1. എന്നാല് ശക്തരായ നാം അശക്തരുടെ ബലഹീനതകളെ ചുമക്കുകയും നമ്മില് തന്നേ പ്രസാദിക്കാതിരിക്കയും വേണം.

1. We that are stronge ought to beare ye fraylnesse of them which are weake, and not to stonde in oure awne consaytes.

2. നമ്മില് ഔരോരുത്തന് കൂട്ടുകാരനെ നന്മെക്കായിട്ടു ആത്മിക വര്ദ്ധനെക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കേണം.

2. Let euery one of vs ordre himselfe so, that he please his neghboure vnto his welth, and edifienge:

3. “നിന്നെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നവരുടെ നിന്ദ എന്റെ മേല് വീണു” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുതു പോലെ ക്രിസ്തുവും തന്നില് തന്നേ പ്രസാദിച്ചില്ല.

3. For Christ pleased not himselfe, but as it is wrytten: The rebukes of them which rebuked the, are fallen vpon me.

4. എന്നാല് മുന്നെഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും നമ്മുടെ ഉപദേശത്തിന്നായിട്ടു, നമുക്കു തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളാല് ഉളവാകുന്ന സ്ഥിരതയാലും ആശ്വാസത്താലും പ്രത്യാശ ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

4. What so euer thinges are wrytte afore tyme, are wrytten for oure learnynge, that we thorow pacience and comforte off the scriptures, might haue hope.

5. The God of pacience and consolacion graunte you to be like mynded one towarde another, acordinge vnto Iesu Christ,

6. that ye beynge of one mynde, maye wt one mouth prayse God the father of oure LORDE Iesu Christ.

7. അതുകൊണ്ടു ക്രിസ്തു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്നായി നിങ്ങളെ കൈക്കൊണ്ടതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളും അന്യോന്യം കൈക്കൊള്വിന് .

7. Wherfore receaue ye one another, as Christ hath receaued you to the prayse off God.

8. പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും ലഭിച്ച വാഗ്ദത്തങ്ങളെ ഉറപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

8. But I saye that Christ Iesus was a mynister of the circumcision for the trueth of God, to cofirme the promyses made vnto the fathers,

9. ക്രിസ്തു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സത്യംനിമിത്തം പരിച്ഛേദനെക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷക്കാരനായിത്തീര്ന്നു എന്നും ജാതികള് ദൈവത്തെ അവന്റെ കരുണനിമിത്തം മഹത്വീകരിക്കേണം എന്നും ഞാന് പറയുന്നു.

9. and that the Heythen mighte prayse God because of mercy, as it is wrytten: For this cause wyl I prayse the amoge the Getyles, and synge vnto thy name.

10. “അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തി നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു സ്തുതി പാടും”

10. And agayne he sayeth: Reioyse ye Heythen with his people.

11. എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നവല്ലോ. മറ്റൊരേടത്തു“ജാതികളേ, അവന്റെ ജനത്തൊടു ഒന്നിച്ചു ആനന്ദിപ്പിന്” എന്നും പറയുന്നു. “സകല ജാതികളുമായുള്ളോരേ, കര്ത്താവിനെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് , സകല വംശങ്ങളും അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ” എന്നും പറയുന്നു.

11. And agayne: Prayse the LORDE all ye Gentiles, and laude him all ye nacios.

12. “യിശ്ശയിയുടെ വേരും ജാതികളെ ഭരിപ്പാന് എഴുന്നേലക്കുന്നവനുമായവന് ഉണ്ടാകും; അവനില് ജാതികള് പ്രത്യാശവേക്കും”

12. And agayne Esay sayeth: There shalbe the rote of Iesse, and he that shal ryse to rule the Gentyles, in him shal the Gentyles trust.

