3. I made a covenant with My chosen ones, I swore unto David My servant.

4. I will establish your seed forever, and build up your throne to all generations. Pause.

5. The heavens shall declare Your wonders, O Lord; and Your truth in the assembly of the saints.

6. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് യഹോവയോടു സദൃശനായവന് ആര്? ദേവപുത്രന്മാരില് യഹോവേക്കു തുല്യനായവന് ആര്?

6. For who in the heavens shall be compared to the Lord? And who shall be likened to the Lord among the sons of God?

7. God is glorified in the council of the saints; great and terrible toward all that are round about Him.

8. O Lord God of hosts, who is like You? You are mighty, O Lord, and Your truth is round about You.

9. You rule the power of the sea; and You calm the tumult of its waves.

10. You have brought down the proud as one that is slain; and with the arm of Your power You have scattered Your enemies.

11. The heavens are Yours, and the earth is Yours; You have founded the world, and the fullness of it.

12. ദക്ഷിണോത്തരദിക്കുകളെ നീ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; താബോരും ഹെര്മ്മോനും നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു;

12. You have created the north and the west; Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in Your name.

13. നിനക്കു വീര്യമുള്ളോരു ഭുജം ഉണ്ടു; നിന്റെ കൈ ബലമുള്ളതും നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ ഉന്നതവും ആകുന്നു.

13. Yours is the mighty arm; let Your hand be strengthened, let Your right hand be exalted.

14. നീതിയും ന്യായവും നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാകുന്നു; ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയും നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി നടക്കുന്നു.

14. Justice and judgment are the establishment of Your throne; mercy and truth shall go before Your face.

15. ജയഘോഷം അറിയുന്ന ജനത്തിന്നു ഭാഗ്യം; യഹോവേ, അവര് നിന്റെ മുഖപ്രകാശത്തില് നടക്കും.

15. Blessed are the people that knows the joyful sound; they shall walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.

16. അവര് ഇടവിടാതെ നിന്റെ നാമത്തില് ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കുന്നു. നിന്റെ നീതിയില് അവര് ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

16. And in Your name shall they rejoice all the day; and in Your righteousness shall they be exalted.

17. നീ അവരുടെ ബലത്തിന്റെ മഹത്വമാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ പ്രസാദത്താല് ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൊമ്പു ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

17. For You are the boast of their strength; and in Your good pleasure shall our horn be exalted,

18. നമ്മുടെ പരിച യഹോവേക്കുള്ളതും നമ്മുടെ രാജാവു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന്നുള്ളവന്നും ആകുന്നു.

18. for [our] help is of the Lord; and of the Holy One of Israel, our King.

19. അന്നു നീ ദര്ശനത്തില് നിന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു; ഞാന് വീരനായ ഒരുത്തന്നു സഹായം നലകുകയും ജനത്തില്നിന്നു ഒരു വൃതനെ ഉയര്ത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.

19. Then You spoke in a vision to Your children, and said, I have laid help on a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of My people.

20. I have found David My servant; I have anointed him by [My] holy mercy.

21. For My hand shall support him; and My arm shall strengthen him.

22. ശത്രു അവനെ തോല്പിക്കയില്ല; വഷളന് അവനെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കയും ഇല്ല.

22. The enemy shall have no advantage against him; and the son of transgression shall not hurt him again.

23. ഞാന് അവന്റെ വൈരികളെ അവന്റെ മുമ്പില് തകര്ക്കും; അവനെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ സംഹരിക്കും,

23. And I will hew down his foes before him, and put to flight those that hate him.

24. എന്നാല് എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയും ദയയും അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; എന്റെ നാമത്തില് അവന്റെ കൊമ്പു ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കും.

24. But My truth and My mercy shall be with him; and in My name shall his horn be exalted.

25. അവന്റെ കയ്യെ ഞാന് സമുദ്രത്തിന്മേലും അവന്റെ വലങ്കയ്യെ നദികളുടെമേലും നീട്ടുമാറാക്കും.

25. And I will set his hand in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

26. അവന് എന്നോടുനീ എന്റെ പിതാവു, എന്റെ ദൈവം, എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ പാറ എന്നിങ്ങനെ വിളിച്ചുപറയും.

26. He shall call upon Me, [saying], You are my Father, my God, and the helper of my salvation.

27. And I will make him [My] firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

28. I will keep My mercy for him forever, and My covenant [shall be] firm with him.

29. ഞാന് അവന്റെ സന്തതിയെ ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ ആകാശമുള്ള കാലത്തോളവും നിലനിര്ത്തും.

