1. ഒരിക്കല് പത്രൊസും യോഹന്നാനും ഒമ്പതാം മണിനേരം പ്രാര്ത്ഥനാസമയത്തു ദൈവാലയത്തിലേകു ചെല്ലുമ്പോള്

1. Peter and Ihon wente vp together in to the temple aboute the nyenth houre to praye.

2. അമ്മയുടെ ഗര്ഭം മുതല് മുടന്തനായ ഒരാളെ ചിലര് ചുമന്നു കൊണ്ടു വന്നു; അവനെ ദൈവാലയത്തില് ചെല്ലുന്നവരോടു ഭിക്ഷ യാചിപ്പാന് സുന്ദരം എന്ന ദൈവാലയഗോപുരത്തിങ്കല് ദിനംപ്രതി ഇരുത്തുമാറുണ്ടു.

2. And there was a certayne man halt from his mothers wombe, whom they brought and layed daylie at the gate of the teple, which is called, the Bewtyfull, that he might axe almesse of them that wete in to the temple.

3. അവന് പത്രൊസും യോഹന്നാനും ദൈവാലയത്തില് കടപ്പാന് പോകുന്നതു കണ്ടിട്ടു ഭിക്ഷ ചോദിച്ചു.

3. Now whan he sawe Peter and Ihon, that they wolde in to the temple, he desyred to receaue an almesse.

4. പത്രൊസ് യോഹന്നാനോടുകൂടെ അവനെ ഉറ്റുനോക്കിഞങ്ങളെ നോകൂ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

4. Peter behelde him with Ihon, and sayde: Loke on vs.

5. അവന് വല്ലതും കിട്ടും എന്നു കരുതി അവരെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു നോക്കി.

5. And he gaue hede vnto them, hopynge to receaue some thinge of them.

6. അപ്പോള് പത്രൊസ്വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും എനിക്കില്ല; എനിക്കുള്ളതു നിനക്കു തരുന്നുനസറായനായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമത്തില് നടക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു

6. Howbeit Peter saide: Syluer and golde haue I none: but soch as I haue geue I the. In the name of Iesus Christ of Nazareth ryse vp & walke.

7. അവനെ വലങ്കൈകൂ പിടിച്ചു എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു; ക്ഷണത്തില് അവന്റെ കാലും നരിയാണിയും ഉറെച്ചു അവന് കുതിച്ചെഴുന്നേറ്റു നടന്നു;

7. And he toke him by the righte hande and lifte him vp. Immediatly his legges & ancle bones were made stroge,

8. നടന്നും തുള്ളിയും ദൈവത്തെ പുകഴ്ത്തിയും കൊണ്ടു അവരോടുകൂടെ ദൈവാലയത്തില് കടന്നു.

8. and he sprange, stode and walked, and entred with them in to the teple, walkynge, and leapinge and praysinge God.

9. അവന് നടക്കുന്നതും ദൈവത്ത പുകഴ്ത്തുന്നതും ജനം ഒക്കെയും കണ്ടു,

9. And all the people sawe him walke and prayse God.

10. ഇവന് സുന്ദരം എന്ന ദൈവാലയഗോപുരത്തിങ്കല് ഭിക്ഷ യാചിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ഇരുന്നവന് എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞു അവന്നു സംഭവിച്ചതിനെകുറിച്ചു വിസ്മയവും പരിഭ്രമവും നിറഞ്ഞവരായീതീര്ന്നു.

10. And they knewe him, yt it was he, which sat for almesse at the bewtyfull gate of the temple. And they were fylled with wondrynge, and were astonnyed at that, which had happened vnto hi.

11. അവന് പത്രൊസിനോടും യോഹന്നാനോടും ചേര്ന്നു നിലക്കുമ്പോള് ജനം എല്ലാം വിസ്മയംപൂണ്ടു ശലോമോന്റേതു എന്നു പേരുള്ള മണ്ഡപത്തില് അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് ഔടിക്കൂടി.

11. But as this halt which was healed helde him to Peter and Ihon, all the people ranne vnto them in to the porche,which is called Salomos, and wondred.

12. അതു കണ്ടിട്ടു പത്രൊസ് ജനങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതുയിസ്രായേല് പുരുഷന്മാരേ, ഇതിങ്കല് ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടുന്നത് എന്തു? ഞങ്ങളുടെ സ്വന്ത ശക്തികൊണ്ടോ ഭക്തികൊണ്ടോ ഇവനെ നടക്കുമാറാക്കി എന്നപോലെ ഞങ്ങളെ ഉറ്റു നോക്കുന്നതും എന്തു?

12. Whan Peter sawe that, he answered vnto the people: Ye men of Israel, why maruayle ye at this, or why loke ye so at vs, as though we by oure awne power or deseruynge, had made this man to walke?

13. അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെയും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെയും യാക്കോബിന്റെയും ദൈവമായ നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവം തന്റെ ദാസനായ യേശുവിനെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തി; അവനെ നിങ്ങള് ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കയും അവനെ വിട്ടയപ്പാന് വിധിച്ച പീലാത്തൊസിന്റെ മുമ്പില്വെച്ചു തള്ളിപ്പറയുകയും ചെയ്തു.

