1. ഞങ്ങള്ക്കല്ല, യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങള്ക്കല്ല, നിന്റെ ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും നിമിത്തം നിന്റെ നാമത്തിന്നു തന്നേ മഹത്വം വരുത്തേണമേ.

1. Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth's sake.

2. അവരുടെ ദൈവം ഇപ്പോള് എവിടെ എന്നു ജാതികള് പറയുന്നതെന്തിന്നു?

2. Wherefore should the nations say, Where then is their God?

3. നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമോ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് ഉണ്ടു; തനിക്കു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളതൊക്കെയും അവന് ചെയ്യുന്നു.

3. But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he pleased.

4. അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങള് പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും ആകുന്നു; മനുഷ്യരുടെ കൈവേല തന്നേ.

4. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands:

5. അവേക്കു വായുണ്ടെങ്കിലും സംസാരിക്കുന്നില്ല; കണ്ണുണ്ടെങ്കിലും കാണുന്നില്ല.

5. They have a mouth, and they speak not; eyes have they, and they see not;

6. അവേക്കു ചെവിയുണ്ടെങ്കിലും കേള്ക്കുന്നില്ല; മൂകൂണ്ടെങ്കിലും മണക്കുന്നില്ല.

6. They have ears, and they hear not; a nose have they, and they smell not;

7. അവേക്കു കയ്യുണ്ടെങ്കിലും സ്പര്ശിക്കുന്നില്ല; കാലുണ്ടെങ്കിലും നടക്കുന്നില്ല; തൊണ്ടകൊണ്ടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

7. They have hands, and they handle not; feet have they, and they walk not; they give no sound through their throat.

8. അവയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നവര് അവയെപ്പോലെ ആകുന്നു; അവയില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ.

8. They that make them are like unto them, -- every one that confideth in them.

9. യിസ്രായേലേ, യഹോവയില് ആശ്രയിക്ക; അവന് അവരുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു;

9. O Israel, confide thou in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

10. അഹരോന് ഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവയില് ആശ്രയിക്ക. അവന് അവരുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു.

10. House of Aaron, confide in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

11. യഹോവാഭക്തന്മാരേ, യഹോവയില് ആശ്രയിപ്പിന് ; അവന് അവരുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു.

11. Ye that fear Jehovah, confide in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

12. യഹോവ നമ്മെ ഔര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; അവന് യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; അവന് അഹരോന് ഗൃഹത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.

12. Jehovah hath been mindful of us: he will bless, he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron;

13. അവന് യഹോവാഭക്തന്മാരായ ചെറിയവരെയും വലിയവരെയും അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും.

13. He will bless them that fear Jehovah, both the small and the great.

14. യഹോവ നിങ്ങളെ മേലക്കുമേല് വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ; നിങ്ങളെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെയും തന്നേ.

14. Jehovah will add unto you more, unto you and unto your children.

15. ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യഹോവയാല് നിങ്ങള് അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര് ആകുന്നു.

15. Ye are blessed of Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.

16. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗം യഹോവയുടെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗമാകുന്നു; ഭൂമിയെ അവന് മനുഷ്യര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

16. The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah, but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

17. മരിച്ചവരും മൌനതയില് ഇറങ്ങിയവര് ആരും യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നില്ല,

17. The dead praise not Jah, neither any that go down into silence;

18. നാമോ, ഇന്നുമുതല് എന്നേക്കും യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തും. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് .

18. But *we* will bless Jah from this time forth and for evermore. Hallelujah!
