1. മനുഷ്യന് ഭൂമിയില് പെരുകിത്തുടങ്ങി അവര്ക്കും പുത്രിമാര് ജനിച്ചപ്പോള്
1 പത്രൊസ് 3:20

1. So whan men beganne to multiplie vpon the earth, and had begot them doughters,

2. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് മനുഷ്യരുടെ പുത്രിമാരെ സൌന്ദര്യമുള്ളവരെന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു തങ്ങള്ക്കു ബോധിച്ച ഏവരെയും ഭാര്യമാരായി എടുത്തു.

2. the children of God sawe the doughters of men, that they were fayre, and toke vnto the wyues soch as they liked.

3. അപ്പോള് യഹോവമനുഷ്യനില് എന്റെ ആത്മാവു സദാകാലവും വാദിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കയില്ല; അവന് ജഡം തന്നേയല്ലോ; എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ കാലം നൂറ്റിരുപതു സംവത്സരമാകും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

3. Then sayde ye LORDE: My sprete shal not allwaye stryue with man, for he is but flesh also. I wil yet geue him respyte an hundreth and twety yeares.

4. അക്കാലത്തു ഭൂമിയില് മല്ലന്മാര് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ശേഷവും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് മനുഷ്യരുടെ പുത്രിമാരുടെ അടുക്കല് ചെന്നിട്ടു അവര് മക്കളെ പ്രസവിച്ചു; ഇവരാകുന്നു പുരാതനകാലത്തെ വീരന്മാര്, കീര്ത്തിപ്പെട്ട പുരുഷന്മാര് തന്നേ.

4. There were giauntes also in the worlde at that tyme. For whan the children of God had lyen with the daughters of men, and begotten them children, ye same (children) became mightie in the worlde, and men of renowne.

5. ഭൂമിയില് മനുഷ്യന്റെ ദുഷ്ടത വലിയതെന്നും അവന്റെ ഹൃദയവിചാരങ്ങളുടെ നിരൂപണമൊക്കെയും എല്ലായ്പോഴും ദോഷമുള്ളതത്രേ എന്നും യഹോവ കണ്ടു.

5. But whan the LORDE sawe yt the wickednes of man was increased vpon ye earth, and that all ye thought and imaginacion of their hert was but onely euell contynually,

6. താന് ഭൂമിയില് മനുഷ്യനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുകകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ അനുതപിച്ചു; അതു അവന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്നു ദുഃഖമായി

6. it repented him, that he had made man vpon the earth, and he sorowed in his hert,

7. ഞാന് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള മനുഷ്യനെ ഭൂമിയില് നിന്നു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും; മനുഷ്യനെയും മൃഗത്തെയും ഇഴജാതിയെയും ആകാശത്തിലെ പക്ഷികളെയും തന്നേ; അവയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുകകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അനുതപിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

7. and sayde: I wyll destroye man kynde which I haue made, from the earth: both man, beest, worme, and foule vnder the heauen: for it repenteth me, that I haue made them.

8. എന്നാല് നോഹെക്കു യഹോവയുടെ കൃപ ലഭിച്ചു.

8. Neuertheles Noe founde grace in the sight of the LORDE.

9. നോഹയുടെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യം എന്തെന്നാല്നോഹ നീതിമാനും തന്റെ തലമുറയില് നിഷ്കളങ്കനുമായിരുന്നു; നോഹ ദൈവത്തോടുകൂടെ നടന്നു.

9. This is ye generacion of Noe. Noe was a righteous and parfecte ma, and led a godly life in his tyme,

10. ശേം, ഹാം, യാഫെത്ത് എന്ന മൂന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെ നോഹ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

10. and begat thre sonnes: Sem, Ham and Iaphet.

11. എന്നാല് ഭൂമി ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വഷളായി; ഭൂമി അതിക്രമംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

11. Notwithstondinge ye earth was corrupte in ye sight of God, and full of myschefe.

12. ദൈവം ഭൂമിയെ നോക്കി, അതു വഷളായി എന്നു കണ്ടു; സകലജഡവും ഭൂമിയില് തന്റെ വഴി വഷളാക്കിയിരുന്നു.

