1. അത്യുന്നതന്റെ മറവില് വസിക്കയും സര്വ്വശക്തന്റെ നിഴലിന് കീഴില് പാര്ക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്

1. You can go to God Most High to hide. You can go to God All-Powerful for protection.

2. യഹോവയെക്കുറിച്ചുഅവന് എന്റെ സങ്കേതവും കോട്ടയും ഞാന് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ദൈവവും എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

2. I say to the Lord, 'You are my place of safety, my fortress. My God, I trust in you.'

3. അവന് നിന്നെ വേട്ടക്കാരന്റെ കണിയില് നിന്നും നാശകരമായ മഹാമാരിയില്നിന്നും വിടുവിക്കും.

3. God will save you from hidden dangers and from deadly diseases.

4. തന്റെ തൂവലുകള്കൊണ്ടു അവന് നിന്നെ മറെക്കും; അവന്റെ ചിറകിന് കീഴില് നീ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കും; അവന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തത നിനക്കു പരിചയും പലകയും ആകുന്നു.

4. You can go to him for protection. He will cover you like a bird spreading its wings over its babies. You can trust him to surround and protect you like a shield.

5. You will have nothing to fear at night and no need to be afraid of enemy arrows during the day.

6. ഇരുട്ടില് സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന മഹാമാരിയെയും ഉച്ചെക്കു നശിപ്പിക്കുന്ന സംഹാരത്തെയും നിനക്കു പേടിപ്പാനില്ല.

6. You will have no fear of diseases that come in the dark or terrible suffering that comes at noon.

7. നിന്റെ വശത്തു ആയിരം പേരും നിന്റെ വലത്തുവശത്തു പതിനായിരം പേരും വീഴും, എങ്കിലും അതു നിന്നോടു അടുത്തുവരികയില്ല.

7. A thousand people may fall dead at your side or ten thousand right beside you, but nothing bad will happen to you!

8. നിന്റെ കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു തന്നേ നീ നോക്കി ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്ക്കും വരുന്ന പ്രതിഫലം കാണും.

8. All you will have to do is watch, and you will see that the wicked are punished.

9. യഹോവേ, നീ എന്റെ സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു; നീ അത്യുന്നതനെ നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലമാക്കി ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

9. You trust in the Lord for protection. You have made God Most High your place of safety.

10. ഒരു അനര്ത്ഥവും നിനക്കു ഭവിക്കയില്ല; ഒരു ബാധയും നിന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിന്നു അടുക്കയില്ല.

10. So nothing bad will happen to you. No diseases will come near your home.

11. നിന്റെ എല്ലാവഴികളിലും നിന്നെ കാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരോടു കല്പിക്കും;

11. He will command his angels to protect you wherever you go.

13. You will have power to trample on lions and poisonous snakes.

14. The Lord says, 'If someone trusts me, I will save them. I will protect my followers who call to me for help.

15. അവന് എന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും; ഞാന് അവന്നു ഉത്തരമരുളും; കഷ്ടകാലത്തു ഞാന് അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; ഞാന് അവനെ വിടുവിച്ചു മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

15. When my followers call to me, I will answer them. I will be with them when they are in trouble. I will rescue them and honor them.

16. ദീര്ഘായുസ്സുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അവന്നു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തും; എന്റെ രക്ഷയെ അവന്നു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും. (ശബ്ബത്ത് നാള്ക്കുള്ള ഒരു ഗീതം; ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.)

16. I will give my followers a long life and show them my power to save.'
