1. അവന് പന്തിരുവരെ അടുക്കല് വിളിച്ചു, സകല ഭൂതങ്ങളുടെമേലും വ്യാധികളെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുവാനും അവര്ക്കും ശക്തിയും അധികാരവും കൊടുത്തു;

1. And, calling together the twelve, he gave them power and authority over all the demons, and to be curing, diseases;

2. ദൈവരാജ്യം പ്രസംഗിപ്പാനും രോഗികള്ക്കു സൌഖ്യം വരുത്തുവാനും അവരെ അയച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതു

2. and sent them forth, to be proclaiming the kingdom of God, and to be healing;

3. വഴിക്കു വടിയും പൊക്കണവും അപ്പവും പണവും ഒന്നും എടുക്കരുതു; രണ്ടു ഉടുപ്പും അരുതു.

3. and said unto them Nothing, take ye for the journey, neither staff, nor satchel, nor bread, nor silver, nor to have, two tunics.

4. നിങ്ങള് ഏതു വീട്ടില് എങ്കിലും ചെന്നാല് അവിടം വിട്ടുപോകുംവരെ അവിടെത്തന്നെ പാര്പ്പിന് .

4. And, into whatsoever house ye enter, there, abide, and, thence, be going forth.

5. ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊള്ളാതിരുന്നാല് ആ പട്ടണം വിട്ടു അവരുടെ നേരെ സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്നായി നിങ്ങളുടെ കാലില്നിന്നു പൊടി തട്ടിക്കളവിന് .

5. And, as many soever as shall not welcome you, in going forth from that city, the dust of your feet, shake ye off, for a witness against them.

6. അവര് പുറപ്പെട്ടു എങ്ങും സുവിശേഷിച്ചും രോഗികളെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കിയും കൊണ്ടു ഊര്തോറും സഞ്ചരിച്ചു.

6. And they went forth, and were passing through, along the villages, delivering the glad-message, and effecting cures in every direction.

7. സംഭവിക്കുന്നതു എല്ലാം ഇടപ്രഭുവായ ഹെരോദാവു കേട്ടു. യോഹന്നാന് മരിച്ചവരില് നിന്നു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്നു ചിലരും ഏലീയാവു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി എന്നു ചിലരും പുരാതനപ്രവാചകന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്നു മറ്റുചിലരും പറക കൊണ്ടു ഹെരോദാവു ചഞ്ചലിച്ചു

7. Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all the things which were coming to pass, and was utterly at a loss, because of its being said, by some, that, John, had been raised from the dead;

8. യോഹന്നാനെ ഞാന് ശിരഃഛേദം ചെയ്തു; എന്നാല് ഞാന് ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളതു കേള്ക്കുന്ന ഇവന് ആര് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ കാണ്മാന് ശ്രമിച്ചു.

8. and, by some, that, Elijah, had appeared; and, by others, that, some prophet of the ancients, had arisen.

9. അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര് മടങ്ങിവന്നിട്ടു തങ്ങള് ചെയ്തതു ഒക്കെയും അവനോടു അറിയിച്ചു. അവന് അവരെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു ബേത്ത്സയിദ എന്ന പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കു തനിച്ചു വാങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

9. But Herod said John, I myself, beheaded; but, who is this, concerning whom I am hearing such things as these? And he was seeking to see him.

10. അതു പുരുഷാരം അറിഞ്ഞു അവനെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നു. അവന് അവരെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു അവരോടു സംസാരിക്കയും രോഗശാന്തി വേണ്ടിയവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

10. And the Apostles, returning, related to him what great things they had done. And, taking them aside, he retired privately, into a city called Bethsaida.

11. പകല് കഴിവാറായപ്പോള് പന്തിരുവര് അടുത്തുവന്നു അവനോടുഇവിടെ നാം മരുഭൂമിയില് ആയിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു പുരുഷാരം ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ഊരുകളിലും കുടികളിലും പോയി രാത്രി പാര്പ്പാനും ആഹാരം വാങ്ങുവാനും വേണ്ടി അവരെ പറഞ്ഞയക്കേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

11. But, the multitudes, getting to know, followed him; and, giving them welcome, he began speaking unto them concerning the kingdom of God, and, them that had need of cure, he healed,

12. അവന് അവരോടുനിങ്ങള് തന്നേ അവര്ക്കും ഭക്ഷിപ്പാന് കൊടുപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതിന്നുഅഞ്ചപ്പവും രണ്ടുമീനും അല്ലാതെ അധികം ഞങ്ങളുടെ പക്കല് ഇല്ല; ഞങ്ങള് പോയി ഈ സകലജനത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി ഭോജ്യങ്ങള് കൊള്ളേണമോ എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.

