1. നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും അമ്മീ (എന്റെ ജനം) എന്നും നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരി മാര്ക്കും രൂഹമാ (കരുണ ലഭിച്ചവള്) എന്നും പേര് വിളിപ്പിന് .
1 പത്രൊസ് 2:10

1. Say ye unto your brethren, O Ammi, and unto your sisters, O Ruhamah:

2. വ്യവഹരിപ്പിന് ; നിങ്ങളുടെ അമ്മയോടു വ്യവഹരിപ്പിന് ; അവള് എന്റെ ഭാര്യയല്ല, ഞാന് അവളുടെ ഭര്ത്താവുമല്ല; അവള് പരസംഗം മുഖത്തുനിന്നും വ്യഭിചാരം മുലകളുടെ നടുവില്നിന്നും നീക്കിക്കളയട്ടെ.

2. Contend ye with your mother, contend, for she is no wife of mine, and I am no husband of hers, Let her then put away her paramours from before her, and her partners in adultery, from her embraces:

3. അല്ലെങ്കില് ഞാന് അവളെ വസ്ത്രം അഴിച്ചു നഗ്നയാക്കി, ജനിച്ച ദിവസത്തിലെപ്പോലെ നിര്ത്തുകയും അവളെ മരുഭൂമിയും വരണ്ട നിലവുംപോലെ ആക്കി, ദാഹംകൊണ്ടു മരിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

3. Lest I strip off her under-clothing, and set her forth to view, as in the day she was born, and make her like a wilderness, and render her like a land that is parched, and suffer her to die of thirst;

4. ഞാന് അവളുടെ മക്കളോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കയില്ല; അവര് പരസംഗത്തില് ജനിച്ച മക്കളല്ലോ.

4. And, on her children, not have compassion, because, the children of paramours, they are.

5. അവരുടെ അമ്മ പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; അവരെ പ്രസവിച്ചവള് ലജ്ജ പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു; എനിക്കു അപ്പവും വെള്ളവും ആട്ടുരോമവും ശണവും എണ്ണയും പാനീയവും തരുന്ന എന്റെ ജാരന്മാരുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഞാന് പോകുമെന്നു പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.

5. For their mother, hath been unchaste, and she that conceived them, hath caused shame, for she said, Let me go after my lovers! who used to give my bread, and my water, my wool, and my flax, mine oil, and my drink.

6. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്റെ വഴിയെ മുള്ളുകൊണ്ടു വേലി കെട്ടി അടെക്കും; അവള് തന്റെ പാതകളെ കണ്ടെത്താതവണ്ണം ഞാന് ഒരു മതില് ഉണ്ടാക്കും.

6. Therefore, behold me! hedging up her way, with thorns, and I will wall her in, and, her footpaths, shall she not find.

7. അവള് ജാരന്മാരെ പിന്തുടരും; എങ്കിലും അവരോടു ഒപ്പം എത്തുകയില്ല; അവള് അവരെ അന്വേഷിക്കും, കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ലതാനും; അപ്പോള് അവള്ഞാന് എന്റെ ആദ്യത്തെ ഭര്ത്താവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് മടങ്ങിപ്പോകും; ഇന്നത്തേക്കാള് അന്നു എനിക്കു ഏറെ നന്നായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറയും.

7. And, when she shall pursue her lovers, and not overtake them, and shall seek them and not find, then will she say, Let me go my way now! and return unto my first husband, for it was better with me, then, than, now!

8. അവള്ക്കു ധാന്യവും വീഞ്ഞും എണ്ണയും നല്കിയതും ബാലിന്നു വേണ്ടി ഉപയോഗിച്ച അവളുടെ വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചതിനും ഞാന് എന്നു അവള് അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.

8. But, she, owneth not, that, I, gave her the corn, and the new wine and the oil, silver, also increased I unto her, and gold which they offered to Baal!

9. അതുകൊണ്ടു താല്ക്കാലത്തു എന്റെ ധാന്യവും തത്സമയത്തു എന്റെ വീഞ്ഞും ഞാന് മടക്കി എടുക്കയും അവളുടെ നഗ്നത മറെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കൊടുത്തിരുന്ന എന്റെ ആട്ടിന് രോമവും ശണയവും ഞാന് എടുത്തുകളകയും ചെയ്യും.

9. Therefore, will I again take away my corn, in the time thereof, and my new wine, in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax given to hide her shame.

10. ഇപ്പോള് ഞാന് അവളുടെ ജാരന്മാര് കാണ്കെ അവളുടെ നാണിടത്തെ അനാവൃതമാക്കും; ആരും അവളെ എന്റെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കയില്ല.

10. Now, therefore, will I expose her unseemliness, before the eyes of her lovers, and no, man, shall deliver her out of my hand!

11. ഞാന് അവളുടെ സകലസന്തോഷവും ഉത്സവങ്ങളും അമാവാസികളും ശബ്ബത്തുകളും അവളുടെ വിശേഷദിവസങ്ങളും എല്ലാം ഇല്ലാതെയാക്കും.

