1. പിന്നെ ഏഴു കലശമുള്ള ഏഴു ദൂതന്മാരില് ഒരുവന് വന്നു എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചുവരിക, ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാരോടു വേശ്യാവൃത്തി ചെയ്തു തന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയുടെ മദ്യത്താല്

1. And one of the seven angels having the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying to me, Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot sitting on the many waters,

3. And he carried me away into a desert, by the Spirit. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, filled with names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

4. ആ സ്ത്രീ ധൂമ്രവര്ണ്ണവും കടുഞ്ചുവപ്പു നിറവും ഉള്ള വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു പൊന്നും രത്നവും മുത്തും അണിഞ്ഞവളായി തന്റെ വേശ്യവൃത്തിയുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛതയും അശുദ്ധിയും നിറഞ്ഞ സ്വര്ണ്ണപാനപാത്രം കയ്യില് പിടിച്ചിരുന്നു.

4. And the woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and being gilded with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominations and unclean things of her fornication.

5. And on her forehead was a name having been written: Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of the Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth.

6. വിശുദ്ധന്മാരുടെ രക്തവും യേശുവിന്റെ സാക്ഷികളുടെ രക്തവും കുടിച്ചു സ്ത്രീ മത്തയായിരിക്കുന്നതു ഞാന് കണ്ടു; അവളെ കണ്ടിട്ടു അത്യന്തം ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെട്ടു.

6. And I saw the woman being drunk from the blood of the saints, and from the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. And I marveled, seeing her, with a great marveling.

7. ദൂതന് എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനീ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടുന്നതു എന്തു? ഈ സ്ത്രീയുടെയും ഏഴു തലയും പത്തു കൊമ്പും ഉള്ളതായി അവളെ ചുമക്കുന്ന മൃഗത്തിന്റെയും മര്മ്മം ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞുതരാം.

7. And the angel said to me, Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast supporting her, the one having the seven heads and the ten horns.

8. നീ കണ്ട മൃഗമോ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതും ഇപ്പോള് ഇല്ലാത്തതും ഇനി അഗാധത്തില്നിന്നു കയറി നാശത്തിലേക്കു പോകുവാന് ഇരിക്കുന്നതും ആകുന്നു; ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതും ഇല്ലാത്തതും വരുവാനുള്ളതുമായ മൃഗത്തെ ലോകസ്ഥാപനം മുതല് ജീവപുസ്തകത്തില് പേര് എഴുതാതിരിക്കുന്ന ഭൂവാസികള് കണ്ടു അതിശയിക്കും.

8. The beast which you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss, and goes to perdition. And those dwelling on the earth will marvel, the ones whose names have not been written on the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, seeing the beast, that it was a thing, and is not, yet now is.

9. ഇവിടെ ജ്ഞാന ബുദ്ധി ഉണ്ടു; തല ഏഴും സ്ത്രീ ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഏഴു മലയാകുന്നു.

9. Here is the mind having wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains, where the woman sits on them.

10. അവ ഏഴു രാജാക്കന്മാരും ആകുന്നു; അഞ്ചുപേര് വീണുപോയി; ഒരുത്തന് ഉണ്ടു; മറ്റവന് ഇതുവരെ വന്നിട്ടില്ല; വന്നാല് പിന്നെ അവന് കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

10. And the kings are seven. The five fell, and the one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he does come, he must remain a little.

11. ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതും ഇല്ലാത്തതുമായ മൃഗം എട്ടാമത്തവനും എഴുവരില് ഉള്പ്പെട്ടവനും തന്നേ; അവന് നാശത്തിലേക്കു പോകുന്നു.

11. And the beast which was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes to perdition.

12. നീ കണ്ട പത്തു കൊമ്പു പത്തു രാജാക്കന്മാര്; അവര് ഇതുവരെ രാജത്വം പ്രാപിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; മൃഗത്തോടു ഒന്നിച്ചു ഒരു നാഴിക നേരത്തേക്കു രാജാക്കന്മാരേപ്പോലെ അധികാരം പ്രാപിക്കും താനും.

12. And the ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but will receive authority as kings one hour with the beast.

13. ഇവര് ഒരേ അഭിപ്രായമുള്ളവര്; തങ്ങളുടെ ശക്തിയും അധികാരവും മൃഗത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നു.

13. These have one mind, and their power and authority they shall give up to the beast.

14. അവര് കുഞ്ഞാടിനോടു പോരാടും; താന് കര്ത്താധികര്ത്താവും രാജാധിരാജാവും ആകകൊണ്ടു കുഞ്ഞാടു തന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവരും വിശ്വസ്തരുമായി അവരെ ജയിക്കും.

14. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and the ones with Him are the called and elect and faithful ones.

16. നീ കണ്ട പത്തു കൊമ്പും മൃഗവും വേശ്യയെ ദ്വേഷിച്ചു ശൂന്യവും നഗ്നവുമാക്കി അവളുടെ മാംസം തിന്നുകളയും; അവളെ തീകൊണ്ടു ദഹിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

16. And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, and will make her desolated and naked. And they will eat her flesh, and will burn her down with fire.

17. For God gave into their hearts to do His mind, and to act in one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the Words of God shall be fulfilled.

18. നീ കണ്ട സ്ത്രീയോ ഭൂരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ മേല് രാജത്വമുള്ള മഹാനഗരം തന്നേ.
