1. It was the twenty-fifth year since the people of Israel were taken away to a strange land, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, and fourteen years since Jerusalem was taken in battle. On that day the hand of the Lord was upon me and He brought me there.

2. In a special way God brought me into the land of Israel and set me on a very high mountain. There were some buildings on its south side that looked like a city.

3. He took me there, and I saw a man who looked like he was made of brass. In his hand was a linen rope and a stick to find how long something is. He was standing at the gate.

4. ആ പുരുഷന് എന്നോടുമനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നോക്കി ചെവികൊണ്ടു കേട്ടു ഞാന് നിന്നെ കാണിപ്പാന് പോകുന്ന എല്ലാറ്റിലും ശ്രദ്ധവെക്കുക; ഞാന് അവ നിനക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരുവാനായിട്ടാകുന്നു നിന്നെ ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നതു; നീ കാണുന്നതൊക്കെയും യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തോടു അറിയിക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

4. And the man said to me, 'Son of man, look with your eyes, hear with your ears, and think about all I am going to show you. For you have been brought here so that I may show it to you. Tell the people of Israel everything you see.'

5. എന്നാല് ആലയത്തിന്നു പുറമെ ചുറ്റും ഒരു മതില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ആ പുരുഷന്റെ കയ്യില് ആറു മുഴം നീളമുള്ള ഒരു അളവുദണ്ഡു ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; മുഴമോ ഒരു മുഴവും നാലു വിരലും അത്രേ; അവന് മതില് അളന്നു; വീതി ഒരു ദണ്ഡു, ഉയരം ഒരു ദണ്ഡു;

5. I saw a wall all around the outside of the house of the Lord. The stick in the man's hand was six arm-lengths long (with the width of a hand being added to the length of each arm). And with it he showed that the wall was one stick wide and one stick high.

6. പിന്നെ അവന് കിഴക്കോട്ടു ദര്ശനമുള്ള ഗോപുരത്തിങ്കല് ചെന്നു അതിന്റെ പതനങ്ങളില് കയറി ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ ഉമ്മരപ്പടി അളന്നു; അതിന്റെ വീതി ഒരു ദണ്ഡു; മറ്റെ ഉമ്മരപ്പടിയുടെ വീതിയും ഒരു ദണ്ഡു;

6. Then he went up the steps of the east gate, and showed me with his stick that the gateway was one stick wide, and the other gate was also one stick wide.

7. ഔരോ മാടത്തിന്നും ഒരു ദണ്ഡു നീളവും ഒരു ദണ്ഡു വീതിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; മാടങ്ങള് തമ്മില് അയ്യഞ്ചു മുഴം അകന്നിരുന്നു; ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ ഉമ്മരപ്പടി അകത്തു ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തിന്നരികെ ഒരു ദണ്ഡായിരുന്നു.

7. The rooms for the watchmen were each one stick long and one stick wide, and they were five arm-lengths apart. And the gateway next to the porch toward the Lord's house was one stick wide.

8. അവന് ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ പൂമുഖം അകത്തു വശം അളന്നു; ഒരു ദണ്ഡു.

8. Then he showed me with his stick that the porch of the inside gate was one-tenth stick wide.

9. The porch of the gate was eight arm-lengths and its side pillars two arm-lengths wide. The porch of the gate was on the inside.

10. കിഴക്കോട്ടു ദര്ശനമുള്ള ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ മാടങ്ങള് ഇപ്പുറത്തു മൂന്നും അപ്പുറത്തു മൂന്നും ആയിരുന്നു; മൂന്നിന്നും ഒരേ അളവും ഇപ്പുറത്തും അപ്പുറത്തും ഉള്ള കട്ടളക്കാലുകള്ക്കു ഒരേ അളവും ആയിരുന്നു.

10. There were three rooms for the watchmen on each side of the east gate. They all had the same length and width. And the pillars on each side were the same in width.

11. അവന് ഗോപുരപ്രവേശനത്തിന്റെ വീതി അളന്നു; പത്തു മുഴം; ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ നീളം അളന്നുപതിമൂന്നു മുഴം.

