1. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മനസ്സലിവു ഔര്പ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുനിങ്ങള് ബുദ്ധിയുള്ള ആരാധനയായി നിങ്ങളുടെ ശരീരങ്ങളെ ജീവനും വിശുദ്ധിയും ദൈവത്തിന്നു പ്രസാദവുമുള്ള യാഗമായി സമര്പ്പിപ്പിന് .

1. For this reason I make request to you, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you will give your bodies as a living offering, holy, pleasing to God, which is the worship it is right for you to give him.

2. ഈ ലോകത്തിന്നു അനുരൂപമാകാതെ നന്മയും പ്രസാദവും പൂര്ണ്ണതയുമുള്ള ദൈവഹിതം ഇന്നതെന്നു തിരിച്ചറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു മനസ്സു പുതുക്കി രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടുവിന് .

2. And let not your behaviour be like that of this world, but be changed and made new in mind, so that by experience you may have knowledge of the good and pleasing and complete purpose of God.

3. ഭാവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മീതെ ഭാവിച്ചുയരാതെ ദൈവം അവനവന്നു വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ അളവു പങ്കിട്ടതുപോലെ സുബോധമാകുംവണ്ണം ഭാവിക്കേണമെന്നു ഞാന് എനിക്കു ലഭിച്ച കൃപയാല് നിങ്ങളില് ഔരോരുത്തനോടും പറയുന്നു.

3. But I say to every one of you, through the grace given to me, not to have an over-high opinion of himself, but to have wise thoughts, as God has given to every one a measure of faith.

4. ഒരു ശരീരത്തില് നമുക്കു പല അവയവങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടല്ലോ; എല്ലാ അവയവങ്ങള്ക്കും പ്രവൃത്തി ഒന്നല്ലതാനും;

4. For, as we have a number of parts in one body, but all the parts have not the same use,

5. അതുപോലെ പലരായ നാം ക്രിസ്തുവില് ഒരു ശരീരവും എല്ലാവരും തമ്മില് അവയവങ്ങളും ആകുന്നു.

5. So we, though we are a number of persons, are one body in Christ, and are dependent on one another;

6. ആകയാല് നമുക്കു ലഭിച്ച കൃപെക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം വെവ്വേറെ വരം ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു പ്രവചനം എങ്കില് വിശ്വാസത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം,

6. And having different qualities by reason of the grace given to us, such as the quality of a prophet, let it be made use of in relation to the measure of our faith;

7. ശുശ്രൂഷ എങ്കില് ശുശ്രൂഷയില്, ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നവന് എങ്കില് ഉപദേശത്തില്, പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നവന് എങ്കില്

7. Or the position of a Deacon of the church, let a man give himself to it; or he who has the power of teaching, let him make use of it;

8. പ്രബോധനത്തില്, ദാനം ചെയ്യുവന് ഏകാഗ്രതയോടെ, ഭരിക്കുന്നവന് ഉത്സാഹത്തോടെ, കരുണചെയ്യുന്നവന് പ്രസന്നതയോടെ ആകട്ടെ.

8. He who has the power of comforting, let him do so; he who gives, let him give freely; he who has the power of ruling, let him do it with a serious mind; he who has mercy on others, let it be with joy.

9. സ്നേഹം നിര്വ്യാജം ആയിരിക്കട്ടെതീയതിനെ വെറുത്തു നല്ലതിനോടു പറ്റിക്കൊള്വിന് .

9. Let love be without deceit. Be haters of what is evil; keep your minds fixed on what is good.

10. സഹോദരപ്രീതിയില് തമ്മില് സ്ഥായിപൂണ്ടു ബഹുമാനിക്കുന്നതില് അന്യോന്യം മുന്നിട്ടു കൊള്വിന് .

10. Be kind to one another with a brother's love, putting others before yourselves in honour;

11. ഉത്സാഹത്തില് മടുപ്പില്ലാതെ ആത്മാവില് എരിവുള്ളവരായി കര്ത്താവിനെ സേവിപ്പിന് .

11. Be not slow in your work, but be quick in spirit, as the Lord's servants;

12. ആശയില് സന്തോഷിപ്പിന് ;

12. Being glad in hope, quiet in trouble, at all times given to prayer,

13. കഷ്ടതയില് സഹിഷ്ണുത കാണിപ്പിന് ; പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയില് ഉറ്റിരിപ്പിന് ; വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ആവശ്യങ്ങളില് കൂട്ടായ്മ കാണിക്കയും അതിഥിസല്ക്കാരം ആചരിക്കയും ചെയ്വിന് .

13. Giving to the needs of the saints, ready to take people into your houses.

14. നിങ്ങളെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നവരെ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പിന് ; ശപിക്കാതെ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പിന് .

14. Give blessing and not curses to those who are cruel to you.

15. സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ സന്തോഷിക്കയും കരയുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ കരകയും ചെയ്വിന് .

15. Take part in the joy of those who are glad, and in the grief of those who are sorrowing.

16. തമ്മില് ഐകമത്യമുള്ളവരായി വലിപ്പം ഭാവിക്കാതെ എളിയവരോടു ചേര്ന്നുകൊള്വിന് ; നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാര് എന്നു വിചാരിക്കരുതു.

16. Be in harmony with one another. Do not have a high opinion of yourselves, but be in agreement with common people. Do not give yourselves an air of wisdom.

18. As far as it is possible for you be at peace with all men.

19. പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, നിങ്ങള് തന്നേ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യാതെ ദൈവകോപത്തിന്നു ഇടംകൊടുപ്പിന് ; പ്രതികാരം എനിക്കുള്ളതു; ഞാന് പകരം ചെയ്യും എന്നു കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു, എന്നാല്

19. Do not give punishment for wrongs done to you, dear brothers, but give way to the wrath of God; for it is said in the holy Writings, Punishment is mine, I will give reward, says the Lord.