29. And I will establish his seed forever and ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

30. അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര് എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ വിധികളെ അനുസരിച്ചുനടക്കാതിരിക്കയും

30. If his children should forsake My law, and walk not in My judgments;

31. എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ലംഘിക്കയും എന്റെ കല്പനകളെ പ്രമാണിക്കാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല്

31. if they should profane My ordinances, and not keep My commandments;

32. ഞാന് അവരുടെ ലംഘനത്തെ വടികൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ അകൃത്യത്തെ ദണ്ഡനംകൊണ്ടും സന്ദര്ശിക്കും.

32. I will visit their transgressions with a rod, and their sins with scourges.

33. എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ദയയെ ഞാന് അവങ്കല് നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളകയില്ല; എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതെക്കു ഭംഗം വരുത്തുകയുമില്ല.

33. But My mercy I will not utterly remove from him, nor wrong My truth.

34. ഞാന് എന്റെ നിയമത്തെ ലംഘിക്കയോ എന്റെ അധരങ്ങളില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതിന്നു ഭേദം വരുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല.

34. Neither will I by any means profane My covenant; and I will not make void the things that proceed out of My lips.

35. ഞാന് ഒരിക്കല് എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധിയെക്കൊണ്ടു സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിനോടു ഞാന് ഭോഷകു പറകയില്ല.

35. Once have I sworn by My holiness, that I will not lie to David.

36. അവന്റെ സന്തതി ശാശ്വതമായും അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനം എന്റെ മുമ്പില് സൂര്യനെപ്പോലെയും ഇരിക്കും.

36. His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before Me;

37. and as the moon [that is] established forever, and as the faithful witness in heaven. Pause.

38. But You have cast off and set at nought, You have rejected Your anointed.

39. നിന്റെ ദാസനോടുള്ള നിയമത്തെ നീ വെറുത്തുകളഞ്ഞു; അവന്റെ കിരീടത്തെ നീ നിലത്തിട്ടു അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

39. You have overthrown the covenant of Your servant; You have profaned his sanctuary, [casting it] to the ground.

40. നീ അവന്റെ വേലി ഒക്കെയും പൊളിച്ചു; അവന്റെ കോട്ടകളെയും ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

40. You have broken down all his hedges; You have made his strongholds a terror.

41. വഴിപോകുന്ന എല്ലാവരും അവനെ കൊള്ളയിടുന്നു; തന്റെ അയല്ക്കാര്ക്കും അവന് നിന്ദ ആയിത്തീര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

41. All that go by the way have spoiled him; he has become a reproach to his neighbors.

42. നീ അവന്റെ വൈരികളുടെ വലങ്കയ്യെ ഉയര്ത്തി; അവന്റെ സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും സന്തോഷിപ്പിച്ചു.

42. You have exalted the right hand of his enemies; You have made all his enemies to rejoice.

43. അവന്റെ വാളിന് വായ്ത്തലയെ നീ മടക്കി; യുദ്ധത്തില് അവനെ നിലക്കുമാറാക്കിയതുമില്ല.

43. You have turned back the help of his sword, and have not helped him in the battle.

44. അവന്റെ തേജസ്സിനെ നീ ഇല്ലാതാക്കി; അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു.

44. You have deprived him of glory; You have broken down his throne to the ground.

45. അവന്റെ യൌവനകാലത്തെ നീ ചുരുക്കി; നീ അവനെ ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടു മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സേലാ.

45. You have shortened the days of his throne; You have poured shame upon him. Pause.

46. യഹോവേ, നീ നിത്യം മറഞ്ഞുകളയുന്നതും നിന്റെ ക്രോധം തീപോലെ ജ്വലിക്കുന്നതും എത്രത്തോളം?

46. How long, O Lord? Will You turn away, forever? Shall Your anger flame out as fire?

47. എന്റെ ആയുസ്സു എത്രചുരുക്കം എന്നു ഔര്ക്കേണമേ; എന്തു മിത്ഥ്യാത്വത്തിന്നായി നീ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു?

47. Remember what my being is; for have You created all the sons of men in vain?

48. ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നു മരണം കാണാതെയിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ആര്? തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പാതാളത്തിന്റെ കയ്യില് നിന്നു വിടുവിക്കുന്നവനും ആരുള്ളു? സേലാ.

48. What man is there who shall live, and not see death? Shall [anyone] deliver his soul from the hand of Hades? Pause.

49. കര്ത്താവേ, നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയില് നി ദാവീദിനോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത നിന്റെ പണ്ടത്തെ കൃപകള് എവിടെ?

49. Where are Your ancient mercies, O Lord, which You swore to David in Your truth?

50. കര്ത്താവേ, അടിയങ്ങളുടെ നിന്ദ ഔര്ക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ മാര്വ്വിടത്തില് ഞാന് സകലമഹാജാതികളുടെയും നിന്ദ വഹിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ.

50. Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Your servants, which I have borne in my bosom, [even the reproach] of many nations;
