1. യഹോവ, ഞാന് നിന്നില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ഒരുനാളും ലജ്ജിച്ചുപോകരുതേ.

1. O LORD, I have come to you for protection; don't let me be disgraced.

2. നിന്റെ നീതിനിമിത്തം എന്നെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ചു വിടുവിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്കു ചായിച്ചു എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ.

2. Save me and rescue me, for you do what is right. Turn your ear to listen to me, and set me free.

3. ഞാന് എപ്പോഴും വന്നു പാര്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എനിക്കു ഉറപ്പുള്ള പാറയായിരിക്കേണമേ; എന്നെ രക്ഷിപ്പാന് നീ കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും ആകുന്നുവല്ലോ.

3. Be my rock of safety where I can always hide. Give the order to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress.

4. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ദുഷ്ടന്റെ കയ്യില്നിന്നും നീതികേടും ക്രൂരതയും ഉള്ളവന്റെ കയ്യില് നിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കേണമേ.

4. My God, rescue me from the power of the wicked, from the clutches of cruel oppressors.

5. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവേ, നീ എന്റെ പ്രത്യാശയാകുന്നു; ബാല്യംമുതല് നീ എന്റെ ആശ്രയം തന്നേ.

5. O Lord, you alone are my hope. I've trusted you, O LORD, from childhood.

6. ഗര്ഭംമുതല് നീ എന്നെ താങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ ഉദരത്തില്നിന്നു എന്നെ എടുത്തവന് നീ തന്നെ; എന്റെ സ്തുതി എപ്പോഴും നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചാകുന്നു;

6. Yes, you have been with me from birth; from my mother's womb you have cared for me. No wonder I am always praising you!

7. ഞാന് പലര്ക്കും ഒരത്ഭുതം ആയിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ എന്റെ ബലമുള്ള സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു.

7. My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection.

8. എന്റെ വായ് നിന്റെ സ്തുതികൊണ്ടും ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ പ്രശംസകൊണ്ടും നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. That is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long.

9. വാര്ദ്ധക്യകാലത്തു നീ എന്നെ തള്ളിക്കളയരുതേ; ബലം ക്ഷയിക്കുമ്പോള് എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയുമരുതേ.

9. And now, in my old age, don't set me aside. Don't abandon me when my strength is failing.

10. എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പ്രാണഹാനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവര് കൂടിയാലോചിക്കുന്നു.

10. For my enemies are whispering against me. They are plotting together to kill me.

11. ദൈവം അവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്തുടര്ന്നു പിടിപ്പിന് ; വിടുവിപ്പാന് ആരുമില്ല എന്നു അവര് പറയുന്നു.

11. They say, 'God has abandoned him. Let's go and get him, for no one will help him now.'

12. ദൈവമേ, എന്നോടു അകന്നിരിക്കരുതേ; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എന്നെ സഹായിപ്പാന് വേഗം വരേണമേ.

12. O God, don't stay away. My God, please hurry to help me.

13. എന്റെ പ്രാണന്നു വിരോധികളായവര് ലജ്ജിച്ചു നശിച്ചുപോകട്ടെ; എനിക്കു അനര്ത്ഥം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവര് നിന്ദകൊണ്ടും ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടും മൂടിപ്പോകട്ടെ.

13. Bring disgrace and destruction on my accusers. Humiliate and shame those who want to harm me.

14. ഞാനോ എപ്പോഴും പ്രത്യാശിക്കും; ഞാന് മേലക്കുമേല് നിന്നെ സ്തുതിക്കും.

14. But I will keep on hoping for your help; I will praise you more and more.

15. എന്റെ വായ് ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ നീതിയെയും രക്ഷയെയും വര്ണ്ണിക്കും; അവയുടെ സംഖ്യ എനിക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ.

15. I will tell everyone about your righteousness. All day long I will proclaim your saving power, though I am not skilled with words.

16. ഞാന് യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളോടുകൂടെ വരും; നിന്റെ നീതിയെ മാത്രം ഞാന് കീര്ത്തിക്കും.

16. I will praise your mighty deeds, O Sovereign LORD. I will tell everyone that you alone are just.

17. ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ബാല്യംമുതല് നീ എന്നെ ഉപദേശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇന്നുവരെ ഞാന് നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികളെ അറിയിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

17. O God, you have taught me from my earliest childhood, and I constantly tell others about the wonderful things you do.

18. ദൈവമേ, അടുത്ത തലമുറയോടു ഞാന് നിന്റെ ഭുജത്തെയും വരുവാനുള്ള എല്ലാവരോടും നിന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തിയെയും അറിയിക്കുവോളം വാര്ദ്ധക്യവും നരയും ഉള്ള കാലത്തും എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കരുതേ.

18. Now that I am old and gray, do not abandon me, O God. Let me proclaim your power to this new generation, your mighty miracles to all who come after me.

19. ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ നീതിയും അത്യുന്നതമായിരിക്കുന്നു; മഹാകാര്യങ്ങളെ പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള ദൈവമേ, നിന്നോടു തുല്യന് ആരുള്ളു?

19. Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the highest heavens. You have done such wonderful things. Who can compare with you, O God?

20. അനവധി കഷ്ടങ്ങളും അനര്ത്ഥങ്ങളും ഞങ്ങളെ കാണുമാറാക്കിയവനേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളെ വീണ്ടും ജീവിപ്പിക്കും; ഭൂമിയുടെ ആഴങ്ങളില്നിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ തിരികെ കയറ്റും.

20. You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth.

21. നീ എന്റെ മഹത്വം വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നെ വീണ്ടും ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കേണമേ.

21. You will restore me to even greater honor and comfort me once again.

22. എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ഞാനും വീണകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെയും നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെയും സ്തുതിക്കും; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനായുള്ളോവേ, ഞാന് കിന്നരംകൊണ്ടു നിനക്കു സ്തുതിപാടും.

22. Then I will praise you with music on the harp, because you are faithful to your promises, O my God. I will sing praises to you with a lyre, O Holy One of Israel.

23. ഞാന് നിനക്കു സ്തുതിപാടുമ്പോള് എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളും നീ വീണ്ടെടുത്ത എന്റെ പ്രാണനും ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കും.

23. I will shout for joy and sing your praises, for you have ransomed me.

24. എന്റെ നാവും ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ നീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കും; എനിക്കു അനര്ത്ഥം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവര് ലജ്ജിച്ചു ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു. (ശലോമോന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.)