12. And, the day, began to decline; and the twelve, coming near, said to him Dismiss the multitude, that, going into the surrounding villages and hamlets, they may lodge, and find provisions; because, here, in a desert place, are we.

13. ഏകദേശം അയ്യായിരം പുരുഷന്മാര് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. പിന്നെ അവര് തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുഅവരെ അമ്പതു വീതം പന്തിപന്തിയായി ഇരുത്തുവിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

13. But he said unto them Give, ye, them to eat. They, however, said We have not more than five loaves, and two fishes, unless perhaps, we, should go, and buy food, for all this people.

14. അവര് അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു എല്ലാവരെയും ഇരുത്തി.

14. For there were about five thousand men. And he said unto his disciples Make them recline, in companies of about fifty each.

15. അവന് ആ അഞ്ചു അപ്പവും രണ്ടു മീനും എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തേക്കു നോക്കി അവയെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു നുറുക്കി പുരുഷാരത്തിന്നു വിളമ്പുവാന് ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ കയ്യില് കൊടുത്തു.

15. And they did so, and made, one and all, recline.

16. എല്ലാവരും തിന്നു തൃപ്തരായി, ശേഷിച്ച കഷണം പന്ത്രണ്ടു കൊട്ട എടുത്തു.

16. And, taking the five loaves, and the two fishes, looking up into heaven, he blessed them, and brake them up, and went on giving to the disciples, to set before the multitude;

17. അവന് തനിച്ചു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോള് ശിഷ്യന്മാര് കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവന് അവരോടുപുരുഷാരം എന്നെ ആരെന്നു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

17. and they did all eat and were filled. And that which remained over to them, was taken up, of broken pieces, twelve baskets.

18. യോഹന്നാന് സ്നാപകന് എന്നും ചിലര് ഏലീയാവു എന്നും മറ്റു ചിലര് പുരാതന പ്രവാചകന്മാരില് ഒരുത്തന് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്നും പറയുന്നു എന്നു അവര് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

18. And, it came to pass, when he was praying in solitude, the disciples, were with him. And he questioned them, saying Who do the multitudes say that I am?

19. അവന് അവരോടുഎന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ ആരെന്നു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നുദൈവത്തിന്റെ ക്രിസ്തു എന്നു പത്രൊസ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

19. And they, answering, said John the Immerser; But some, Elijah, and others, that, some prophet of the ancients, hath arisen.

20. ഇതു ആരോടും പറയരുതെന്നു അവന് അവരോടു അമര്ച്ചയായിട്ടു കല്പിച്ചു.

20. And he said to them But who say, ye, that I am? And, Peter, answering, said The Christ of God!

21. മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് പലതും സഹിക്കയും മൂപ്പന്മാര് മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാര് ശാസ്ത്രികള് എന്നിവര് അവനെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലുകയും അവന് മൂന്നാം നാള് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്ക്കയും വേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

21. He, however, sternly admonishing them, gave charge that, unto no one, should they be telling this;

22. പിന്നെ അവന് എല്ലാവരോടും പറഞ്ഞതുഎന്നെ അനുഗമിപ്പാന് ഒരുത്തന് ഇച്ഛിച്ചാല് അവന് തന്നെത്താന് നിഷേധിച്ചു നാള്തോറും തന്റെ ക്രൂശ് എടുത്തുംകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കട്ടെ.

22. saying The Son of Man must needs suffer, many things, and be rejected by the Elders and High priests and Scribes, and be slain, and, on the third day, arise.

23. ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിപ്പാന് ഇച്ഛിച്ചാല് അതിനെ കളയും; എന്റെ നിമിത്തം ആരെങ്കിലും തന്റെ ജീവനെ കളഞ്ഞാലോ അതിനെ രക്ഷിക്കും.

23. And he was saying, unto all If any one intendeth after me to come, Let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and be following me.

24. ഒരു മനുഷ്യന് സര്വ്വലോകവും നേടീട്ടു തന്നെത്താന് നഷ്ടമാക്കിക്കളകയോ ചേതം വരുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്താന് അവന്നു എന്തു പ്രയോജനം?

24. For, whosoever intendeth, his life, to save, shall lose it; but, whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, the same, shall save it?