13. എന്നു യെശയ്യാവു പറയുന്നു. എന്നാല് പ്രത്യാശ നലകുന്ന ദൈവം പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ ശക്തിയാല് നിങ്ങള് പ്രത്യാശയില് സമൃദ്ധിയുള്ളവരായി വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നതിലുള്ള സകല സന്തോഷവും സമാധാനവുംകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ നിറെക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ.

13. The God off hope fyll you wt all ioye and peace in beleuynge, yt ye maye be plenteous in hope thorow ye power of the holy goost.

14. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് തന്നേ ദയാപൂര്ണ്ണരും സകല ജ്ഞാനവും നിറഞ്ഞവരും അന്യോന്യം പ്രബോധിപ്പിപ്പാന് പ്രാപ്തരും ആകുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. I my selfe am full certified of you (my brethren) that ye youre selues are full of goodnes, fylled with all knowlege, so that ye are able to exhorte one another.

15. എങ്കിലും ജാതികള് എന്ന വഴിപാടു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാല് വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു പ്രസാദകരമായിത്തീരുവാന് ഞാന് ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സുവിശേഷഘോഷണം പുരോഹിതനായി അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ജാതികളില് ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകനായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു

15. Neuertheles (brethre) I haue somwhat more boldly wrytten vnto you, as one that putteth you in remembraunce, for the grace that is geue me of God,

16. ദൈവം എനിക്കു നല്കിയ കൃപ നിമിത്തം നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്മ്മപ്പെടുത്തുംവണ്ണം ഞാന് ചിലേടത്തു അതിധൈര്യമായി നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

16. that I shulde be a mynister of Iesu Christ amonge the Heythen, to declare the gospell of God, that the Heythen mighte be an acceptable offerynge vnto God, sanctified by the holy goost.

17. ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് എനിക്കു ദൈവസംബന്ധമായി പ്രശംസ ഉണ്ടു.

17. Therfore maye I boost myselfe thorow Iesu Christ, that I medle with thinges perteyninge vnto God.

18. ക്രിസ്തു ഞാന് മുഖാന്തരം ജാതികളുടെ അനുസരണത്തിന്നായിട്ടു വചനത്താലും പ്രവൃത്തിയാലും അടയാളങ്ങളുടെയും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളുടെയും ശക്തികൊണ്ടും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിന്റെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടും പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചതു അല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നും മിണ്ടുവാന് ഞാന് തുനിയുകയില്ല.

18. For I durst not speake ought, excepte Christ had wroughte the same by me, to make the Heythen obediet thorow worde and dede,

19. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് യെരൂശലേം മുതല് ഇല്ലുര്യ്യദേശത്തോളം ചുറ്റിസഞ്ചരിച്ചു ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ സുവിശേഷഘോഷണം പൂരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. thorow the power of tokens and wonders, and thorow the power of the sprete of God, so that from Ierusale, and roude aboute vnto Illyricon, I haue fylled all with the Gospell of Christ.

20. ഞാന് മറ്റൊരുവന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിന്മേല് പണിയാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമം അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ള ഇടത്തിലല്ല,

20. So haue I enforced myselfe to preach ye Gospell, not where Christes name was knowne, lest I shulde buylde on another mans foundacion,

21. “അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു അറിവുകിട്ടീട്ടില്ലാത്തവര് കാണും; കേട്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്തവര് ഗ്രഹിക്കും” എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുതുപോലെ അത്രേ, സുവിശേഷം അറിയിപ്പാന് അഭിമാനിക്കുന്നതു.

21. but as it is wrytten: To whom he was not spoken of, they shal se: and they that haue not herde, shal vnderstonde.

22. അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വരുന്നതിന്നു പലപ്പോഴും മുടക്കം വന്നു.

