1. നീയോ, മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേല്പര്വ്വതങ്ങളോടു പ്രവചിച്ചുപറയേണ്ടതുയിസ്രായേല്പര്വ്വതങ്ങളേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേള്പ്പിന് !

1. And thou, son of man, prophesy unto mountains of Israel, and thou hast said, O mountains of Israel, hear a word of Jehovah.

2. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുശത്രു നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചുനന്നായി; പുരാതനഗിരികള് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു കൈവശം ആയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

2. Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy said against you, Aha, and the high places of old for a possession have been to us,

3. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ പ്രവചിച്ചുപറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് ജാതികളില് ശേഷിച്ചവര്ക്കുംു കൈവശമായിത്തീരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവര് നിങ്ങളെ ശൂന്യമാക്കി നിങ്ങളെ ചുറ്റും നിന്നു കപ്പിക്കളയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങള് വായാളികളുടെ അധരങ്ങളില് അകപ്പെട്ടു ലോകരുടെ അപവാദവിഷയമായിത്തീര്ന്നിരിക്കകൊണ്ടും യിസ്രായേല്പര്വ്വതങ്ങളേ,

3. therefore, prophesy, and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because, even because, of desolating, And of swallowing you up from round about, For your being a possession to the remnant of the nations, And ye are taken up on the tip of the tongue, And [are] an evil report of the people.

4. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ വചനം കേള്പ്പിന് ! മലകളോടും കുന്നുകളോടും തോടുകളോടും താഴ്വരകളോടും പാഴായിരിക്കുന്ന ശൂന്യപ്രദേശങ്ങളോടും നിര്ജ്ജനവും ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാതികളില് ശേഷിച്ചവര്ക്കും കവര്ച്ചയും പരിഹാസവും ആയി ഭവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളോടും യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു

4. Therefore, O mountains of Israel, Hear a word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus said the Lord Jehovah, to mountains, and to hills, To streams, and to valleys, And to wastes that [are] desolate, And to cities that are forsaken, That have been for a prey, And for a scorn, to the remnant of the nations who [are] round about.

5. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുജാതികളില് ശേഷിച്ചവരോടും എല്ലാ ഏദോമിനോടും ഞാന് നിശ്ചയമായി എന്റെ തീക്ഷണതാഗ്നിയോടെ സംസാരിക്കും; അവര് എന്റെ ദേശത്തെ കവര്ച്ചക്കായി തള്ളിക്കളവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അതിനെ പൂര്ണ്ണഹൃദയസന്തോഷത്തോടും നിന്ദാഭാവത്തോടും കൂടെ തങ്ങള്ക്കു അവകാശമായി നിയമിച്ചുവല്ലോ.

5. Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Have I not, in the fire of My jealousy, Spoken against the remnant of the nations, And against Edom -- all of it, Who gave My land to themselves for a possession, With the joy of the whole heart -- with despite of soul, For the sake of casting it out for a prey?

6. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ യിസ്രായേല് ദേശത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു മലകളോടും കുന്നുകളോടും തോടുകളോടും താഴ്വരകളോടും പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് ജാതികളുടെ നിന്ദയെ വഹിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് എന്റെ തീക്ഷണതയോടും എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തോടും കൂടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.

6. Therefore, prophesy concerning the ground of Israel, And thou hast said to mountains, and to hills, To streams, and to valleys, Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I, in My jealousy, and in My fury, I have spoken, Because the shame of nations ye have borne.

7. അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാതികള് നിശ്ചയമായി തങ്ങളുടെ ലജ്ജ വഹിക്കും എന്നു ഞാന് കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

7. Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: I -- I have lifted up My hand, Do not -- the nations who [are] with you from round about -- they their own shame bear?

8. നിങ്ങളോ, യിസ്രായേല്പര്വ്വതങ്ങളേ, എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേല് വരുവാന് അടുത്തിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു കൊമ്പുകളെ നീട്ടി അവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി ഫലം കായ്പിന് .

8. And ye, O mountains of Israel, Your branch ye give out, and your fruits ye bear for My people Israel, For they have drawn near to come.

9. ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അനുകൂലമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിയും; നിങ്ങളില് കൃഷിയും വിതയും നടക്കും.

9. For, lo, I [am] for you, and have turned to you, And ye have been tilled and sown.

10. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളില് മനുഷ്യരെ, യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹം മുഴുവനെയും തന്നേ, വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും; പട്ടണങ്ങളില് നിവാസികള് ഉണ്ടാകും; ശൂന്യപ്രദേശങ്ങളെയും പണിയും.

10. And I have multiplied on you men, All the house of Israel -- all of it, And the cities have been inhabited, And the wastes are built.

11. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളില് മനുഷ്യരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളെയും വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും; അവര് പെരുകി സന്താനപുഷ്ടിയുള്ളവരാകും; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളില് പണ്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ ആളെ പാര്പ്പിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ആദികാലത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്നതിനെക്കാള് അധികം നന്മ ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ചെയ്യും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

11. And I have multiplied on you man and beast, And they have multiplied and been fruitful, And I have caused you to dwell according to your former states, And I have done better than at your beginnings, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah.

12. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളില് മനുഷ്യരെ, എന്റെ ജനമായ യിസ്രായേലിനെ തന്നേ, സഞ്ചരിക്കുമാറാക്കും; അവര് നിന്നെ കൈവശമാക്കും; നീ അവര്ക്കും അവകാശമായിരിക്കും; നീ അവരെ ഇനി മക്കളില്ലാത്തവരാക്കുകയുമില്ല.

12. And I have caused man to walk over you, -- My people Israel, And they possess thee, and thou hast been to them for an inheritance, And thou dost add no more to bereave them.

13. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; അര് നിന്നോടുനീ മനുഷ്യരെ തിന്നുകളകയും നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ മക്കളില്ലാത്തവരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത ദേശമാകുന്നു എന്നു പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു,

13. Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because they are saying to you: A devourer of men [art] thou, And a bereaver of thy nations thou hast been,

14. നീ ഇനിമേല് മനുഷ്യരെ തിന്നുകളകയില്ല; നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ മക്കളില്ലാത്തവരാക്കുകയുമില്ല; എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

14. Therefore, man thou devourest no more, And thy nations thou causest not to stumble any more, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

15. ഞാന് ഇനി നിന്നെ ജാതികളുടെ നിന്ദ കേള്പ്പിക്കയില്ല; വംശങ്ങളുടെ അപമാനം നീ ഇനി വഹിക്കയില്ല; നീ ഇനി നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ മക്കളില്ലാത്തവരാക്കുകയുമില്ല എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

15. And I proclaim not unto thee any more the shame of the nations, And the reproach of peoples thou bearest no more, And thy nations stumble not any more, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'

16. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

16. And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

17. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹം തങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു പാര്ത്തിരുന്നപ്പോള്, അവര് അതിനെ തങ്ങളുടെ നടപ്പുകൊണ്ടും പ്രവൃത്തികള്കൊണ്ടും മലിനമാക്കി; എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ അവരുടെ നടപ്പു ഋതുവായോരു സ്ത്രീയുടെ മാലിന്യംപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

17. 'Son of man, The house of Israel are dwelling on their land, And they defile it by their way and by their doings, As the uncleanness of a separated one hath their way been before Me.

18. അവര് ദേശത്തു ചൊരിഞ്ഞ രക്തംനിമിത്തവും അതിനെ തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങള്കൊണ്ടു മലിനമാക്കിയതുനിമിത്തവും ഞന് എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരുടെമേല് പകര്ന്നു.

18. And I do pour out My fury upon them For the blood that they shed on the land, And with their idols they have defiled it.

19. ഞാന് അവരെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ചിന്നിച്ചു; അവര് ദേശങ്ങളില് ചിതറിപ്പോയി; അവരുടെ നടപ്പിന്നും പ്രവൃത്തികള്ക്കും തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാന് അവരെ ന്യായം വിധിച്ചു.

19. And I scatter them among nations, And they are spread through lands, According to their way, and according to their doings, I have judged them.

20. അവര് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ചെന്നുചേര്ന്നപ്പോള്, ഇവര് യഹോവയുടെ ജനം, അവന്റെ ദേശം വിട്ടുപോകേണ്ടിവന്നവര് എന്നു അവര് അവരെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുമാറാക്കിയതിനാല് അവര് എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി.

20. And one goeth in unto the nations whither they have gone, And they pollute My holy name by saying to them, The people of Jehovah [are] these, And from His land they have gone forth.

21. എങ്കിലും യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹം ചെന്നുചേര്ന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു എനിക്കു അയ്യോഭാവം തോന്നി.

21. And I have pity on My holy name, That the house of Israel have polluted among nations whither they have gone in.

22. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുയിസ്രായേല് ഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ നിമിത്തമല്ല, നിങ്ങള് ചെന്നുചേര്ന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് നിങ്ങള് അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധ നാമംനിമിത്തം അത്രേ ഞാന് അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നതു.

22. Therefore, say to the house of Israel, Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Not for your sake am I working, O house of Israel, But -- for My holy name, That ye have polluted among nations whither ye have gone in.

23. ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് നിങ്ങള് അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയതായി അവരുടെ ഇടയില് അശുദ്ധമായ്പോയിരിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ മഹത്തായ നാമത്തെ ഞാന് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കും; ജാതികള് കാണ്കെ ഞാന് എന്നെത്തന്നേ നിങ്ങളില് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

23. And I have sanctified My great name, That is profaned among nations, That ye have polluted in your midst, And known have the nations that I [am] Jehovah, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, In My being sanctified in you before your eyes.

24. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു കൂട്ടി സകലദേശങ്ങളില്നിന്നും നിങ്ങളെ ശേഖരിച്ചു സ്വന്തദേശത്തേക്കു വരുത്തും.

24. And I have taken you out of the nations, And have gathered you out of all the lands, And I have brought you in unto your land,

25. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെമേല് നിര്മ്മലജലം തളിക്കും; നിങ്ങള് നിര്മ്മലരായി തീരും, ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലമലിനതയെയും സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും നീക്കി നിങ്ങളെ നിര്മ്മലീകരിക്കും.