11. Then he showed me that the opening of the gateway was ten arm-lengths wide and thirteen arm-lengths long.

12. മാടങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പില് ഇപ്പുറത്തു ഒരു മുഴമുള്ളോരു അതിരഴിയും അപ്പുറത്തു ഒരു മുഴമുള്ളോരു അതിരഴിയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഇപ്പുറത്തും അപ്പുറത്തും ഔരോ മാടവും ആറാറു മുഴം ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു.

12. There was a wall one-tenth armlength wide in front of the watchmen's rooms on each side. And the watchmen's rooms were six arm-lengths wide and six arm-lengths long.

13. അവന് ഒരു മാടത്തിന്റെ മേല്പുരമുതല് മറ്റേതിന്റെ മേല്പുരവരെ അളന്നു; വാതിലോടു വാതില് ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു മുഴമായിരുന്നു.

13. Then he showed me that it was twenty-five arm-lengths from the roof of one room to the roof of the room across from it.

14. He showed me that it was twenty arm-lengths around the walls inside the gateway, up to the porch facing the open space.

15. പ്രവേശനവാതിലിന്റെ മുന് ഭാഗം തുടങ്ങി അകത്തെ വാതില്ക്കലെ പൂമുഖത്തിന്റെ മുന് ഭാഗംവരെ അമ്പുത മുഴമായിരുന്നു.

15. It was fifteen arm-lengths from the front of the outer gate to the front of the porch of the inner gate.

16. ഗോപുരത്തിന്നും പൂമുഖത്തിന്നും അകത്തേക്കു ചുറ്റിലും മാടങ്ങളിലും ഇടത്തൂണുകളിലും അഴിയുള്ള ജാലകങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ആ ജാലകങ്ങള് അകത്തു ചുറ്റും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഔരോ ഇടത്തൂണിന്മേലും ഈന്തപ്പനകളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

16. There were narrow windows looking toward the watchmen's rooms and toward their side pillars, all around inside the gate and also in the porches. And pictures of palm trees were cut on each side pillar.

17. പിന്നെ അവന് എന്നെ പുറത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു; അവിടെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്നു ചുറ്റും മണ്ഡപങ്ങളും ഔരോ കല്തളവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; കല്തളത്തിങ്കല് മുപ്പതു മണ്ഡപം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

17. Then he brought me into the outer open space, and I saw rooms and a stone floor all around it. Thirty rooms were around the stone floor.

18. കല്തളം ഗോപുരങ്ങളുടെ നീളത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ഗോപുരങ്ങളുടെ പാര്ശ്വത്തില് ആയിരുന്നു; അതു താഴത്തെ കലളം.

18. The lower stone floor was beside the gates, and was as wide as the gates.

19. പിന്നെ അവന് താഴത്തെ ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ മുന് ഭാഗം മുതല് അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ പുറത്തെ മുന് ഭാഗംവരെയുള്ള അകലം അളന്നു; കിഴക്കോട്ടും വടക്കോട്ടും നൂറീതു മുഴമായിരുന്നു.

19. Then he showed me how far it was from the inside of the lower gate to the outside of the inner open space. Both east and north sides were 100 arm-lengths each.

20. വടക്കോട്ടു ദര്ശനമുള്ള പുറത്തെ പ്രാകാരഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ നീളവും വീതിയും അവന് അളന്നു.

20. He then showed me the length and width of the north gate of the outer open space.

21. അതിന്റെ മാടങ്ങള് ഇപ്പുറത്തു മൂന്നും അപ്പുറത്തു മൂന്നും ആയിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ഇടത്തൂണുകളും പൂമുഖവും ഒന്നാമത്തെ ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ അളവുപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ നീളം അമ്പതു മുഴവും വീതി ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു മുഴവുമായിരുന്നു.

21. It had three rooms on each side for the watchmen. Its side pillars and porches were as long and as wide as the first gate. It was as long as fifty arm-lengths, and as wide as twenty-five arm-lengths.