22. This is also the cause, wherfore I haue bene oft tymes let to come vnto you.

23. ഇപ്പോഴോ എനിക്കു ഈ ദിക്കുകളില് ഇനി സ്ഥലമില്ലായ്കയാലും അങ്ങോട്ടു വരുവാന് അനേകസംവത്സരമായി വാഞ്ഛ ഉണ്ടാകകൊണ്ടും,

23. But now syth I haue nomore place in these countrees, hauynge yet a desyre many yeares sence to come vnto you,

24. ഞാന് സ്പാന്യയിലേക്കു യാത്ര ചെയ്യുമ്പോള് പോകുന്ന വഴിക്കു നിങ്ങളെ കാണ്മാനും ആദ്യം നിങ്ങളെ കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിച്ചശേഷം നിങ്ങളാല് യാത്ര അയക്കപ്പെടുവാനും ആശിക്കുന്നു.

24. whan I shal take my iourney in to Spayne, I wil come to you: for I trust that I shal passe yt waye and se you, and to be broughte on my waye thitherwarde by you: but so, that I first refresh my selfe a litle with you.

25. ഇപ്പോഴോ ഞാന് വിശുദ്ധന്മാര്ക്കും ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്വാന് യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു യാത്രയാകുന്നു.

25. But now go I to Ierusalem, to mynister vnto the sayntes.

26. യെരൂശലേമിലെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരില് ദരിദ്രരായവര്ക്കും ഏതാനും ധര്മ്മോപകാരം ചെയ്വാന് മക്കെദോന്യയിലും അഖായയിലും ഉള്ളവര്ക്കും ഇഷ്ടം തോന്നി.

26. For they of Macedonia and Achaia haue wyllingly prepared a commen colleccion together, for the poore sayntes at Ierusalem.

27. അവര്ക്കും ഇഷ്ടം തോന്നി എന്നു മാത്രമല്ല, അതു അവര്ക്കും കടവും ആകുന്നു; ജാതികള് അവരുടെ ആത്മികനന്മകളില് കൂട്ടാളികള് ആയെങ്കില് ഐഹികനന്മകളില് അവര്ക്കും ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്വാന് കടമ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

27. They haue done it wyllingly, and their detters are they. For yf ye Heythen be made partakers off their spiritual thinges, their dutye is to mynister vnto the in bodely thinges.

28. ഞാന് അതു നിവര്ത്തിച്ചു ഈ ഫലം അവര്ക്കും ഏല്പിച്ചു ബോദ്ധ്യം വരുത്തിയ ശേഷം നിങ്ങളുടെ വഴിയായി സ്പാന്യയിലേക്കു പോകും.

28. Now whan I haue perfourmed this, and haue broughte the this frute sealed, I wil take my iourney by you in to Spayne.

29. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വരുമ്പോള് ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹപൂര്ത്തിയോടെ വരും എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

29. But I am sure whan I come vnto you, that I shal come with ye full blessynge of the Gospell of Christ.

30. എന്നാല് സഹോദരന്മാരേ, യെഹൂദ്യയിലെ അവിശ്വാസികളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു ഞാന് കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്ന സഹായം വിശുദ്ധന്മാര്ക്കും

30. I beseke you brethren thorow oure LORDE Iesu Christ, and thorow the loue of the sprete, yt ye helpe me in my busynes with youre prayers vnto God for me,

31. പ്രസാദമായിത്തീരേണ്ടതിന്നും ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാന് ദൈവവേഷ്ടത്താല് സന്തോഷത്തോടെ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല് വന്നു നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ മനം തണുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങള് എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി ദൈവത്തോടുള്ള പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയില് എന്നോടുകൂടെ പോരാടേണം

31. that I maye be delyuered from the vnbeleuers in Iewrye and that this my seruyce which I do to Ierusalem, maye be accepted of the sayntes,

32. എന്നു നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശു ക്രിസ്തുവിനെയും ആത്മാവിന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തെയും ഔര്പ്പിച്ചു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

32. yt I maye come vnto you with ioye by ye wyll of God, and refreshe my selfe with you.

33. സമാധാനത്തിന്റെ ദൈവം നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരോടും കൂടെ ഇരിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ. ആമേന് .