25. And I have sprinkled over you clean water, And ye have been clean; From all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols, I do cleanse you.

26. ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പുതിയോരു ഹൃദയം തരും; പുതിയോരു ആത്മാവിനെ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളില് ആക്കും; കല്ലായുള്ള ഹൃദയം ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ജഡത്തില്നിന്നു നീക്കി മാംസമായുള്ള ഹൃദയം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരും.

26. And I have given to you a new heart, And a new spirit I give in your midst, And I have turned aside the heart of stone out of your flesh, And I have given to you a heart of flesh.

27. ഞാന് എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളില് ആക്കി നിങ്ങളെ എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളില് നടക്കുമാറാക്കും; നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ വിധികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു അനുഷ്ഠിക്കും.

27. And My Spirit I give in your midst, And I have done this, so that in My statutes ye walk, And My judgments ye keep, and have done them.

28. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും കൊടുത്ത ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങള് പാര്ക്കും; നിങ്ങള് എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൈവമായും ഇരിക്കും.

28. And ye have dwelt in the land that I have given to your fathers, And ye have been to Me for a people, And I -- I am to you for God.

29. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ സകല മലിനതകളും നീക്കി നിങ്ങളെ രക്ഷിക്കും; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെമേല് ക്ഷാമം വരുത്താതെ ധാന്യം വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തി വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും.

29. And I have saved you from all your uncleannesses, And I have called unto the corn, and multiplied it, And I have put no famine upon you.

30. നിങ്ങള് ഇനിമേല് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് ക്ഷാമത്തിന്റെ നിന്ദ അനുഭവിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ ഫലവും നിലത്തിന്റെ വിളവും വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും.

30. And I have multiplied the fruit of the tree, And the increase of the field, So that ye receive not any more a reproach of famine among nations.

31. അപ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുര്മ്മാര്ഗ്ഗങ്ങളെയും നന്നല്ലാത്ത പ്രവൃത്തികളെയും ഔര്ത്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങള് നിമിത്തവും മ്ളേച്ഛതകള് നിമിത്തവും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു നിങ്ങളോടു തന്നേ വെറുപ്പു തോന്നും.

31. And ye have remembered your ways that [are] evil, And your doings that [are] not good, And have been loathsome in your own faces, For your iniquities, and for your abominations.

32. നിങ്ങളുടെ നിമിത്തമല്ല ഞാന് ഇതു ചെയ്യുന്നതു എന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ബോധ്യമായിരിക്കട്ടെ എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ നടപ്പുനിമിത്തം ലജ്ജിച്ചു നാണിപ്പിന് .

32. Not for your sake am I working, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, Be it known to you, Be ashamed and confounded, because of your ways, O house of Israel.

33. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളൊക്കെയും നീക്കി നിങ്ങളെ നിര്മ്മലീകരിക്കുന്ന നാളില് നിങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങളില് ഞാന് ആളെ പാര്പ്പിക്കും; ശൂന്യസ്ഥലങ്ങളെയും പണിയും.

33. Thus said the Lord Jehovah: In the day of My cleansing you from all your iniquities, I have caused the cities to be inhabited, And the wastes have been built,

34. വഴിപോകുന്ന ഏവരുടെയും കാഴ്ചെക്കു ശൂന്യമായ്ക്കിടന്നിരുന്ന പ്രദേശത്തു കൃഷി നടക്കും.

34. And the desolate land is tilled, Instead of which it was a desolation before the eyes of every passer by,

35. ശൂന്യമായ്ക്കിടന്നിരുന്ന ദേശം ഏദെന് തോട്ടം പോലെയായ്തീര്ന്നുവല്ലോ; പാഴും ശൂന്യവുമായി ഇടിഞ്ഞുകിടന്നിരുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങള് ഉറപ്പും നിവാസികളും ഉള്ളവ ആയിത്തീര്ന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു അവര് പറയും.

35. And they have said: This land, that was desolated, Hath been as the garden of Eden, And the cities -- the wasted, And the desolated, and the broken down, Fenced places have remained.

36. ഇടിഞ്ഞുകിടന്നിരുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങളെ യഹോവയായ ഞാന് പണിതു, ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്തു നടുതല വെച്ചുണ്ടാക്കി എന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റും ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികള് അന്നു അറിയും; യഹോവയായ ഞാന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് നിവര്ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

36. And known have the nations who are left round about you, That I Jehovah have built the thrown down, I have planted the desolated: I Jehovah have spoken, and I have done [it].

37. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുയിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹം എന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടു ഞാന് ഒന്നുകൂടെ ചെയ്യുംഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ആളുകളെ ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

37. Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Yet this I am required, By the house of Israel to do to them, I multiply them as a flock of men,

38. ശൂന്യമായ്പോയിരുന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങള് വിശുദ്ധമായ ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടംപോലെ, ഉത്സവങ്ങളില് യെരൂശലേമിലെ ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടംപോലെ തന്നേ, മനുഷ്യരാകുന്ന ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടം കൊണ്ടു നിറയും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

38. As a flock of holy ones, as a flock of Jerusalem, In her appointed seasons, So are the waste cities full of flocks of men, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah!'
