1. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് ; എന് മനമേ, യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്ക.

1. Praise the Lord! My whole being, praise the Lord.

2. ജീവനുള്ളന്നും ഞാന് യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കും; ഞാന് ഉള്ള കാലത്തോളം എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു കീര്ത്തനം ചെയ്യും.

2. I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praises to my God as long as I live.

3. നിങ്ങള് പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരില് ആശ്രയിക്കരുതു, സഹായിപ്പാന് കഴിയാത്ത മനുഷ്യപുത്രനിലും അരുതു.

3. Do not put your trust in princes or other people, who cannot save you.

4. അവന്റെ ശ്വാസം പോകുന്നു; അവന് മണ്ണിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്നു; അന്നു തന്നേ അവന്റെ നിരൂപണങ്ങള് നശിക്കുന്നു.

7. പീഡിതന്മാര്ക്കും അവന് ന്യായം പാലിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നു; വിശപ്പുള്ളവര്ക്കും അവന് ആഹാരം നലകുന്നു; യഹോവ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ അഴിച്ചു വിടുന്നു.

7. He does what is fair for those who have been wronged. He gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free.

8. യഹോവ കുരുടന്മാര്ക്കും കാഴ്ച കൊടുക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ കുനിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവരെ നിവിര്ത്തുന്നു; യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

8. The Lord gives sight to the blind. The Lord lifts up people who are in trouble. The Lord loves those who do right.

9. യഹോവ പരദേശികളെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു; അവന് അനാഥനെയും വിധവയെയും സംരക്ഷണ ചെയ്യുന്നു; എന്നാല് ദുഷ്ന്മാരുടെ വഴി അവന് മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

9. The Lord protects the foreigners. He defends the orphans and widows, but he blocks the way of the wicked.

10. യഹോവ എന്നേക്കും വാഴും; സീയോനേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവം തലമുറതലമുറയോളം തന്നേ.

10. The Lord will be King forever. Jerusalem, your God is everlasting.
