1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. ADONAI said to Moshe,

2. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതുഎന്റെ ഉത്സവങ്ങള്, വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടേണ്ടുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങള് ആവിതു

2. 'Tell the people of Isra'el: 'The designated times of ADONAI which you are to proclaim as holy convocations are my designated times.

3. ആറു ദിവസം വേല ചെയ്യേണം; ഏഴാം ദിവസം വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം കൂടേണ്ടുന്ന സ്വസ്ഥതെക്കുള്ള ശബ്ബത്ത്. അന്നു ഒരു വേലയും ചെയ്യരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും അതു യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ബത്ത് ആകുന്നു.

3. ''Work is to be done on six days; but the seventh day is a [Shabbat] of complete rest, a holy convocation; you are not to do any kind of work; it is a [Shabbat] for ADONAI, even in your homes.

4. ''These are the designated times of ADONAI, the holy convocations you are to proclaim at their designated times.

5. ഒന്നാംമാസം പതിന്നാലം തിയ്യതി സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു യഹോവയുടെ പെസഹ.

5. ''In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between sundown and complete darkness, comes [Pesach] for ADONAI.

6. ആ മാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവേക്കു പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പെരുനാള്; ഏഴു ദിവസം പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം.

6. On the fifteenth day of the same month is the festival of [matzah]; for seven days you are to eat [matzah.]

7. ഒന്നാം ദിവസം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശുദ്ധ സഭായോഗം ഉണ്ടാകേണം; സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

7. On the first day you are to have a holy convocation; don't do any kind of ordinary work.

8. നിങ്ങള് ഏഴു ദിവസം യഹോവേക്കു ദഹനയാഗം അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; ഏഴാം ദിവസം വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം; അന്നു സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

8. Bring an offering made by fire to ADONAI for seven days. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; do not do any kind of ordinary work.''

9. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

9. ADONAI said to Moshe,

10. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങള് എത്തിയശേഷം അതിലെ വിളവെടുക്കുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങളുടെ കൊയ്ത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ കറ്റ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

10. 'Tell the people of Isra'el, 'After you enter the land I am giving you and harvest its ripe crops, you are to bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the [cohen].

11. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പ്രസാദം ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് ആ കറ്റ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നീരാജനം ചെയ്യേണം. ശബ്ബത്തിന്റെ പിറ്റെന്നാള് പുരോഹിതന് അതു നീരാജനം ചെയ്യേണം.

11. He is to wave the sheaf before ADONAI, so that you will be accepted; the [cohen] is to wave it on the day after the [Shabbat].

12. കറ്റ നീരാജനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ദിവസം നിങ്ങള് യഹോവേക്കു ഹോമയാഗമായി ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആണാട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

12. On the day that you wave the sheaf, you are to offer a male lamb without defect, in its first year, as a burnt offering for ADONAI.

13. അതിന്റെ ഭോജനയാഗം എണ്ണ ചേര്ത്ത രണ്ടിടങ്ങഴി നേരിയ മാവു ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായുള്ള ദഹനയാഗം; അതിന്റെ പാനീയയാഗം ഒരു നാഴി വീഞ്ഞു ആയിരിക്കേണം.

13. Its grain offering is to be one gallon of fine flour mixed with olive oil, an offering made by fire to ADONAI as a fragrant aroma; its drink offering is to be of wine, one quart.

14. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു വഴിപാടു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്ന ദിവസംവരെ നിങ്ങള് അപ്പമാകട്ടെ മലരാകട്ടെ കതിരാകട്ടെ തിന്നരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

14. You are not to eat bread, dried grain or fresh grain until the day you bring the offering for your God; this is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live.

15. ശബ്ബത്തിന്റെ പിറ്റെന്നാള് മുതല് നിങ്ങള് നീരാജനത്തിന്റെ കറ്റ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ദിവസംമുതല് തന്നേ, എണ്ണി ഏഴു ശബ്ബത്ത് തികയേണം.

15. ''From the day after the day of rest- that is, from the day you bring the sheaf for waving- you are to count seven full weeks,

16. ഏഴാമത്തെ ശബ്ബത്തിന്റെ പിറ്റെന്നാള്വരെ അമ്പതു ദിവസം എണ്ണി യഹോവേക്കു പുതിയ ധാന്യംകൊണ്ടു ഒരു ഭോജനയാഗം അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

16. until the day after the seventh week; you are to count fifty days; and then you are to present a new grain offering to ADONAI.

