1. ഹെബ്രോനില്വെച്ചു ദാവീദിന്നു ജനിച്ച പുത്രന്മാരാവിതുയിസ്രെയേല്ക്കാരത്തിയായ അഹീനോവാം പ്രസവിച്ച അമ്നോന് ആദ്യ ജാതന് ; കര്മ്മേല്ക്കാരത്തിയായ അബിഗയില് പ്രസവിച്ച ദാനീയേല് രണ്ടാമന് ;

1. THESE SONS of David were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn was Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; second, Daniel (Chileab), of Abigail the Carmelitess;

2. ഗെശൂര് രാജാവായ തല്മായിയുടെ മകളായ മയഖയുടെ മകന് അബ്ശാലോം മൂന്നാമന് ; ഹഗ്ഗീത്തിന്റെ മകന് അദോനീയാവു നാലാമന് ;

2. Third, Absalom the son of Maacah daughter of Talmai king of Geshur; fourth, Adonijah, of Haggith;

6. Then Ibhar, Elishama, Eliphelet,

7. എലീഫേലെത്ത്, നോഗഹ്, നേഫെഗ്, യാഫീയാ,

8. എലീശാമാ, എല്യാദാ എലീഫേലെത്ത് എന്നീ ഒമ്പതു പേരും.

8. Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet--nine in all.

9. വെപ്പാട്ടികളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരൊഴികെ ദാവീദിന് പുത്രന്മാരൊക്കെയും ഇവരത്രേ. താമാര് അവരുടെ സഹോദരി ആയിരുന്നു.

9. These were all the sons of David, besides the sons of the concubines. And Tamar was their sister.

18. Malchiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

21. The sons of Hananiah: Pelatiah and Jeshaiah, whose son was Rephaiah, his son Arnan, his son Obadiah, his son Shecaniah.

22. ശെഖന്യാവിന്റെ മക്കള്ശെമയ്യാവു; ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മക്കള്ഹത്തൂശ്, യിഗാല്, ബാരീഹ്, നെയര്യ്യാവിന്റെ മക്കള്

22. The son of Shecaniah: Shemaiah. The sons of Shemaiah: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat--six in all.

23. എല്യോവേനായി, ഹിസ്കീയാവു, അസ്രീക്കാം ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നുപേര്.

23. The sons of Neariah: Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam--three in all.

24. എല്യോവേനായിയുടെ മക്കള്ഹോദവ്യാവു, എല്യാശീബ്, പെലായാവു, അക്കൂബ്, യോഹാനാന് , ദെലായാവു, അനാനി ഇങ്ങനെ ഏഴുപേര്.

24. The sons of Elioenai: Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani--seven in all.