22. അതിന്റെ ജാലകങ്ങളും പൂമുഖവും ഈന്തപ്പനകളും കിഴക്കോട്ടു ദര്ശനമുള്ള ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ അളവുപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു; ഏഴു പതനത്താല് അതിലേക്കു കയറാം; അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖം അതിന്റെ അകത്തുഭാഗത്തായിരുന്നു.

22. Its windows, its porches, and palm tree pictures were the same length and width as those of the east gate. Seven steps led up to it, and its porch was in front of them.

23. അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്നു വടക്കോട്ടും കിഴക്കോട്ടും ഉള്ള ഗോപുരത്തിന്നു നേരെ ഒരു ഗോപുരം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഒരു ഗോപുരം മുതല് മറ്റെ ഗോപുരംവരെ അവന് അളന്നുനൂറു മുഴം.

23. Across from the north gate was another gate leading to the inner open space, just as there was for the east gate. He showed me that it was 100 arm-lengths from gate to gate.

24. പിന്നെ അവന് എന്നെ തെക്കോട്ടു കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു; തെക്കോട്ടു ഒരു ഗോപുരം; അതിന്റെ ഇടത്തൂണുകളും പൂമുഖവും അവന് ഈ അളവുപോലെ തന്നേ അളന്നു.

24. Then he led me to the south, and I saw a gate toward the south. He showed me the length and width of its side pillars and its porches, and they were the same as the others.

25. ആ ജാലകങ്ങള് പോലെ ഇതിന്നും അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തിന്നും ചുറ്റും ജാലകങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; നീളം അമ്പതു മുഴവും വീതി ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു മുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു.

25. The gate and its porches had windows like the others all around and was as long as fifty arm-lengths and as wide as twenty-five arm-lengths.

26. അതിലേക്കു കയറുവാന് ഏഴു പതനം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖം അതിന്റെ അകത്തുഭാഗത്തായിരുന്നു; അതിന്നു അതിന്റെ ഇടത്തൂണുകളിന്മേല് ഈന്തപ്പനകള് ഇപ്പുറത്തൊന്നും അപ്പുറത്തൊന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

26. Seven steps led up to it, and its porches were in front of them. And it had pictures of palm trees on its side pillars, one on each side.

27. അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്നു തെക്കോട്ടു ഒരു ഗോപുരം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; തെക്കോട്ടു ഒരു ഗോപുരം മുതല് മറ്റെഗോപുരംവരെ അവന് അളന്നുനൂറു മുഴം.

27. The open space had a gate toward the south. He showed me that it was 100 arm-lengths from gate to gate toward the south.

28. പിന്നെ അവന് തെക്കെ ഗോപുരത്തില്കൂടി എന്നെ അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തില് കൊണ്ടു ചെന്നു; അവന് തെക്കെ ഗോപുരവും ഈ അളവുപോലെ തന്നേ അളന്നു.

28. Then he brought me to the inner open space by the south gate, and showed me that this gate had the same width as the others.

29. അതിന്റെ മാടങ്ങളും ഇടത്തൂണുകളും പൂമുഖവും ഈ അളവുപോലെ തന്നേ ആയിരുന്നു; അതിന്നും അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തിന്നും ചുറ്റും ജാലകങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതു അമ്പതു മുഴം നീളവും ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു മുഴം വീതിയും ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു.

29. Its watchmen's rooms, side pillars and porches were also the same as the others and had windows all around. It was as long as fifty arm-lengths and as wide as twenty-five arm-lengths.

30. പൂമുഖങ്ങള് ചുറ്റും ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു മുഴം നീളവും അഞ്ചുമുഴം വീതിയും ഉള്ളവയായിരുന്നു.

30. (There were porches all around, as long as twenty-five arm-lengths and five arm-lengths wide)

31. അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖം പുറത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ആയിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ഇടത്തൂണുകളിന്മേല് ഈന്തപ്പനകള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതിലേക്കു കയറുവാന് എട്ടു പതനം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

31. and its porches were toward the outer open space. Pictures of palm trees were on its side pillars, and leading up to it were eight steps.