17. നീരാജനത്തിന്നു രണ്ടിങ്ങഴി മാവുകൊണ്ടു രണ്ടപ്പം നിങ്ങളുടെ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളില് നിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; അതു നേരിയ മാവുകൊണ്ടുള്ളതും പുളിപ്പിച്ചു ചുട്ടതും ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു യഹോവേക്കു ആദ്യവിളവു.

17. You must bring bread from your homes for waving- two loaves made with one gallon of fine flour, baked with leaven- as firstfruits for ADONAI.

18. അപ്പത്തോടു കൂടെ ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഏഴു ചെമ്മരിയാട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെയും ഒരു കാളകൂട്ടിയെയും രണ്ടു മുട്ടാടിനെയും അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; അവയും അവയുടെ ഭോജനയാഗവും പാനീയയാഗവും യഹോവേക്കു സൌരഭ്യവാസനയായ ദഹനയാഗമായി യഹോവേക്കു ഹോമയാഗമായിരിക്കേണം.

18. Along with the bread, present seven lambs without defect one year old, one young bull and two rams; these will be a burnt offering for ADONAI, with their grain and drink offerings, an offering made by fire as a fragrant aroma for ADONAI.

19. ഒരു കോലാട്ടു കൊറ്റനെ പാപയാഗമായും ഒരു വയസ്സുപ്രായമുള്ള രണ്ടു ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ സാമാധാനയാഗമായും അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

19. Offer one male goat as a sin offering and two male lambs one year old as a sacrifice of peace offerings.

20. പുരോഹിതന് അവയെ ആദ്യവിളവിന്റെ അപ്പത്തോടും രണ്ടു ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയോടുംകൂടെ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നീരാജനം ചെയ്യേണം; അവ പുരോഹിതന്നുവേണ്ടി യഹോവേക്കു വിശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കേണം.

20. The [cohen] will wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering before ADONAI, with the two lambs; these will be holy for ADONAI for the [cohen].

21. അന്നു തന്നേ നിങ്ങള് വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടേണം; അന്നു സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു; ഇതു നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

21. On the same day, you are to call a holy convocation; do not do any kind of ordinary work; this is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live.

22. നിങ്ങളുടെ നിലത്തിലെ വിളവു എടുക്കുമ്പോള് വയലിന്റെ അരികു തീര്ത്തുകൊയ്യരുതു; കാലാ പെറുക്കുകയുമരുതു; അതു ദരിദ്രന്നും പരദേശിക്കും വിട്ടേക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

22. ''When you harvest the ripe crops produced in your land, don't harvest all the way to the corners of your field, and don't gather the ears of grain left by the harvesters; leave them for the poor and the foreigner; I am ADONAI your God.''

23. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

23. ADONAI said to Moshe,

24. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഏഴാം മാസം ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു കാഹളധ്വനിയുടെ ജ്ഞാപകവും വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗമുള്ള സ്വസ്ഥദിവസവുമായിരിക്കേണം.

24. 'Tell the people of Isra'el, 'In the seventh month, the first of the month is to be for you a day of complete rest for remembering, a holy convocation announced with blasts on the [shofar.]

25. അന്നു സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യാതെ യഹോവേക്കു ദഹനയാഗം അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

25. Do not do any kind of ordinary work, and bring an offering made by fire to ADONAI.''

26. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

26. ADONAI said to Moshe,

27. ഏഴാം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി പാപപരിഹാരദിവസം ആകുന്നു. അന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം ഉണ്ടാകേണം; നിങ്ങള് ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്കയും യഹോവേക്കു ദഹനയാഗം അര്പ്പിക്കയും വേണം.

27. 'The tenth day of this seventh month is [Yom-Kippur]; you are to have a holy convocation, you are to deny yourselves, and you are to bring an offering made by fire to ADONAI.

28. അന്നു നിങ്ങള് യാതൊരു വേലയും ചെയ്യരുതു; അതു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നുള്ള പാപപരിഹാരദിവസം.

28. You are not to do any kind of work on that day, because it is [Yom-Kippur], to make atonement for you before ADONAI your God.

29. അന്നു ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്യാത്ത ഏവനെയും അവന്റെ ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

29. Anyone who does not deny himself on that day is to be cut off from his people;

30. അന്നു ആരെങ്കിലും വല്ല വേലയും ചെയ്താല് അവനെ ഞാന് അവന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില് നിന്നു നശിപ്പിക്കും.

30. and anyone who does any kind of work on that day, I will destroy from among his people.

31. യാതൊരു വേലയും ചെയ്യരുതു; ഇതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

31. You are not to do any kind of work; it is a permanent regulation through all your generations, no matter where you live.

32. അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു സ്വസ്ഥതെക്കുള്ള ശബ്ബത്ത്; അന്നു നിങ്ങള് ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്യേണം. ആ മാസം ഒമ്പതാം തിയ്യതി വൈകുന്നേരം മുതല് പിറ്റെന്നാള് വൈകുന്നേരംവരെ നിങ്ങള് ശബ്ബത്ത് ആചരിക്കേണം.

32. It will be for you a [Shabbat] of complete rest, and you are to deny yourselves; you are to rest on your [Shabbat] from evening the ninth day of the month until the following evening.'

33. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

33. ADONAI said to Moshe,

34. നീ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഏഴാം മാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി മുതല് ഏഴു ദിവസം യഹോവേക്കു കൂടാരപ്പെരുനാള് ആകുന്നു.

34. 'Tell the people of Isra'el, 'On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of [Sukkot] for seven days to ADONAI.

35. ഒന്നാം ദിവസത്തില് വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം ഉണ്ടാകേണം; അന്നു സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

35. On the first day there is to be a holy convocation; do not do any kind of ordinary work.

36. ഏഴു ദിവസം യഹോവേക്കു ദഹനയാഗം അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; എട്ടാംദിവസം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം ഉണ്ടാകേണം; യഹോവേക്കു ദഹനയാഗവും അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; അന്നു അന്ത്യസഭായോഗം; സാമാന്യവേല യാതൊന്നും ചെയ്യരുതു.

36. For seven days you are to bring an offering made by fire to ADONAI; on the eighth day you are to have a holy convocation and bring an offering made by fire to ADONAI; it is a day of public assembly; do not do any kind of ordinary work.

37. യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളും നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴിപാടുകളും നിങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാ നേര്ച്ചകളും നിങ്ങള് യഹോവേക്കു കൊടുക്കുന്ന സകല സ്വമേധാദാനങ്ങളും കൂടാതെ

37. ''These are the designated times of ADONAI that you are to proclaim as holy convocations and bring an offering made by fire to ADONAI- a burnt offering, a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, each on its own day-

38. അതതു ദിവസത്തില് യഹോവേക്കു ദഹനയാഗവും ഹോമയാഗവും ഭോജനയാഗവും പാനീയയാഗവും അര്പ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗങ്ങള് വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടേണ്ടുന്ന യഹോവയുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങള് ഇവ തന്നേ.

38. besides the [Shabbat]s of ADONAI, your gifts, all your vows and all your voluntary offerings that you give to ADONAI.

39. ഭൂമിയുടെ ഫലം ശേഖരിച്ചശേഷം ഏഴാം മാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവേക്കു ഏഴുദിവസം ഉത്സവം ആചരിക്കേണം; ആദ്യദിവസം വിശുദ്ധസ്വസ്ഥത; എട്ടാം ദിവസം വിശുദ്ധസ്വസ്ഥത.

39. 'But on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered the produce of the land, you are to observe the festival of ADONAI seven days; the first day is to be a complete rest and the eighth day is to be a complete rest[.]

40. ആദ്യദിവസം ഭംഗിയുള്ള വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ ഫലവും ഈത്തപ്പനയുടെ കുരുത്തോലയും തഴെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ കൊമ്പും ആറ്റലരിയും എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ഏഴു ദിവസം സന്തോഷിക്കേണം.

40. On the first day you are to take choice fruit, palm fronds, thick branches and river-willows, and celebrate in the presence of ADONAI your God for seven days.

41. സംവത്സരംതോറും ഏഴു ദിവസം യഹോവേക്കു ഈ ഉത്സവം ആചരിക്കേണം; ഇതു തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം; ഏഴാം മാസത്തില് അതു ആചരിക്കേണം.

41. You are to observe it as a feast to ADONAI seven days in the year; it is a permanent regulation, generation after generation; keep it in the seventh month.

42. ഞാന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്നപ്പോള്

42. You are to live in [sukkot] for seven days; every citizen of Isra'el is to live in a [sukkah],

43. അവരെ കൂടാരങ്ങളില് പാര്പ്പിച്ചു എന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്തതികള് അറിവാന് നിങ്ങള് ഏഴു ദിവസം കൂടാരങ്ങളില് പാര്ക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേലിലെ സ്വദേശികള് ഒക്കെയും കൂടാരങ്ങളില് പാര്ക്കേണം; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.

43. so that generation after generation of you will know that I made the people of Isra'el live in [sukkot] when I brought them out of the land of Egypt; I am ADONAI your God.''

44. അങ്ങനെ മോശെ യഹോവയുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങളെ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

44. Thus Moshe announced to the people of Isra'el the designated times of ADONAI. [(vii)]
