1. ഇങ്ങനെ ശലോമോന് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി ചെയ്ത പണിയൊക്കെയും തീര്ന്നു; പിന്നെ ശലോമോന് തന്റെ അപ്പനായ ദാവീദ് നിവേദിച്ചിരുന്ന വസ്തുക്കളായ വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും ഉപകരണങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ഭണ്ഡാരഗൃഹങ്ങളില് വെച്ചു.

1. That completed the work King Solomon did on The Temple of GOD. He then brought in the holy offerings of his father David, the silver and the gold and the artifacts. He placed them all in the treasury of God's Temple.

2. ശലോമോന് യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം സീയോന് എന്ന ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തില്നിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവരുവാന് യിസ്രായേല്മൂപ്പന്മാരെയും യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ പിതൃഭവനത്തലവന്മാരായ ഗോത്രപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും യെരൂശലേമില് കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി.

2. Bringing all this to a climax, Solomon got all the leaders together in Jerusalem--all the chiefs of tribes and the family patriarchs--to move the Chest of the Covenant of GOD from Zion and install it in The Temple.

3. യിസ്രായേല്പുരുഷന്മാരെല്ലാവരും ഏഴാം മാസത്തിലെ ഉത്സവത്തില് രാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നുകൂടി.

3. All the men of Israel assembled before the king on the feast day of the seventh month, the Feast of Booths.

4. യിസ്രായേല്മൂപ്പന്മാരെല്ലാവരും വന്നശേഷം ലേവ്യര് പെട്ടകം എടുത്തു.

4. When all the leaders of Israel were ready, the Levites took up the Chest.

5. പെട്ടകവും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരവും കൂടാരത്തിലെ സകലവിശുദ്ധോപകരണങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരുമത്രേ അവ കൊണ്ടുവന്നതു.

5. They carried the Chest, the Tent of Meeting, and all the sacred things in the Tent used in worship. The priests, all Levites, carried them.

6. ശലോമോന് രാജാവും അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൂടിവന്നിരുന്ന യിസ്രായേല്സഭയൊക്കെയും എണ്ണുവാനും കണക്കെടുപ്പാനും കഴിയാതവണ്ണം വളരെ ആടുകളെയും കാളകളെയും പെട്ടകത്തിന്നു മുമ്പില് യാഗം കഴിച്ചു.

6. King Solomon and the entire congregation of Israel were there before the Chest, worshiping and sacrificing huge numbers of sheep and cattle--so many that no one could keep track.

7. പുരോഹിതന്മാര് യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം അതിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തു, ആലയത്തിലെ അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരത്തില് അതിവിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തേക്കു കെരൂബുകളുടെ ചിറകിന് കീഴെ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു വെച്ചു.

7. The priests brought the Chest of the Covenant of GOD to its place in the Inner Sanctuary, the Holy of Holies, under the wings of the cherubim.

8. കെരൂബുകള് പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു മീതെ ചിറകുവിരിച്ചു പെട്ടകത്തെയും അതിന്റെ തണ്ടുകളെയും മൂടിനിന്നു,

8. The outspread wings of the cherubim formed a canopy over the Chest and its poles.

9. തണ്ടുകള് നീണ്ടിരിക്കയാല് തണ്ടുകളുടെ അറ്റങ്ങള് അന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരത്തിന്നു മുമ്പില് പെട്ടകത്തെ കവിഞ്ഞു കാണും എങ്കിലും പുറത്തുനിന്നു കാണുകയില്ല; അവ ഇന്നുവരെ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടു.

9. The ends of the poles were so long that they stuck out from the entrance of the Inner Sanctuary, but were not noticeable further out--they're still there today.

10. യിസ്രായേല് മക്കള് മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടശേഷം യഹോവ അവരോടു നിയമം ചെയ്തപ്പോള് മോശെ ഹോരേബില്വെച്ചു പെട്ടകത്തില് വെച്ചിരുന്ന രണ്ടു കല്പലകയല്ലാതെ അതില് മറ്റൊന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

10. There was nothing in the Chest itself but the two stone tablets that Moses had placed in it at Horeb where GOD made a covenant with Israel after bringing them up from Egypt.

11. പുരോഹിതന്മാര് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില്നിന്നു വന്നപ്പോള്--അവിടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാര് ക്കുറുകളുടെ ക്രമം നോക്കാതെ എല്ലാവരും തങ്ങളെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചിരുന്നു;

11. The priests then left the Holy Place. All the priests there were consecrated, regardless of rank or assignment;

12. ആസാഫ്, ഹേമാന് , യെദൂഥൂന് എന്നിവരും അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും സഹോദരന്മാരുമായി സംഗീതക്കാരായ ലേവ്യരെല്ലാവരും ചണവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു കൈത്താളങ്ങളും വീണകളും കിന്നരങ്ങളും പിടിച്ചു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നു കിഴക്കു കാഹളം ഊതിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന നൂറ്റിരുപതു പുരോഹിതന്മാരോടുകൂടെ നിന്നു--

12. and all the Levites who were musicians were there--Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their families, dressed in their worship robes; the choir and orchestra assembled on the east side of the Altar and were joined by 120 priests blowing trumpets.

13. കാഹളക്കാരും സംഗീതക്കാരും ഒത്തൊരുമിച്ചു കാഹളങ്ങളോടും കൈത്താളങ്ങളോടും വാദിത്രങ്ങളോടും കൂടെഅവന് നല്ലവനല്ലോ അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു എന്നു ഏകസ്വരമായി കേള്ക്കുമാറു യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തി സ്തുതിച്ചു; അവര് ഉച്ചത്തില് പാടി യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിച്ചപ്പോള് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയമായ മന്ദിരത്തില് ഒരു മേഘം നിറഞ്ഞു.

13. The choir and trumpets made one voice of praise and thanks to GOD--orchestra and choir in perfect harmony singing and playing praise to GOD: Yes! God is good! His loyal love goes on forever! Then a billowing cloud filled The Temple of GOD.

14. യഹോവയുടെ തേജസ്സ് ദൈവാലയത്തില് നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു പുരോഹിതന്മാര്ക്കും മേഘം നിമിത്തം ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു നില്പാന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

14. The priests couldn't even carry out their duties because of the cloud--the glory of GOD!--that filled The Temple of God.