13. The God of Abraham and of Isaac, and of Iacob, ye God of oure fathers hath glorifyed his childe Iesus, whom ye delyuered and denyed in the presence of Pilate, whan he had iudged him to be lowsed.

14. പരിശുദ്ധനും നീതിമാനുമായവനെ നിങ്ങള് തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു, കുലപാതകനായവനെ വിട്ടുതരേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു, ജീവനായകനെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

14. But ye denyed the holy and iust, and desyred the murthurer to be geuen you,

15. അവനെ ദൈവം മരിച്ചവരില്നിന്നു, എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു; അതിന്നു ഞങ്ങള് സാക്ഷികള് ആകുന്നു.

15. but ye slewe the prynce of life, whom God hath raysed from the deed, of the which we are witnesses.

16. അവന്റെ നാമത്തിലെ വിശ്വാസത്താല് അവന്റെ നാമം തന്നേ നിങ്ങള് കാണ്കയും അറികയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഇവന് ബലം പ്രാപിപ്പാന് കാരണമായി തീര്ന്നു; അവന് മുഖാന്തരമുള്ള വിശ്വാസം ഇന്നു നിങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും കാണ്കെ ഈ ആരോഗ്യം വരുവാന് ഹേതുവായി തീര്ന്നു.

16. And thorow ye faith in his name, hath he confirmed his name vpon this man, whom ye se and knowe: and faith thorow him, hath geue this man this health before youre eyes.

17. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രമാണികളെപ്പോലെ നിങ്ങളും അറിയായ്മകൊണ്ടു പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

17. Now deare brethre, I knowe that ye haue done it thorow ignoraunce, as dyd also youre rulers.

18. ദൈവമോ തന്റെ ക്രിസ്തു കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കും എന്നു സകല പ്രവാചകന്മാരും മുഖാന്തരം മുന്നറിയിച്ചതു ഇങ്ങനെ നിവര്ത്തിച്ചു.

18. But God, which by the mouth of all his prophetes had shewed before, yt his Christ shulde suffre, hath so fulfilled it.

19. ആകയാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങള് മാഞ്ഞുകിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു മാനസാന്തരപ്പെട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞുകൊള്വിന് ; എന്നാല് കര്ത്താവിന്റെ സമ്മുഖത്തുനിന്നു

19. Do penaunce now therfore and turne you, that youre synnes maye be done awaye, whan the tyme of refreshinge shal come before the presence of the LORDE,

20. ആശ്വാസകാലങ്ങള് വരികയും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മുന് നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ട ക്രിസ്തുവായ യേശുവിനെ അവന് അയക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

20. and whan he shal sende him, which now before is preached vnto you, euen Iesus Christ:

21. ദൈവം ലോകാരംഭം മുതല് തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപ്രവാചകന്മാര് മുഖാന്തരം അരുളിചെയ്തതു ഒക്കെയും യഥാസ്ഥാനത്താകുന്ന കാലം വരുവോളം സ്വര്ഗ്ഗം അവനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

21. which must receaue heauen vntyll the tyme that all thinges, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophetes sence ye worlde beganne, be restored agayne.

22. “ദൈവമായ കര്ത്താവു നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരില്നിന്നു എന്നെപ്പോലെ ഒരു പ്രവാചകനെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചുതരും; അവന് നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്ന സകലത്തിലും നിങ്ങള് അവന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്കേണം.”

22. For Moses sayde vnto ye fathers: A prophet shal the LORDE youre God rayse vp vnto you, euen from amoge youre brethren, like vnto me: him shal ye heare, in all that he shal saye vnto you.

23. ആ പ്രവാചകന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്കാത്ത ഏവനും ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില് നിന്നു ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും.” എന്നു മോശെ പറഞ്ഞു വല്ലോ.

23. And it shal come to passe, what soule soeuer shal not heare the same prophet, shal be destroyed from amonge the people.

24. അത്രയുമല്ല ശമൂവേല് ആദിയായി സംസാരിച്ച പ്രവാചകന്മാര് ഒക്കെയും ഈ കാലത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു.

24. And all the prophetes from Samuel and thence forth as many as haue spoken, haue likewyse tolde of these dayes.

25. “ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലവംശങ്ങളും നിന്റെ സന്തതിയില് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടും.” എന്നു ദൈവം അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു അരുളി നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമത്തിന്റെയും പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെയും മക്കള് നിങ്ങള് തന്നേ.

25. Ye are the children of the prophetes and of the couenaunt, which God made vnto or fathers, whan he sayde vnto Abraha: Thorow yi sede shal all ye nacios of ye earth be blessed.

26. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ആദ്യമേ ദൈവം തന്റെ ദാസനായ യേശുവിനെ എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു ഔരോരുത്തനെ അവനവന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളില് നിന്നു തിരിക്കുന്നതിനാല് നിങ്ങളെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

26. First vnto you hath God raysed vp his childe Iesus, & sent hi vnto you, to blesse you yt euery one shulde turne fro his wickednesse.