25. ആരെങ്കിലും എന്നെയും എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു നാണിച്ചാല് അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് തന്റെയും പിതാവിന്റെയും വിശുദ്ധദൂതന്മാരുടെയും മഹത്വത്തില് വരുമ്പോള് നാണിക്കും.

25. For what doth a man profit, who hath gained the whole world, but hath lost, or been made to forfeit, himself?

26. എന്നാല് ദൈവരാജ്യം കാണുവോളം മരണം ആസ്വദിക്കാത്തവര് ചിലര് ഇവിടെ നില്ക്കുന്നവരില് ഉണ്ടു സത്യം എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

26. For, whosoever shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, of him, the Son of Man, will be ashamed, whensoever he shall come in his glory, and that of the Father, and of the holy messengers.

27. ഈ വാക്കുകളെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഏകദേശം എട്ടുനാള് കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള് അവന് പത്രൊസിനെയും യോഹന്നാനെയും യാക്കോബിനെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിപ്പാന് മലയില് കയറിപ്പോയി.

27. But I tell you of a truth There, are, some of those, here, standing, who shall in nowise taste of death, until they see the kingdom of God.

28. അവന് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുമ്പോള് മുഖത്തിന്റെ ഭാവം മാറി, ഉടുപ്പു മിന്നുന്ന വെള്ളയായും തിര്ന്നു.

28. And it came to pass, after these words, about eight days, taking with him Peter and John and James, he went up into the mountain to pray.

29. രണ്ടു പുരുഷന്മാര് അവനോടു സംഭാഷിച്ചു; മോശെയും ഏലീയാവും തന്നേ.

29. And it came to pass, while he was praying, that, the appearance of his face, was changed, and, his clothing, became white, effulgent.

30. അവര് തേജസ്സില് പ്രത്യക്ഷരായി അവന് യെരൂശലേമില് പ്രാപിപ്പാനുള്ള നിര്യാണത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു.

30. And lo! two men, were conversing with him, who, indeed, were Moses and Elijah,

31. പത്രൊസും കൂടെയുള്ളവരും ഉറക്കത്താല് ഭാരപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു; ഉണര്ന്നശേഷം അവന്റെ തേജസ്സിനെയും അവനോടു കൂടെ നിലക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു പുരുഷന്മാരെയും കണ്ടു.

31. who, appearing in glory, were speaking as to his departure, which he was about to fulfil in Jerusalem.

32. അവര് അവനെ വിട്ടുപിരിയുമ്പോള് പത്രൊസ് യേശുവിനോടുഗുരോ, നാം ഇവിടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു; ഞങ്ങള് മൂന്നു കുടില് ഉണ്ടാക്കട്ടെ , ഒന്നു നിനക്കും ഒന്നു മോശെക്കും ഒന്നു ഏലീയാവിന്നും എന്നു താന് പറയുന്നതു ഇന്നതു എന്നു അറിയാതെ പറഞ്ഞു.

32. Now, Peter, and they who were with him, had become heavy with sleep; but, waking up, they saw his glory, and the two men who were standing with him.

33. ഇതു പറയുമ്പോള് ഒരു മേഘം വന്നു അവരുടെമേല് നിഴലിട്ടു. അവര് മേഘത്തില് ആയപ്പോള് പേടിച്ചു.

33. And it came to pass, when they were being parted from him, Peter said unto Jesus Master! it is, delightful, for us to be, here: Let us, therefore, make three tents, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah: not knowing what he said.

34. മേഘത്തില്നിന്നുഇവന് എന്റെ പ്രിയപുത്രന് , ഇവന്നു ചെവികൊടുപ്പിന് എന്നു ഒരു ശബ്ദം ഉണ്ടായി.

34. Now, while he was saying these things, there came a cloud, and it began to overshadow them, and they were overcome with fear as they entered into the cloud.

35. ശബ്ദം ഉണ്ടായ നേരത്തു യേശുവിനെ തനിയേ കണ്ടു; അവര് കണ്ടതു ഒന്നും ആ നാളുകളില് ആരോടും അറിയിക്കാതെ മൌനമായിരുന്നു.

35. And, a voice, came out of the cloud, saying This, is my Son, the Chosen One: Unto him, be hearkening.

36. പിറ്റെന്നാള് അവര് മലയില് നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങി വന്നപ്പോള് ബഹുപുരുഷാരം അവനെ എതിരേറ്റു.

