ഞതു.

14. I will go up above the clouds; I will be like the Most High.

15. എന്നാല് നീ പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു, നാശകൂപത്തിന്റെ അടിയിലേക്കു തന്നേ വീഴും.

15. But now you shall go down to hell, even to the foundations of the earth!

16. നിന്നെ കാണുന്നവര് നിന്നെ ഉറ്റുനോക്കിഭൂമിയെ നടുക്കുകയും രാജ്യങ്ങളെ കുലുക്കുകയും

16. They that see you shall marvel at you, and say, This is the man that troubled the earth, that made kings to shake;

17. ഭൂതലത്തെ മരുഭൂമിപോലെ ആക്കുകയും അതിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളകയും തന്റെ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു അഴിച്ചുവിടാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തവന് ഇവനല്ലയോ എന്നു നിരൂപിക്കും.

17. that made the whole world desolate, and destroyed its cities; he loosed not those who were in captivity.

18. ജാതികളുടെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ താന്താന്റെ ഭവനത്തില് മഹത്വത്തോടെ കിടന്നുറങ്ങുന്നു.

18. All the kings of the nations lie in honor, [every] man in his house.

19. നിന്നെയോ നിന്ദ്യമായോരു ചുള്ളിയെപ്പോലെയും വാള്കൊണ്ടു കുത്തേറ്റു മരിച്ചു കുഴിയിലെ കല്ലുകളോളം ഇറങ്ങിയവരെക്കൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവനായി ചവിട്ടിമെതിച്ച ശവംപോലെയും നിന്റെ കല്ലറയില്നിന്നു എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. But you shall be cast forth on the mountains, as a loathsome carcass, with many dead who have been pierced with swords, going down to the grave.

20. നീ നിന്റെ ദേശത്തെ നശിപ്പിച്ചു, നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു അവരെപ്പോലെ ശവസംസ്കാരം ഉണ്ടാകയില്ല; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ സന്തതിയുടെ പേര് എന്നും നിലനില്ക്കയില്ല.

20. As a garment defiled with blood shall not be pure, so neither shall you be pure; because you have destroyed My land, and have slain My people; you shall not endure forever; [you] [are] an evil seed.

21. അവന്റെ മക്കള് എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ ഉപരിഭാഗത്തെ പട്ടണങ്ങള്കൊണ്ടു നിറെക്കയും ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവര്ക്കും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം ഒരു കുലനിലം ഒരുക്കിക്കൊള്വിന് .

21. Prepare your children to be slain for the sins of their father; that they arise not, and inherit the earth, nor fill the earth with wars.

22. ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും വിരോധമായി എഴുന്നേലക്കും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; ബാബേലില്നിന്നു പേരിനെയും ശേഷിപ്പിനെയും പുത്രനെയും പൌത്രനെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

22. And I will rise up against them, says the Lord of hosts, and I will destroy their name, and remnant, and seed; thus says the Lord.

23. ഞാന് അതിനെ മുള്ളന് പന്നിയുടെ അവകാശവും നീര്പ്പൊയ്കകളും ആക്കും; ഞാന് അതിനെ നാശത്തിന്റെ ചൂലുകൊണ്ടു തൂത്തുവാരും എന്നും സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

23. And I will make the region of Babylon a desert, so that hedgehogs shall dwell [there], and it shall come to nothing; and I will make it a pit of clay for destruction.

24. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ആണയിട്ടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതുഞാന് വിചാരിച്ചതുപോലെ സംഭവിക്കും; ഞാന് നിര്ണ്ണയിച്ചതുപോലെ നിവൃത്തിയാകും.

24. Thus says the Lord of hosts, As I have said, so it shall be; and as I have purposed, so [the matter] shall remain;

25. എന്റെ ദേശത്തുവെച്ചു ഞാന് അശ്ശൂരിനെ തകര്ക്കും; എന്റെ പര്വ്വതങ്ങളില്വെച്ചു അവനെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളയും; അങ്ങനെ അവന്റെ നുകം അവരുടെമേല് നിന്നു നീങ്ങും; അവന്റെ ചുമടു അവരുടെ തോളില്നിന്നു മാറിപ്പോകും.

25. [even] to destroy the Assyrians upon My land, and upon My mountains; and they shall be for trampling; and their yoke shall be taken away from them, and their glory shall be taken away from their shoulders.

26. സര്വ്വഭൂമിയെയും കുറിച്ചു നിര്ണ്ണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നിര്ണ്ണയം ഇതാകുന്നു; സകലജാതികളുടെയും മേല് നീട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്ന കൈ ഇതു തന്നേ.

26. This is the purpose which the Lord has purposed upon the whole earth; and this the hand that is uplifted against all the nations.

27. സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ നിര്ണ്ണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു ദുര്ബ്ബലമാക്കുന്നവനാര്? അവന്റെ കൈ നീട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അതു മടക്കുന്നവനാര്?

27. For what the Holy God has purposed, who shall frustrate? And who shall turn back His uplifted hand?

28. ആഹാസ്രാജാവു മരിച്ച ആണ്ടില് ഈ പ്രവാചകം ഉണ്ടായി

28. In the year in which King Ahaz died, this word came:

29. സകലഫെലിസ്ത്യ ദേശവുമായുള്ളോവേ, നിന്നെ അടിച്ചവന്റെ വടി ഒടിഞ്ഞിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീ സന്തോഷിക്കേണ്ടാ; സര്പ്പത്തിന്റെ വേരില്നിന്നു ഒരു അണലി പുറപ്പെടും; അതിന്റെ ഫലം, പറക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിസര്പ്പമായിരിക്കും.

29. Rejoice not, all you Philistines, because the yoke of him that struck you is broken; for out of the seed of the serpent shall come forth the young asps, and their young shall come forth [as] flying serpents,

30. എളിയവരുടെ ആദ്യജാതന്മാര് മേയും; ദരിദ്രന്മാര് നിര്ഭയമായി കിടക്കും; എന്നാല് നിന്റെ വേരിനെ ഞാന് ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടു മരിക്കുമാറാക്കും; നിന്റെ ശേഷിപ്പിനെ അവന് കൊല്ലും.

30. and the poor shall be fed by him, and poor men shall rest in peace; but he shall destroy your seed with hunger, and shall destroy your remnant.

31. വാതിലേ, അലറുക; പട്ടണമേ നിലവിളിക്ക; സകല ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശവുമായുള്ളോവേ, നീ അലിഞ്ഞുപോയി; വടക്കുനിന്നു ഒരു പുകവരുന്നു; അവന്റെ ഗണങ്ങളില് ഉഴന്നുനടക്കുന്ന ഒരുത്തനും ഇല്ല. 32 ജാതികളുടെ ദൂതന്മാര്ക്കും കിട്ടുന്ന മറുപടിയോയഹോവ സീയോനെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടെ അവന്റെ ജനത്തിലെ അരിഷ്ടന്മാര് ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കും എന്നത്രേ.

31. Howl, you gates of cities; let the cities be troubled and cry, [even] all the Philistines; for smoke is coming from the north, and there is no [possibility] of living.