11. And I will cause to cease all her mirth, her pilgrim-festival, her new moon and her sabbath, and her every appointed meeting;

12. ഇതു എന്റെ ജാരന്മാര് എനിക്കു തന്ന സമ്മാനങ്ങള് എന്നു അവള് പറഞ്ഞ മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളെയും അത്തിവൃക്ഷങ്ങളെയും ഞാന് നശിപ്പിച്ചു കാടാക്കും; കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങള് അവയെ തിന്നുകളയും

12. And will lay waste her vine and her fig- tree, as to which she hath said, A present, are they for myself, which my lovers, have given me, and I will make of them a thicket, and the wild beasts of the field shall devour them.

13. അവള് ബാല്വിഗ്രഹങ്ങള്ക്കു ധൂപം കാണിച്ചു കുണുക്കും ആഭരണങ്ങളുംകൊണ്ടു തന്നെ അലങ്കരിച്ചു തന്റെ ജാരന്മാരെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നു എന്നെ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞ നാളുകളെ ഞാന് അവളോടു സന്ദര്ശിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

13. So will I visit upon her the days of the Baals, unto whom she used to burn incense, and decked herself with her nose-ring and her jewelry, and went her way after her lovers, whereas, me, she forgat, Declareth Yahweh.

14. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അവളെ വശീകരിച്ചു മരുഭൂമിയില് കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു അവളോടു ഹൃദ്യമായി സംസാരിക്കും.

14. Therefore, lo! I, am going to persuade her, and, though I conduct her forth into wilderness, yet will I speak unto her heart.

15. അവിടെ നിന്നു ഞാന് അവള്ക്കു മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടങ്ങളെയും പ്രത്യാശയുടെ വാതിലായി ആഖോര്താഴ്വരയെയും കൊടുക്കും അവള് അവിടെ അവളുടെ യൌവനകാലത്തിലെന്നപോലെയും അവള് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുവന്ന നാളിലെന്നപോലെയും വിധേയ ആകും.

15. Then will I give to her her vineyards from thence, and the vale of Achor for a door of hope, and she will respond there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

16. അന്നാളില് നീ എന്നെ ബാലീ (ഉടയവനേ) എന്നല്ല ഈശീ (ഭര്ത്താവേ) എന്നു വിളിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

16. And it shall come to pass, in that day, Declareth Yahweh, that she will call me Ishi, and will not call me any more, Baali.

17. ഞാന് ബാല്വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ പേരുകളെ അവളുടെ വായില്നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; ഇനി ആരും അവയെ പേര്ചൊല്ലി സ്മരിക്കയുമില്ല.

17. So will I take away the names of the Baals, out of her mouth, and they shall not be called to mind any more, by their name.

18. അന്നാളില് ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി കാട്ടിലെ മൃഗങ്ങളോടും ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളോടും നിലത്തിലെ ഇഴജാതികളോടും ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്യും; ഞാന് വില്ലും വാളും യുദ്ധവും ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു നീക്കി, അവരെ നിര്ഭയം വസിക്കുമാറാക്കും.

18. And I will solemnize to them a covenant, in that day, with the wild-beast of the field, and with the bird of the heavens, and the creeping thing of the ground, and, bow and sword and battle, will I break in pieces out of the land, so will I cause them to lie down, in security.

19. ഞാന് നിന്നെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും എനിക്കു വിവാഹത്തിന്നു നിശ്ചയിക്കും; അതേ, നീതിയോടും ന്യായത്തോടും ദയയോടും കരുണയോടുംകൂടെ നിന്നെ എനിക്കു വിവാഹത്തിന്നു നിശ്ചയിക്കും.

19. And I will take thee unto myself, unto times age-abiding, yea I will take thee unto myself, in righteousness and in justice, and in lovingkindness, and in abounding compassion:

20. ഞാന് വിശ്വസ്തതയോടെ നിന്നെ എനിക്കു വിവാഹത്തിന്നു നിശ്ചയിക്കും; നീ യഹോവയെ അറികയും ചെയ്യും.

20. Yea I will take thee unto myself, in faithfulness, So shalt thou know Yahweh.

21. ആ കാലത്തു ഞാന് ഉത്തരം നലകും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് ആകാശത്തിന്നു ഉത്തരം നലകും; അതു ഭൂമിക്കു ഉത്തരം നലകും;

21. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will respond, Declareth Yahweh, I will respond to the heavens, and, they, shall respond to the earth;

22. ഭൂമി ധാന്യത്തിന്നും വീഞ്ഞിന്നും എണ്ണെക്കും ഉത്തരം നലകും; അവ യിസ്രെയേലിന്നും ഉത്തരം നലകും.

22. And, the earth, shall respond to the corn, and to the new wine and to the oil, and, they, shall respond to Jezreel

23. ഞാന് അതിനെ എനിക്കായി ദേശത്തു വിതെക്കും; കരുണ ലഭിക്കാത്തവളോടു ഞാന് കരുണ കാണിക്കും എന്റെ ജനമല്ലാത്തതിനോടുനീ എന്റെ ജനം എന്നു ഞാന് പറയും; നീ എന്റെ ദൈവം എന്നു അവരും പറയും.

23. So will I sow her unto me in the land, and will have compassion upon the uncompassionated one, and will say to him who was No-people-of-mine, My people, thou art, and, he, shall say, My God!