32. പിന്നെ അവന് എന്നെ കിഴക്കു അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു; അവന് ഗോപുരത്തെ ഈ അളവുപോലെ തന്നേ അളന്നു.

32. Then he brought me to the inner open space toward the east. He showed me that it was as wide as the others.

33. അതിന്റെ മാടങ്ങളും ഇടത്തൂണുകളും പൂമുഖവും ഈ അളവുപോലെ തന്നേ ആയിരുന്നു; അതിന്നു അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തിന്നും ചുറ്റും ജാലകങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതു അമ്പതു മുഴം നീളവും ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു മുഴം വീതിയും ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു;

33. Its watchmen's rooms, side pillars and porches were also the same as the others and, there were windows all around which were as long as fifty arm-lengths and as wide as twenty-five arm-lengths.

34. അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖം പുറത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്നു നേരെ ആയിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ഇടത്തൂണുകളിന്മേല് ഇപ്പുറത്തും അപ്പുറത്തും ഈന്തപ്പനകള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതിലേക്കു കയറുവാന് എട്ടു പതനം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

34. Its gateway was toward the outer open space. Pictures of palm trees were on its side pillars, on each side. And going up to it were eight steps.

35. പിന്നെ അവന് എന്നെ വടക്കെ ഗോപുരത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു, ഈ അളവുപോലെ തന്നേ അതും അളന്നു.

35. Then he brought me to the north gate, and showed me that it was the same width as the others.

36. അവന് അതിന്റെ മാടങ്ങളും ഇടത്തൂണുകളും പൂമുഖവും അളന്നു; ചുറ്റും അതിന്നു ജാലകങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ നീളം അമ്പതു മുഴവും വീതി ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചു മുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു.

36. Its watchmen's rooms, side pillars and porches were also the same as the others. There were windows all around and it was as long as fifty arm-lengths and as wide as twentyfive arm-lengths.

37. അതിന്റെ പൂമുഖം പുറത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തിന്നു നേരെ ആയിരുന്നു; ഇടത്തൂണുകളിന്മേല് ഇപ്പുറത്തും അപ്പുറത്തും ഈന്തപ്പനകള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതിലേക്കു കയറുവാന് എട്ടു പതനം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

37. Its side pillars were toward the outer open space. Pictures of palm trees were on its side pillars, on each side. And going up to it were eight steps.

38. അവിടെ ഒരു അറ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതിലേക്കുള്ള പ്രവേശനം ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തില്കൂടി ആയിരുന്നു; അവിടെ അവര് ഹോമയാഗം കഴുകും.

38. There was a room with its door by the side pillars, where the burnt gifts were washed.

39. ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തു ഇപ്പുറത്തു രണ്ടു മേശയും അപ്പുറത്തു രണ്ടു മേശയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവയുടെ മേല് ഹോമയാഗവും പാപയാഗവും അകൃത്യയാഗവും അറുക്കും.

39. And there were two tables on each side of the porch. On these tables the animals were killed for the burnt gifts, the sin gifts, and the guilt gifts.

40. ഗോപുരപ്രവേശനത്തിങ്കല് കയറുമ്പോള് പുറമെ വടക്കുവശത്തു രണ്ടുമേശയും പൂമുഖത്തിന്റെ മറുവശത്തു രണ്ടുമേശയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

40. On the outer side of the gateway, by the north gate, were two tables. And there were two tables on the other side of the gate.

41. ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ പാര്ശ്വഭാഗത്തു ഇപ്പുറത്തു നാലും അപ്പുറത്തു നാലും ഇങ്ങിനെ എട്ടു മേശ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവയുടെ മേല് അവര് യാഗങ്ങളെ അറുക്കും.

41. So there were four tables on each side of the gateway, eight tables in all, where they killed the animals for the altar.

42. ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള നാലു മേശയും ചെത്തിയ കല്ലുകൊണ്ടു ഒന്നര മുഴം നീളവും ഒന്നര മുഴം വീതിയും ഒരു മുഴം ഉയരവുമായി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരുന്നു; അവയുടെ മേല് അവര് ഹോമയാഗവും ഹനനയാഗവും അറുപ്പാനുള്ള ആയുധങ്ങള് വേക്കും.

42. There were four tables for the burnt gifts. They were made of cut stone, and were one-and-a-half arm-lengths long, one-and-a-half armlength wide, and one arm-length high. The objects used for killing the animals for the burnt gifts were kept on these stone tables.

43. അകത്തു ചുറ്റിലും നാലു വിരല് നീളമുള്ള കൊളുത്തുകള് തറെച്ചിരുന്നു; എന്നാല് മേശകളുടെ മേല് നിവേദിതമാംസം വേക്കും.

43. Hooks as long as a man's hand hung on the wall all around. The tables were for the meat of the burnt gifts.

44. അകത്തെ ഗോപുരത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു, അകത്തെ പ്രാകാരത്തില് തന്നേ, രണ്ടു മണ്ഡപം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഒന്നു വടക്കെ ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ പാര്ശ്വത്തു തെക്കോട്ടു ദര്ശനമുള്ളതായിരുന്നു; മറ്റേതു തെക്കെ ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ പാര്ശ്വത്തു വടക്കോട്ടു ദര്ശനമുള്ളതായിരുന്നു.

44. Then he brought me from the outside into the inner open space and there were two rooms for the singers. One was at the side of the north gate which faced the south, and the other was at the side of the south gate which faced the north.

45. അവന് എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുതെക്കോട്ടു ദര്ശനമുള്ള ഈ മണ്ഡപം ആലയത്തിന്റെ വിചാരകരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര്ക്കുംള്ളതു.

45. And he said to me, 'This room which faces the south is for the religious leaders who take care of the Lord's house.

46. വടക്കോട്ടു ദര്ശനമുള്ള മണ്ഡപം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ വിചാരകരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാര്ക്കുംള്ളതു; ഇവര് യഹോവേക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു അടുത്തുചെല്ലുന്ന ലേവ്യരില് സാദോക്കിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരാകുന്നു.

46. The room which faces the north is for the religious leaders who take care of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, who are the only Levites who may come near the Lord to do His work.'

47. അവന് പ്രാകാരത്തെ അളന്നു; അതു നൂറു മുഴം നീളവും നൂറു മുഴം വീതിയും ഇങ്ങനെ ചതുരശ്രമായിരുന്നു; യാഗപീഠമോ ആലയത്തിന്റെ മുന് വശത്തായിരുന്നു.

47. He showed me that the inner open space was as long as 100 arm-lengths and as wide as 100 arm-lengths, the same on all four sides. And the altar was in front of the Lord's house.

48. പിന്നെ അവന് എന്നെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തു കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു; അവന് പൂമുഖത്തിന്റെ മുറിച്ചുവര് അളന്നു, ഇപ്പുറത്തുള്ളതു അഞ്ചു മുഴം; അപ്പുറത്തുള്ളതു അഞ്ചു മുഴം; മുറിച്ചുവരിന്റെ വീതിയോ ഇപ്പുറത്തു മൂന്നു മുഴവും അപ്പുറത്തു മൂന്നു മുഴവും ആയിരുന്നു.

48. Then he brought me to the porch of the Lord's house. He showed me that each side pillar of the porch was five arm-lengths wide. And each side of the gate was three arm-lengths wide.

49. പൂമുഖത്തിന്റെ നീളം ഇരുപതു മുഴം, വീതി പന്ത്രണ്ടു മുഴം, അതിലേക്കു കയറുവാനുള്ള പതനം പത്തു; മുറിച്ചുവരുകള്ക്കരികെ ഇപ്പുറത്തു ഒന്നും അപ്പുറത്തു ഒന്നുമായി തൂണുകള് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

49. The porch was as long as twenty arm-lengths, and six steps wide. Ten steps led up to it, and there was one pillar on each side.
