1. From the depths of my despair I call to you, LORD.

2. യഹോവേ, ആഴത്തില്നിന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു;

2. Hear my cry, O Lord; listen to my call for help!

3. കര്ത്താവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എന്റെ യാചനകള്ക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കേണമേ.

3. If you kept a record of our sins, who could escape being condemned?

4. യഹോവേ, നീ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ഔര്മ്മവെച്ചാല് കര്ത്താവേ, ആര് നിലനിലക്കും?

4. But you forgive us, so that we should stand in awe of you.

5. എങ്കിലും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ പക്കല് വിമോചനം ഉണ്ടു.

5. I wait eagerly for the LORD's help, and in his word I trust.

6. ഞാന് യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനത്തില് ഞാന് പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. I wait for the Lord more eagerly than sentries wait for the dawn--- than sentries wait for the dawn.

7. ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാള്, ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാള് എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. Israel, trust in the LORD, because his love is constant and he is always willing to save.

8. യിസ്രായേലേ, യഹോവയില് പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചുകൊള്ക; യഹോവേക്കു കൃപയും അവന്റെപക്കല് ധാരാളം വീണ്ടെടുപ്പും ഉണ്ടു.
