2. യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലേക്കു നമുക്കു പോകാം എന്നു അവര് എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള് ഞാന് സന്തോഷിച്ചു.

2. Our feet are standing inside your gates, O Jerusalem.

3. യെരൂശലേമേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ കാലുകള് നിന്റെ വാതിലുകള്ക്കകത്തു നിലക്കുന്നു.

3. Jerusalem is a city designed to accommodate an assembly.

4. തമ്മില് ഇണക്കിയ നഗരമായി പണിതിരിക്കുന്ന യെരൂശലേമേ!

4. The tribes go up there, the tribes of the LORD, where it is required that Israel give thanks to the name of the LORD.

5. അവിടേക്കു ഗോത്രങ്ങള്, യഹോവയുടെ ഗോത്രങ്ങള് തന്നേ, യിസ്രായേലിന്നു സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്നായി യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്വാന് കയറിച്ചെല്ലുന്നു.

5. Indeed, the leaders sit there on thrones and make legal decisions, on the thrones of the house of David.

6. അവിടെ ന്യായാസനങ്ങള്, ദാവീദ്ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ ന്യായാസനങ്ങള് തന്നേ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

6. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May those who love her prosper!

7. യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ സമാധാനത്തിന്നായി പ്രാര്ത്ഥിപ്പിന് ; നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവര് സ്വൈരമായിരിക്കട്ടെ.

7. May there be peace inside your defenses, and prosperity inside your fortresses!

8. നിന്റെ കൊത്തളങ്ങളില് സമാധാനവും നിന്റെ അരമനകളില് സ്വൈരവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.

8. For the sake of my brothers and my neighbors I will say, 'May there be peace in you!'

9. എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരും കൂട്ടാളികളും നിമിത്തം നിന്നില് സമാധാനം ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ എന്നു ഞാന് പറയും.

9. For the sake of the temple of the LORD our God I will pray for you to prosper.