36. And, when the voice came, there was found, Jesus alone. And they held their peace, and, unto no one, reported they, in those days, any of the things which they had seen.

37. കൂട്ടത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരാള് നിലവിളിച്ചുഗുരോ, എന്റെ മകനെ കടാക്ഷിക്കേണമെന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; അവന് എനിക്കു ഏകജാതന് ആകുന്നു.

37. And it came to pass, on the next day, when they came down from the mountain, that there met him a great multitude.

38. ഒരാത്മാവു അവനെ പിടിച്ചിട്ടു അവന് പൊടുന്നനവേ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; അതു അവനെ നുരെപ്പിച്ചു പിടെപ്പിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവനെ ഞെരിച്ചിട്ടു പ്രയാസത്തോടെ വിട്ടുമാറുന്നു.

38. And lo! a man from the multitude, uttered a cry, saying Teacher! I beg of thee, to look upon my son, because, my only begotten, he is.

39. അതിനെ പുറത്താക്കുവാന് നിന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു എങ്കിലും അവര്ക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

39. And lo! a spirit, taketh him, and, suddenly, he crieth out, and it convulseth him with foaming, and with difficulty departeth from him, sorely bruising him.

40. അതിന്നു യേശുഅവിശ്വാസവും കോട്ടവുമുള്ള തലമുറയേ, എത്രത്തോളം ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നു നിങ്ങളെ സഹിക്കും? നിന്റെ മകനെ ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവരിക എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു;

40. And I begged of thy disciples, that they would cast it out, and they could not.

41. അവന് വരുമ്പോള് തന്നേ ഭൂതം അവനെ തള്ളിയിട്ടു പിടെപ്പിച്ചു. യേശു അശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ ശാസിച്ചു ബാലനെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കി, അപ്പനെ ഏല്പിച്ചു.

41. And, making answer, Jesus said O faithless and perverted generation! how long shall I be with you, and bear with you? Bring, hither, thy son.

42. എല്ലാവരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹിമയിങ്കല് വിസ്മയിച്ചു.

42. And, while yet he was coming, the demon tare him, and mangled him. But Jesus rebuked the impure spirit, and healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

43. യേശു ചെയ്യുന്നതില് ഒക്കെയും എല്ലാവരും ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടുമ്പോള് അവന് തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുനിങ്ങള് ഈ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേട്ടുകൊള്വിന് മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് മനുഷ്യരുടെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടുവാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

43. And they were all being struck with astonishment, at the majesty of God. And, while all were marvelling at all things which he was doing, he said unto his disciples:

44. ആ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേട്ടുകൊള്വിന് മനുഷ്യപുത്രന് മനുഷ്യരുടെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടുവാന് പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

44. Lay, ye, up in your ears, these words; for, the Son of Man, is about to be delivered up, into the hands of men.

45. ആ വാക്കു അവര് ഗ്രഹിച്ചില്ല; അതു തിരിച്ചറിയാതവണ്ണം അവര്ക്കും മറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു; ആ വാക്കു സംബന്ധിച്ചു അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പാന് അവര് ശങ്കിച്ചു.

45. But, they, understood not this saying, and it had become veiled from them, that they might not grasp it, and they were afraid to question him, concerning this saying.

46. അവരില്വെച്ചു ആര് വലിയവന് എന്നു ഒരു വാദം അവരുടെ ഇടയില് നടന്നു.

46. But there entered a reasoning among them, as to who of them should be greatest.

47. യേശു അവരുടെ ഹൃദയവിചാരം കണ്ടു ഒരു ശിശുവിനെ എടുത്തു അരികെ നിറുത്തി

47. And, Jesus, perceiving the reasoning of their heart, taking a child, placed it near himself,

48. ഈ ശിശുവിനെ എന്റെ നാമത്തില് ആരെങ്കിലും കൈക്കൊണ്ടാല് എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു; എന്നെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവനോ എന്നെ അയച്ചവനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നു; നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരിലും ചെറിയവനായവന് അത്രേ വലിയവന് ആകും എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

48. and said unto them Whosoever shall give welcome unto this child, on my name, unto me, giveth welcome; and, whosoever, unto me, giveth welcome, giveth welcome unto him that sent me forth. For, he who is least among you all, the same, is, great.

