1. യഹോവേ, നിങ്കലേക്കു ഞാന് മനസ്സു ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു;

1. A Psalme of David. Unto thee, O Lord, lift I vp my soule.

2. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, നിന്നില് ഞാന് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകരുതേ; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് എന്റെമേല് ജയം ഘോഷിക്കരുതേ.

2. My God, I trust in thee: let me not be confounded: let not mine enemies reioyce ouer mee.

3. നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരുത്തനും ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകയില്ല; വെറുതെ ദ്രോഹിക്കുന്നവര് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകും.

3. So all that hope in thee, shall not be ashamed: but let them be confounded, that transgresse without cause.

4. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ വഴികളെ എന്നെ അറിയിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ പാതകളെ എനിക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചു തരേണമേ!

4. Shew me thy waies, O Lord, and teache me thy paths.

5. നിന്റെ സത്യത്തില് എന്നെ നടത്തി എന്നെ പഠിപ്പിക്കേണമേ; നീ എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവമാകുന്നുവല്ലോ; ദിവസം മുഴുവനും ഞാന് നിങ്കല് പ്രത്യാശവെക്കുന്നു.

5. Leade me foorth in thy trueth, and teache me: for thou art the God of my saluation: in thee doe I trust all the day.

6. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ കരുണയും ദയയും ഔര്ക്കേണമേ; അവ പണ്ടുപണ്ടേയുള്ളവയല്ലോ.

6. Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies, and thy louing kindnesse: for they haue beene for euer.

7. എന്റെ ബാല്യത്തിലെ പാപങ്ങളെയും എന്റെ ലംഘനങ്ങളെയും ഔര്ക്കരുതേ; യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ കൃപപ്രകാരം നിന്റെ ദയനിമിത്തം എന്നെ ഔര്ക്കേണമേ.

7. Remember not the sinnes of my youth, nor my rebellions, but according to thy kindenesse remember thou me, euen for thy goodnesse sake, O Lord.

8. യഹോവ നല്ലവനും നേരുള്ളവനും ആകുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന് പാപികളെ നേര്വ്വഴികാണിക്കുന്നു.

8. Gracious and righteous is the Lord: therefore will he teache sinners in the way.

9. സൌമ്യതയുള്ളവരെ അവന് ന്യായത്തില് നടത്തുന്നു; സൌമ്യതയുള്ളവര്ക്കും തന്റെ വഴി പഠിപ്പിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

9. Them that be meeke, will hee guide in iudgement, and teach the humble his way.

10. യഹോവയുടെ നിയമവും സാക്ഷ്യങ്ങളും പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും അവന്റെ പാതകളൊക്കെയും ദയയും സത്യവും ആകുന്നു.

10. All the pathes of the Lord are mercie and trueth vnto such as keepe his couenant and his testimonies.

11. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ അകൃത്യം വലിയതു; നിന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം അതു ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ.

11. For thy Names sake, O Lord, be merciful vnto mine iniquitie, for it is great.

12. യഹോവാഭക്തനായ പുരുഷന് ആര്? അവന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കേണ്ടുന്ന വഴി താന് അവന്നു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

12. What man is he that feareth the Lord? him wil he teache the way that hee shall chuse.

13. അവന് സുഖത്തോടെ വസിക്കും; അവന്റെ സന്തതി ദേശത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കും.

13. His soule shall dwell at ease, and his seede shall inherite the land.

14. യഹോവയുടെ സഖിത്വം തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാര്ക്കും ഉണ്ടാകും; അവന് തന്റെ നിയമം അവരെ അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

14. The secrete of the Lord is reueiled to them, that feare him: and his couenant to giue them vnderstanding.

15. എന്റെ കണ്ണു എപ്പോഴും യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കാകുന്നു; അവന് എന്റെ കാലുകളെ വലയില്നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും.

15. Mine eyes are euer towarde the Lord: for he will bring my feete out of the net.

16. എങ്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു എന്നോടു കരുണയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; ഞാന് ഏകാകിയും അരിഷ്ടനും ആകുന്നു.

16. Turne thy face vnto mee, and haue mercie vpon me: for I am desolate and poore.

17. എനിക്കു മന:പീഡകള് വര്ദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ സങ്കടങ്ങളില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

17. The sorowes of mine heart are enlarged: drawe me out of my troubles.

18. എന്റെ അരിഷ്ടതയും അതിവേദനയും നോക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ സകലപാപങ്ങളും ക്ഷമിക്കേണമേ.

18. Looke vpon mine affliction and my trauel, and forgiue all my sinnes.

19. എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നോക്കേണമേ; അവര് പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് കഠിനദ്വേഷത്തോടെ എന്നെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നു;

19. Beholde mine enemies, for they are manie, and they hate me with cruell hatred.

20. എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാത്തു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; നിന്നെ ശരണമാക്കിയിരിക്കയാല് ഞാന് ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ.

20. Keepe my soule, and deliuer me: let me not be confounded, for I trust in thee.

21. നിഷ്കളങ്കതയും നേരും എന്നെ പരിപാലിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ; ഞാന് നിങ്കല് പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

21. Let mine vprightnes and equitie preserue me: for mine hope is in thee.

22. ദൈവമേ, യിസ്രായേലിനെ അവന്റെ സകലകഷ്ടങ്ങളില്നിന്നും വീണ്ടെടുക്കേണമേ.
