1. യഹോവേ, നീ നിന്റെ ദേശത്തെ കടാക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; യാക്കോബിന്റെ പ്രവാസികളെ തിരിച്ചുവരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

1. LORD, thou hast been favourable unto thy land; thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

2. നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യം നീ മോചിച്ചു; അവരുടെ പാപം ഒക്കെയും നീ മൂടിക്കളഞ്ഞു. സേലാ.

2. Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people; thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

3. നിന്റെ ക്രോധം മുഴുവനും നീ അടക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു; നിന്റെ ഉഗ്രകോപം നീ വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. Thou hast taken away all thy wrath; thou hast turned [thyself] from the fierceness of thine anger.

4. ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവമേ, ഞങ്ങളെ യഥാസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തേണമേ; ഞങ്ങളോടുള്ള നിന്റെ നീരസം മതിയാക്കേണമേ.

4. Turn us, O God our saving health and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

5. നീ എന്നും ഞങ്ങളോടു കോപിക്കുമോ? തലമുറതലമുറയോളം നിന്റെ കോപം ദീര്ഘിച്ചിരിക്കുമോ?

5. Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou extend thine anger from generation to generation?

6. നിന്റെ ജനം നിന്നില് ആനന്ദിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ ഞങ്ങളെ വീണ്ടും ജീവിപ്പിക്കയില്ലയോ?

6. Wilt thou not give us life again that thy people may rejoice in thee?

7. യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ദയ ഞങ്ങളെ കാണിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ രക്ഷ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു നല്കേണമേ.

7. Show us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy saving health.

8. യഹോവയായ ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഞാന് കേള്ക്കും; അവര് ഭോഷത്വത്തിലേക്കു വീണ്ടും തിരിയാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് തന്റെ ജനത്തോടും തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടും സമാധാനം അരുളും.

8. I will hear what God the LORD will speak, for he will speak peace unto his people and to his saints, that they not turn again to folly.

9. തിരുമഹത്വം നമ്മുടെ ദേശത്തില് വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ രക്ഷ അവന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു നിശ്ചയം.

9. Surely his saving health [is] near those that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

10. ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും തമ്മില് എതിരേറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു. നീതിയും സമാധാനവും തമ്മില് ചുംബിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

10. Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other].

11. വിശ്വസ്തത ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു മുളെക്കുന്നു; നീതി സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു നോക്കുന്നു.

11. Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from the heavens.

12. യഹോവ നന്മ നലകുകയും നമ്മുടെ ദേശം വിളതരികയും ചെയ്യും.

12. The LORD shall give [that which is] good, and our land shall bring forth her fruit.

13. നീതി അവന്നു മുമ്പായി നടക്കയും അവന്റെ കാല്ചുവടുകളുടെ വഴി നോക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. (ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു പ്രാര്ത്ഥന.)

13. Righteousness shall go before him and shall set his steps in the way.:
