1. ബാബേല്രാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ് നേസര് യെഹോയാക്കീമിന്റെ മകനായി യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഖൊന്യാവെയും യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും ശില്പികളെയും കൊല്ലന്മാരെയും പിടിച്ചു യെരൂശലേമില്നിന്നു ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയ ശേഷം, യഹോവ എന്നെ രണ്ടു കൊട്ട അത്തിപ്പഴം യഹോവയുടെ മന്ദിരത്തിന് മുമ്പില് വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു കാണിച്ചു.
യോഹന്നാൻ 10:8

1. Alas for the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture Declareth Yahweh.

2. ഒരു കൊട്ടയില് തലപ്പഴം പോലെ എത്രയും നല്ല അത്തിപ്പഴവും മറ്റെ കൊട്ടയില് എത്രയും ആകാത്തതും തിന്മാന് പാടില്ലാതവണ്ണം ചീത്തയും ആയ അത്തിപ്പഴവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
യോഹന്നാൻ 10:8

2. Therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh God of Israel, Concerning the shepherds who are tending my people, Ye have scattered my flock and have driven them away, and Nave not visited them, Behold me! visiting upon you the wickedness of your doings Declareth Yahweh.

3. യഹോവ എന്നോടുയിരെമ്യാവേ, നീ എന്തു കാണുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു; അതിന്നു ഞാന് അത്തിപ്പഴം; നല്ല അത്തിപ്പഴം എത്രയോ നല്ലതും ആകാത്തതോ എത്രയും ആകാത്തതും തിന്നുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ചീത്തയും ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

3. myself, therefore will gather the remnant of my flock, out of all the lands whither I have driven them, And will bring them back unto their own fold, And they shall be fruitful and multiply;

4. അപ്പോള് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

4. And I will raise up over them shepherds who will tend them, So shall they not be afraid any more, nor be dismayed nor be missing, Declareth Yahweh.

5. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു കല്ദയരുടെ ദേശത്തേക്കു നന്മെക്കായി അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന യെഹൂദാബദ്ധന്മാരെ ഈ നല്ല അത്തിപ്പഴംപോലെ ഞാന് വിചാരിക്കും.

5. Lo! days are coming, Declareth Yahweh, when I will raise up to David A righteous Bud, And he shall reign as king, and prosper, And shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.

6. ഞാന് എന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി നന്മെക്കായി അവരുടെ മേല്വെച്ചു അവരെ ഈ ദേശത്തേക്കു വീണ്ടും കൊണ്ടുവരും; ഞാന് അവരെ പണിയും, പൊളിച്ചുകളകയില്ല; അവരെ നടും, പറിച്ചുകളകയുമില്ല.

6. In his days, Shall Judah be saved, And Israeli abide securely, And, this, is his name whereby he shall be called Yahweh, our Righteousness.

7. ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു എന്നെ അറിവാന് തക്കഹൃദയം ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കും; അവര് എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ദൈവമായുമിരിക്കും; അവര് പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയത്തോടെ എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിയും.

7. Therefore, lo! days are coming, Declareth Yahweh, When it shall not be said any more As Yahweh liveth, who brought up the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

8. എന്നാല് യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവെയും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെയും ഈ ദേശത്തു ശേഷിച്ച യെരൂശലേമിലെ ശേഷിപ്പിനെയും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരെയും ഞാന് , ആകാത്തതും തിന്നുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ചീത്തയുമായ അത്തിപ്പഴംപോലെ ത്യജിച്ചുകളയും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

8. but As Yahweh liveth who hath brought up and who hath brought in the seed of the house of Israel out of the land of the North, and out of all the lands whither I have driven them, And they shall remain upon their own soil.

9. ഞാന് അവരെ ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജ്യങ്ങള്ക്കും ഭീതിയും അനര്ത്ഥവും ഞാന് അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളവാനിരിക്കുന്ന സകലസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും നിന്ദയും പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലും പരിഹാസവും ശാപവാക്യവും ആക്കിത്തീര്ക്കും.

9. As for the prophets, Broken is my heart within me Trembled have all my bones, I have become as a drunken man, And as a strong man whom wine hath overcome, Because of Yahweh, And because of his holy words.

10. ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തുനിന്നു അവര് നശിച്ചുപോകുംവരെ ഞാന് അവരുടെ ഇടയില് വാളും ക്ഷാമവും മഹാമാരിയും അയക്കും.

10. For with adulterers, is the land filled, Yea because of cursing, cloth the land mourn, Dried up are the oases of the desert, And, their oppression hath become wicked, And, their might is not right.