49. നാഥാ, ഒരുത്തന് നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് ഭൂതങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുന്നതു ഞങ്ങള് കണ്ടു; ഞങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ നിന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കായ്കയാല് അവനെ വിരോധിച്ചു എന്നു യോഹന്നാന് പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു യേശു അവനോടു

49. But John, answering, said Master! we saw some one, in thy name, casting out demons, and we forbade him, because he followeth not with us.

50. വിരോധിക്കരുതു; നിങ്ങള്ക്കു പ്രതിക്കുലമല്ലാത്തവന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അനുകൂലമല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

50. And Jesus said unto him Do not forbid; for, whosoever is not against you, is, for you.

51. അവന്റെ ആരോഹണത്തിന്നുള്ള കാലം തികയാറായപ്പോള് അവന് യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു യാത്രയാവാന് മനസ്സു ഉറപ്പിച്ചു തനിക്കു മുമ്പായി ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു.

51. And it came to pass, when the days for taking him up were on the point of being fulfilled, even he himself, set, his face, to be journeying unto Jerusalem;

52. അവര് പോയി അവന്നായി വട്ടംകൂട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു ശമര്യക്കാരുടെ ഒരു ഗ്രാമത്തില് ചെന്നു.

52. and he sent messengers before his face, and, taking their journey, they entered into a village of Samaritans, so as to prepare for him.

53. എന്നാല് അവന് യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോകുവാന് ഭാവിച്ചിരിക്കയാല് അവര് അവനെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടില്ല.

53. And they welcomed him not, because, his face, was for journeying unto Jerusalem.

54. അതു അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരായ യാക്കോബും യോഹന്നാനും കണ്ടിട്ടുകര്ത്താവേ, (ഏലിയാവു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ) ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു തീ ഇറങ്ങി അവരെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാന് ഞങ്ങള് പറയുന്നതു നിനക്കു സമ്മതമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

54. And the disciples James and John, seeing it, said Lord! wilt thou, that we bid fire come down from heaven, and destroy them?

55. അവന് തിരിഞ്ഞു അവരെ ശാസിച്ചു(നിങ്ങള് ഏതു ആത്മാവിന്നു അധീനര് എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നില്ല;

55. But, turning, he rebuked them.

56. മനുഷ്യ പുത്രന് മനുഷ്യരുടെ പ്രാണങ്ങളെ നശിപ്പിപ്പാനല്ല രക്ഷിപ്പാനത്രേ വന്നതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.) അവര് വേറൊരു ഗ്രാമത്തിലേക്കു പോയി.

56. And they journeyed into a different village.

57. അവര് വഴിപോകുമ്പോള് ഒരുത്തന് അവനോടുനീ എവിടെപോയാലും ഞാന് നിന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

57. And, as they were journeying on the road, one said unto him I will follow thee, whithersoever thou shalt depart.

58. യേശു അവനോടുകുറുനരികള്ക്കു കുഴിയും ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവജാതിക്കു കൂടും ഉണ്ടു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്നോ തല ചായിപ്പാന് സ്ഥലമില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

58. And Jesus said unto him the foxes, have, dens, and, the birds of heaven, nests; but, the Son of Man, hath not where, his head, he may recline.

59. വേറൊരുത്തനോടുഎന്നെ അനുഗമിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാറെ അവന് ഞാന് മുമ്പെ പോയി എന്റെ അപ്പനെ കുഴിച്ചിടുവാന് അനുവാദം തരേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

59. And he said unto another Be following me! But, he, said Suffer me, first, to depart, and bury my father.

60. അവന് അവനോടുമരിച്ചവര് തങ്ങളുടെ മരിച്ചവരെ കുഴിച്ചിടട്ടെ; നീയോ പോയി ദൈവരാജ്യം അറിയിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

60. And he said unto him Leave, the dead, to bury their own dead; but, thou, departing, be declaring the kingdom of God.

61. മറ്റൊരുത്തന് കര്ത്താവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കാം; ആദ്യം എന്റെ വീട്ടിലുള്ളവരോടു യാത്ര പറവാന് അനുവാദം തരേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

61. And, yet another, said I will follow thee, Lord; But, first, suffer me to bid adieu to them that are in my house.

62. യേശു അവനോടുകലപ്പെക്കു കൈ വെച്ച ശേഷം പുറകോട്ടു നോക്കുന്നവന് ആരും ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിന്നു കൊള്ളാകുന്നവനല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

62. But Jesus said unto him No one, laying the hand on a plough and looking unto the things behind, is, fit, for the kingdom of God.