12. Then God loked vpon ye earth: and lo, it was corrupte (for all flesh had corrupte his waye vpon the earth.)

13. ദൈവം നോഹയോടു കല്പിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാല്സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും അവസാനം എന്റെ മുമ്പില് വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമി അവരാല് അതിക്രമംകൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് അവരെ ഭൂമിയോടുകൂടെ നശിപ്പിക്കും.

13. Then sayde God vnto Noe: The. ende of all flesh is come before me, for the earth is full of myschefe before them. And lo, I wyll destroye them with the earth.

14. നീ ഗോഫര്മരംകൊണ്ടു ഒരു പെട്ടകംഉണ്ടാക്കുക; പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു അറകള് ഉണ്ടാക്കി, അകത്തും പുറത്തും കീല് തേക്കേണം.

14. Make the an Arcke of Pyne tre, and make chambers in it, and pitch it within and without with pitch

15. അതു ഉണ്ടാക്കേണ്ടതു എങ്ങനെ എന്നാല്പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ നീളം മുന്നൂറു മുഴം; വീതി അമ്പതു മുഴം; ഉയരം മുപ്പതു മുഴം.

15. and make it after this fashion: The length shal be thre hundreth cubites, the bredth fiftie cubites, and the heyght thirtie cubites.

16. പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു കിളിവാതില് ഉണ്ടാക്കേണം; മേല്നിന്നു ഒരു മുഴം താഴെ അതിനെ വെക്കേണം; പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ വാതില് അതിന്റെ വശത്തുവെക്കേണംതാഴത്തെയും രണ്ടാമത്തെയും മൂന്നാമത്തെയും തട്ടായി അതിനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കേണം.

16. A wyndow shalt thou make aboue of a cubyte greate: but the dore shalt thou set in the myddest in the syde of it: And the Arke shalt thou make with thre loftes one aboue another.

17. ആകാശത്തിന് കീഴില്നിന്നു ജീവശ്വാസമുള്ള സര്വ്വജഡത്തെയും നശിപ്പിപ്പാന് ഞാന് ഭൂമിയില് ഒരു ജലപ്രളയം വരുത്തും; ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും നശിച്ചുപോകും.

17. For lo, I wyll bringe a floude of water vpon the earth, to destroye all flesh (wherin the breth of life is) vnder the heaue: All that is vpon earth, shal perishe.

18. നിന്നോടോ ഞാന് ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്യും; നീയും നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും ഭാര്യയും പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരും പെട്ടകത്തില് കടക്കേണം.

18. But with the wyll I make a couenaunt, and thou shalt go in to the Arcke with thy sonnes, with thy wyfe, and with thy sonnes wyues.

19. സകല ജീവികളില്നിന്നും, സര്വ്വജഡത്തില്നിന്നും തന്നേ, ഈരണ്ടീരണ്ടിനെ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ജീവരക്ഷെക്കായിട്ടു പെട്ടകത്തില് കയറ്റേണം; അവ ആണും പെണ്ണുമായിരിക്കേണം.

19. And of all creatures what so euer flesh it be, thou shalt bringe into the Arcke, euen a payre: the male and the female, that they maye lyue wt the:

20. അതതു തരം പക്ഷികളില്നിന്നും അതതു തരം മൃഗങ്ങളില്നിന്നും ഭൂമിയിലെ അതതു തരം ഇഴജാതികളില്നിന്നൊക്കെയും ഈരണ്ടീരണ്ടു ജീവ രക്ഷെക്കായിട്ടു നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വരേണം.

20. Of foules after their kynde, of beastes after their kynde, and of all maner wormes of the earth after their kinde. Of euery one of these shal there a payre go in vnto the, that they maye lyue.

21. നീയോ സകലഭക്ഷണസാധനങ്ങളില്നിന്നും വേണ്ടുന്നതു എടുത്തു സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം; അതു നിനക്കും അവേക്കും ആഹാരമായിരിക്കേണം.

21. And thou shalt take vnto the all maner of meate that maye be eaten, and shalt laye it vp in stoare by the, that it maye be meate for the and them.

22. ദൈവം തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതൊക്കെയും നോഹ ചെയ്തു; അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ അവന് ചെയ്തു.

22. And Noe dyd acordinge to all that God commaunded him.
