1. അന്നാളില് അവര് യെഹൂദാദേശത്തു ഈ പാട്ടു പാടുംനമുക്കു ബലമുള്ളോരു പട്ടണം ഉണ്ടു; അവന് രക്ഷയെ മതിലുകളും കൊത്തളങ്ങളും ആക്കിവെക്കുന്നു.

1. In that day they shall sing this song in the land of Judah; Behold a strong city; and He shall make salvation [its] wall and bulwark.

2. വിശ്വസ്തത കാണിക്കുന്ന നീതിയുള്ള ജാതി പ്രവേശിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വാതിലുകളെ തുറപ്പിന് .

2. Open the gates, let the nation enter that keeps righteousness, and keeps truth,

3. supporting truth, and keeping peace; for on You, O Lord,

4. യഹോവയാം യാഹില് ശാശ്വതമായോരു പാറ ഉള്ളതിനാല് യഹോവയില് എന്നേക്കും ആശ്രയിപ്പിന് .

4. they have trusted with confidence forever, the great, eternal God;

5. അവന് ഉയരത്തില് പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരെ ഉന്നതനഗരത്തെതന്നേ താഴ്ത്തി തള്ളിയിട്ടു നിലംപരിചാക്കി പൊടിയില് ഇട്ടു കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. who has humbled and brought down them that dwell on high; You shall cast down strong cities, and bring them to the ground.

6. കാല് അതിനെ ചവിട്ടിക്കളയും; എളിയവരുടെ കാലുകളും ദരിദ്രന്മാരുടെ കാലടികളും തന്നേ.

6. And the feet of the meek and lowly shall trample them.

7. നീതിമാന്റെ വഴി ചൊവ്വുള്ളതാകുന്നു; നീ നീതിമാന്റെ പാതയെ ചൊവ്വായി നിരത്തുന്നു.

7. The way of the godly is made straight; the way of the godly is also prepared.

8. അതേ, യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികളുടെ പാതയില് ഞങ്ങള് നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നായിട്ടും നിന്റെ സ്മരണക്കായിട്ടും ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളം വാഞ്ഛിക്കുന്നു.

8. For the way of the Lord is judgment; we have hoped in Your name, and on the remembrance [of You],

9. എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് രാത്രിയില് നിന്നെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു ഉള്ളില് എന്റെ ആത്മാവുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ ഞാന് ജാഗ്രതയോടെ നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കും; നിന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള് ഭൂമിയില് നടക്കുമ്പോള് ഭൂവാസികള് നീതിയെ പഠിക്കും.

9. which our soul longs for; my spirit seeks You very early in the morning, O God, for Your commandments are a light on the earth; learn righteousness, you that dwell upon the earth.

10. ദുഷ്ടന്നു കൃപ കാണിച്ചാലും അവന് നീതി പഠിക്കയില്ല; നേരുള്ള ദേശത്തു അവന് അന്യായം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കും; യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വം അവന് കാണുകയുമില്ല.

10. For the ungodly one is put down; no one who will not learn righteousness on the earth, shall be able to do the truth; let the ungodly be taken away, that he may not see the glory of the Lord.

11. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ കൈ ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരോ കാണുന്നില്ല; എങ്കിലും ജനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള നിന്റെ തീക്ഷണത അവര് കണ്ടു ലജ്ജിക്കും; നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീ അവരെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.

11. O Lord, Your arm is exalted, yet they knew it not; but when they know they shall be ashamed; jealously shall seize upon an untaught nation, and now fire shall devour the adversaries.

12. O Lord our God, give us peace, for You have rendered to us all things.

13. ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, നീയല്ലാതെ വേറെ കര്ത്താക്കന്മാര് ഞങ്ങളുടെമേല് കര്ത്തൃത്വം നടത്തീട്ടുണ്ടു; എന്നാല് നിന്നെ മാത്രം, നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ തന്നേ, ഞങ്ങള് സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നു.

13. O Lord our God, take possession of us; O Lord, we know not [any] other beside You; we name Your name.

14. But the dead shall not see life, neither shall physicians by any means raise [them] up; therefore You have brought [wrath] upon [them], and slain [them], and have taken away every male of them. Bring more evils upon them, O Lord;

15. നീ ജനത്തെ വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; യഹോവേ, ജനത്തെ നീ വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു; നീ മഹത്വപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ദേശത്തിന്റെ അതിരുകളെയെല്ലാം നീ വിസ്താരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

15. bring more evils on the glorious ones of the earth.

16. യഹോവേ, കഷ്ടതയില് അവര് നിന്നെ നോക്കുകയും നിന്റെ ശിക്ഷ അവര്ക്കും തട്ടിയപ്പോള് ജപംകഴിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

16. Lord, in affliction I remembered You; Your chastening was to us with small affliction.

17. യഹോവേ, പ്രസവം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഗര്ഭണി നോവുകിട്ടി തന്റെ വേദനയില് നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞങ്ങള് നിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ആയിരുന്നു.

17. And as a woman in labor draws near to be delivered, [and] cries out in her pain; so have we been to Your beloved.

18. ഞങ്ങള് ഗര്ഭം ധരിച്ചു നോവുകിട്ടി പ്രസവിച്ചാറെ, കാറ്റിനെ പ്രസവിച്ചതുപോലെ ഇരുന്നു; ദേശത്തു ഒരു രക്ഷയും ഞങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; ഭൂവാസികള് പിറന്നുവീണതുമില്ല.

18. We have conceived, O Lord, because of Your fear, and have been in pain, and have brought forth the breath of Your salvation, which we have wrought upon the earth; we shall not fall, but all that dwell upon the land shall fall.

19. നിന്റെ മൃതന്മാര് ജീവിക്കും; എന്റെ ശവങ്ങള് എഴുന്നേലക്കും; പൊടിയില് കിടക്കുന്നവരേ, ഉണര്ന്നു ഘോഷിപ്പിന് ; നിന്റെ മഞ്ഞു പ്രഭാതത്തിലെ മഞ്ഞുപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമി പ്രേതന്മാരെ പ്രസവിക്കുമല്ലോ.

19. The dead shall rise, and they that are in the tombs shall be raised, and they that are in the earth shall rejoice; for the dew from You is healing to them; but the land of the ungodly shall perish.

20. എന്റെ ജനമേ, വന്നു നിന്റെ അറകളില് കടന്നു വാതിലുകളെ അടെക്ക; ക്രോധം കടന്നുപോകുവോളം അല്പനേരത്തേക്കു ഒളിച്ചിരിക്ക.

20. Go, my people, enter into your closets, shut your door, hide yourself for a little season, until the anger of the Lord has passed away.

21. യഹോവ ഭൂവാസികളെ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം സന്ദര്ശിപ്പാന് തന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു ഇതാ, വരുന്നു. ഭൂമി താന് കുടിച്ച രക്തം ഒക്കെയും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും; തന്നിലുള്ള ഹതന്മാരെ ഇനി മൂടിവെക്കയുമില്ല.

21. For behold, the Lord is bringing wrath from [His] holy place on those that dwell upon the earth; the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall not cover her slain.
