1. വരുവിന് , നാം യഹോവേക്കു ഉല്ലസിച്ചു ഘോഷിക്ക; നമ്മുടെ രക്ഷയുടെ പാറെക്കു ആര്പ്പിടുക.

1. An exhortation to the earnest praisinge of God. O COME let us praise the LORD, let us heartily rejoice in the strength of our salvation.

2. നാം സ്തോത്രത്തോടെ അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് ചെല്ലുക; സങ്കീര്ത്തനങ്ങളോടെ അവന്നു ഘോഷിക്ക.

2. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and shew ourself glad in him with Psalms.

3. യഹോവ മഹാദൈവമല്ലോ; അവന് സകലദേവന്മാര്ക്കും മീതെ മഹാരാജാവു തന്നേ.

3. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.(goddes)

4. ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗങ്ങള് അവന്റെ കയ്യില് ആകുന്നു; പര്വ്വതങ്ങളുടെ ശിഖരങ്ങളും അവന്നുള്ളവ.

4. In his hand are all the corners of the earth, and the strength of the hills is his also.

5. സമുദ്രം അവന്നുള്ളതു; അവന് അതിനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; കരയെയും അവന്റെ കൈകള് മനെഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands prepared the dry land.

6. വരുവിന് , നാം വണങ്ങി നമസ്കരിക്ക; നമ്മെ നിര്മ്മിച്ച യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പില് മുട്ടുകുത്തുക.

6. O come, let us worship and bow down ourselves: Let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

7. അവന് നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; നാമോ അവന് മേയിക്കുന്ന ജനവും അവന്റെ കൈക്കലെ ആടുകളും തന്നേ.

7. For he is our God: and (as for us) we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hands.

8. ഇന്നു നിങ്ങള് അവന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേള്ക്കുന്നു എങ്കില്, മെരീബയിലെപ്പോലെയും മരുഭൂമിയില് മസ്സാനാളിനെപ്പോലെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ കഠിനമാക്കരുതു.

8. Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as when ye provoked in the time of temptation in the wilderness.

9. അവിടെവെച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് എന്നെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു; എന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി അവര് കണ്ടിട്ടും എന്നെ ശോധനചെയ്തു.

9. Where your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works.

10. നാല്പതു ആണ്ടു എനിക്കു ആ തലമുറയോടു നീരസം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവര് തെറ്റിപ്പോകുന്ന ഹൃദയമുള്ളോരു ജനം എന്നും എന്റെ വഴികളെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലാത്തവരെന്നും ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു.

10. Forty years long was I grieved with that generation, and said: they ever err in their hearts, they verily have not known my ways.

11. ആകയാല് അവര് എന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയില് പ്രവേശിക്കയില്ലെന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തില് സത്യം ചെയ്തു.
