1. Adam, Sheth, Enosh,

2. കേനാന് , മഹലലേല്, യാരേദ്,

2. Kenan, Mahalaleel, Iered,

3. ഹനോക്, മെഥൂശേലഹ്, ലാമെക്, നോഹ,

3. Henoch, Methushelah, Lamech,

4. ശേം, ഹാം, യാഫെത്ത്. യാഫെത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്

4. Noah, She, Ham, and Iapheth.

5. ഗോമെര്, മാഗോഗ്, മാദായി, യാവാന് , തൂബാല്

5. The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

6. മേശെക്, തീരാസ്. ഗോമെരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്അശ്കേനസ്, രീഫത്ത്, തോഗര്മ്മാ.

6. And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashchenaz, and Iphath and Togarmah.

7. യാവാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്എലീശാ, തര്ശീശ്, കിത്തീം, ദോദാനീം.

7. Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.

8. ഹാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്കൂശ്, മിസ്രയീം, പൂത്ത്, കനാന് .

8. The sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, Put and Canaan.

9. കൂശിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്സെബാ, ഹവീലാ, സബ്താ, രമാ, സബെഖാ. രമയുടെ പുത്രന്മാര്ശെബാ, ദെദാന് .

9. And the sonnes of Cush, Siba and Hauilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. Also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.

10. കൂശ് നിമ്രോദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. അവന് ഭൂമിയില് ആദ്യത്തെ വീരനായിരുന്നു.

10. And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.

11. മിസ്രയീമോലൂദീം, അനാമീം, ലെഹാബീം,

11. And Mizraim begate Ludim and Anamim, Lehabim, and Naphtuhim:

12. നഫ്തൂഹീം, പത്രൂസീം, കസ്ളൂഹീം,--ഇവരില് നിന്നു ഫെലിസ്ത്യര് ഉത്ഭവിച്ചു--കഫ്തോരീം എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

12. Pathrusim also, and Casluhim, of whome came the Philistims, and Caphtorim.

13. കനാന് തന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ സീദോന് ,

13. Also Canaan begate Zidon his first borne, and Heth,

14. ഹേത്ത്, യെബൂസി, അമോരി,

14. And the Iebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

15. ഗിര്ഗ്ഗശി, ഹിവ്വി, അര്ക്കി, സീനി, അര്വ്വാദി,

15. And the Hiuuite, and the Arkite, and the Simite,

16. സെമാരി, ഹമാത്തി എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

16. And the Aruadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

17. ശേമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ഏലാം, അശ്ശൂര്, അര്പ്പക്ഷദ്, ലൂദ്, അരാം, ഊസ്, ഹൂള്, ഗേഥെര്, മേശെക്.

17. The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Vz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

18. അര്പ്പക്ഷദ് ശേലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ശേലഹ് ഏബെരിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

18. Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.

19. ഏബെരിന്നു രണ്ടു പുത്രന്മാര് ജനിച്ചു; ഒരുത്തന്നു പേലെഗ് എന്നു പേര്; അവന്റെ കാലത്തായിരുന്നു ഭൂവാസികള് പിരിഞ്ഞുപോയതു; അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്നു യൊക്താന് എന്നു പേര്.

19. Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was ye earth deuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.

20. യൊക്താനോഅല്മോദാദ്,ശേലെഫ്, ഹസര്മ്മാവെത്ത്,

20. Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazermaueth and Ierah,

21. , 22 യാരഹ്, ഹദോരാം, ഊസാല്, ദിക്ളാ, എബാല്,

21. And Hadoram and Vzal and Diklah,

22. അബീമായേല്, ശെബാ, ഔഫീര്, ഹവീലാ, യോബാബ് എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഇവരെല്ലാവരും യൊക്താന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്.

22. And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

23. , 25 ശേം, അര്പ്പക്ഷദ്, ശേലഹ്, ഏബെര്, പേലെഗ്,

23. And Ophir, and Hauilah and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.

24. രെയൂ, ശെരൂഗ്, നാഹോര്, തേരഹ്, അബ്രാം;

24. Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,

25. ഇവന് തന്നേ അബ്രാഹാം.

25. Eber, Peleg, Rehu,

26. അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്യിസ്ഹാക്, യിശ്മായേല്.

26. Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27. അവരുടെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യമാവിതുയിശ്മായേലിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതന് നെബായോത്ത്,

27. Abram, which is Abraham.

28. കേദാര്, അദ്ബെയേല്, മിബ്ശാം, മിശ്മാ, ദൂമാ,

28. The sonnes of Abraham were Izhak, and Ishmael.

29. മസ്സാ, ഹദദ്, തേമാ, യെതൂര്, നാഫീഷ്, കേദമാ; ഇവര് യിശ്മായേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്.

29. These are their generations. The eldest sonne of Ishmael was Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

30. അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ വെപ്പാട്ടിയായ കെതൂരയുടെ പുത്രന്മാര്സിമ്രാന് , യൊക്ശാന് , മേദാന് , മിദ്യാന് , യിശ്ബാക്, ശൂവഹ് എന്നിവരെ അവള് പ്രസവിച്ചു. യോക്ശാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ശെബാ, ദെദാന് .

30. Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,

31. മിദ്യാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ഏഫാ, ഏഫെര്, ഹനോക്, അബീദാ, എല്ദായാ; ഇവരെല്ലാവരും കെതൂരയുടെ പുത്രന്മാര്.

31. Ietur, Naphish and Kedemah: these are the sonnes of Ishmael.

32. അബ്രാഹാം യിസ്ഹാക്കിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് ഏശാവ്, യിസ്രായേല്.

32. And Keturah Abrahams concubine bare sonnes, Zimran, and Iokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah: and the sonnes of Iokshan, Sheba, and Dedan.

33. ഏശാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്എലീഫാസ്, രെയൂവേല്, യെയൂശ്, യലാം, കോരഹ്.

33. And the sonnes of Midian were Ephah, and Ephar, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah: All these are the sonnes of Keturah.

34. എലീഫാസിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്തേമാന് , ഔമാര്, സെഫീ, ഗഥാം, കെനസ്, തിമ്നാ, അമാലേക്.

34. And Abraham begate Izhak: the sonnes of Izhak, Esau, and Israel.

35. രെയൂവേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്നഹത്ത്, സേറഹ്, ശമ്മാ, മിസ്സാ.

35. The sonnes of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, and Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.

36. സേയീരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ലോതാന് , ശോബാല്, സിബെയോന് , അനാ, ദീശോന് , ഏസെര്, ദീശാന് .

36. The sonnes of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

37. ലോതാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ഹോരി, ഹോമാം; തിമ്നാ ലോതാന്റെ സഹോദരി ആയിരുന്നു.

37. The sonnes of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.

38. ശോബാലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്അലീയാന് , മാനഹത്ത്, ഏബാല്, ശെഫി, ഔനാം. സിബേയോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്അയ്യാ, അനാ.

38. And the sonnes of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

39. അനയുടെ പുത്രന്മാര്ദീശോന് . ദീശോന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ഹമ്രാന് , എശ്ബാല്, യിത്രാന് , കെരാന് .

39. And the sonnes of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, and Timna Lotans sister.

40. ഏസെരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ബില്ഹാന് , സാവാന് , യാക്കാന് . ദീശാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്ഊസ്, അരാന് .

40. The sonnes of Shobal were Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sonnes of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.

41. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ രാജാവു വാഴുംമുമ്പെ ഏദോംദേശത്തു വാണ രാജാക്കന്മാര് ആരെന്നാല്ബെയോരിന്റെ മകനായ ബേല; അവന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു ദിന് ഹാബാ എന്നു പേര്.

41. The sonne of Anah was Dishon. And the sonnes of Dishon, Amran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

42. ബേല മരിച്ചശേഷം ബൊസ്രക്കാരനായ സേരഹിന്റെ മകന് യോബാബ് അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.

42. The sonnes of Ezer were Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Iaakan. The sonnes of Dishon were Vz, and Aran.

43. യോബാബ് മരിച്ചശേഷം തേമാദേശക്കാരനായ ഹൂശാം അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.

43. And these were the Kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before a King reigned ouer the children of Israel, to wit, Bela the sonne of Beor, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.

44. ഹൂശാം മരിച്ചശേഷം ബദദിന്റെ മകന് ഹദദ് അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി; അവന് മോവാബ് സമഭൂമിയില് മിദ്യാനെ തോല്പിച്ചു; അവന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു അവീത്ത് എന്നു പേര്.

44. Then Bela died, and Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

45. ഹദദ് മരിച്ചശേഷം മസ്രേക്കക്കാരനായ സമ്ളാഅവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.

45. And whe Iobab was dead, Hussham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

46. സമ്ളാ മരിച്ചശേഷം നദീതീരത്തുള്ള രെഹോബോത്ത് പട്ടണക്കാരനായ ശൌല് അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.

46. And when Hussham was dead, Hadad the sonne of Bedad which smote Midian in the fielde of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.

47. ശൌല് മരിച്ചശേഷം അക്ബോരിന്റെ മകന് ബാല്ഹാനാന് അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി.

47. So Hadad dyed, and Samlah of Mashrecah reigned in his stead.

48. ബാല്ഹാനാന് മരിച്ചശേഷം ഹദദ് അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി. അവന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു പായീ എന്നും ഭാര്യെക്കു മെഹേതബേല് എന്നും പേര്. അവള് മേസാഹാബിന്റെ മകളായ മത്രേദിന്റെ മകളായിരുന്നു.

48. And Samlah dyed, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer reigned in his stead.

49. ഹദദും മരിച്ചു. ഏദോമ്യ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരാവിതുതിമ്നാ പ്രഭു, അല്യാപ്രഭു, യെഥേത്ത് പ്രഭു,

49. And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his stead.

50. And Baal-hanan dyed, and Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pai, and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mezahab.

51. പീനോന് പ്രഭു, കെനസ്പ്രഭു, തേമാന് പ്രഭു,

51. Hadad dyed also, and there were dukes in Edom, duke Timna, duke Aliah, duke Ietheth,

52. മിബ്സാര്പ്രഭു, മഗ്ദീയേല്പ്രഭു, ഈരാംപ്രഭു; ഇവരത്രേ ഏദോമ്യപ്രഭുക്കന്മാര്.

52. Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
