1. യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്
മത്തായി 26:2

1. And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

2. ഈ മാസം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മാസങ്ങളുടെ ആരംഭമായി ആണ്ടില് ഒന്നാം മാസം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

2. This month [shall be] to you the beginning of months: it is the first to you among the months of the year.

3. നിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സര്വ്വസംഘത്തോടും പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഈ മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി അതതു കുടുംബത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടി വീതം ഔരോരുത്തന് ഔരോ ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ എടുക്കേണം.
1 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 5:8

3. Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, On the tenth of this month let each man take for himself a lamb according to the houses of their families, every man a lamb for his household.

4. ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ തിന്നുവാന് വീട്ടിലുള്ളവര് പോരായെങ്കില് ആളുകളുടെ എണ്ണത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവനും അവന്റെ വീട്ടിന്നടുത്ത അയല്ക്കാരനും കൂടി അതിനെ എടുക്കേണം ഔരോരുത്തന് തിന്നുന്നതിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം കണകൂനോക്കി നിങ്ങള് ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ എടുക്കേണം.

4. And if there be few in a household, so that there are not enough for the lamb, he shall take with himself his neighbor that lives near to him, as to the number of persons, everyone according to each man's need you shall make a reckoning for the lamb.

5. ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടി ഊനമില്ലാത്തതും ഒരു വയസ്സു പ്രായമുള്ള ആണുമായിരിക്കേണം; അതു ചെമ്മരിയാടോ കോലാടോ ആകാം.

5. It shall be to you a lamb unblemished, a male of a year old. You shall take it from the lambs or from the goats.

6. ഈ മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതിവരെ അതിനെ സൂക്ഷിക്കേണം. യിസ്രായേല്സഭയുടെ കൂട്ടമെല്ലാം സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തു അതിനെ അറുക്കേണം.

6. And it shall be kept by you till the fourteenth of this month, and all the multitude of the congregation of the children of Israel shall kill it toward evening.

7. അതിന്റെ രക്തം കുറെ എടുത്തു തങ്ങള് തിന്നുന്ന വീടുകളുടെ വാതിലിന്റെ കട്ടളക്കാല് രണ്ടിന്മേലും കുറുമ്പടിമേലും പുരട്ടേണം.

7. And they shall take of the blood, and shall put it on the two doorposts, and on the lintel, in the houses wherever they shall eat them.

8. അന്നു രാത്രി അവര് തീയില് ചുട്ടതായ ആ മാംസവും പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പവും തിന്നേണം; കൈപ്പുചീരയോടുകൂടെ അതു തിന്നേണം.

8. And they shall eat the flesh in this night roasted with fire, and they shall eat unleavened bread with bitter herbs.

9. തലയും കാലും അന്തര്ഭാഗങ്ങളുമായി തീയില് ചുട്ടിട്ടല്ലാതെ പച്ചയായിട്ടോ വെള്ളത്തില് പുഴുങ്ങിയതായിട്ടോ തിന്നരുതു.

9. You shall not eat of it raw nor boiled in water, but only roasted with fire, the head with its legs and its entrails.

10. പിറ്റെന്നാള് കാലത്തേക്കു അതില് ഒട്ടും ശേഷിപ്പിക്കരുതു; പിറ്റെന്നാള് കാലത്തേക്കു ശേഷിക്കുന്നതു നിങ്ങള് തീയിലിട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.

10. Nothing shall be left of it till the morning, and a bone of it you shall not break; but that which is left of it till the morning you shall burn with fire.

11. അര കെട്ടിയും കാലിന്നു ചെരിപ്പിട്ടും കയ്യില് വടി പിടിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള് തിന്നേണം; തിടുക്കത്തോടെ നിങ്ങള് തിന്നേണം; അതു യഹോവയുടെ പെസഹ ആകുന്നു.

11. And thus shall you eat it: your loins girded, and your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand, and you shall eat it in haste. It is a Passover to the Lord.

12. ഈ രാത്രിയില് ഞാന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുകൂടി കടന്നു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുള്ള മനുഷ്യന്റെയും മൃഗത്തിന്റെയും കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ ഒക്കെയും സംഹരിക്കും; മിസ്രയീമിലെ സകല ദേവന്മാരിലും ഞാന് ന്യായവിധി നടത്തും; ഞാന് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു

12. And I will go throughout the land of Egypt in that night, and I will smite every firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast, and on all the gods of Egypt will I execute vengeance: I am the Lord.

13. നിങ്ങള് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന വീടുകളിന്മേല് രക്തം അടയാളമായിരിക്കും; ഞാന് രക്തം കാണുമ്പോള് നിങ്ങളെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു കടന്നു പോകും; ഞാന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെ ബാധിക്കുന്ന ബാധ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു നാശഹേതുവായ്തീരുകയില്ല.

13. And the blood shall be for a sign to you on the houses in which you are, and I will see the blood, and will protect you, and there shall not be on you the plague of destruction, when I smite in the land of Egypt.

14. ഈ ദിവസം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഔര്മ്മനാളായിരിക്കേണം; നിങ്ങള് അതു യഹോവേക്കു ഉത്സവമായി ആചരിക്കേണം. തലമുറതലമുറയായും നിത്യനിയമമായും നിങ്ങള് അതു ആചരിക്കേണം.

14. And this day shall be to you a memorial, and you shall keep it a feast to the Lord through all your generations; you shall keep it a feast for a perpetual ordinance.

15. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and from the first day you shall utterly remove leaven from your houses: whoever shall eat leaven, that soul shall be utterly destroyed from Israel, from the first day until the seventh day.

16. ഒന്നാം ദിവസത്തിലും ഏഴാം ദിവസത്തിലും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശുദ്ധസഭായോഗം ഉണ്ടാകേണം; അന്നു അവരവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടുന്ന ഭക്ഷണം ഒരുക്കുകയല്ലാതെ ഒരു വേലയും ചെയ്യരുതു.

16. And the first day shall be called holy, and the seventh day shall be a holy convocation to you. You shall do no servile work on them, only as many things as is necessary shall be done by every soul, this only shall be done by you.

17. പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പെരുനാള് നിങ്ങള് ആചരിക്കേണം; ഈ ദിവസത്തില് തന്നേയാകുന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഗണങ്ങളെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഈ ദിവസം തലമുറതലമുറയായും നിത്യനിയമമായും നിങ്ങള് ആചരിക്കേണം.

17. And you shall keep this commandment, for on this day will I bring out your force out of the land of Egypt; and you shall make this day a perpetual ordinance for you throughout your generations.

18. ഒന്നാം മാസം പതിന്നാലാം തിയ്യതി വൈകുന്നേരംമുതല് ആ മാസം ഇരുപത്തൊന്നാം തിയ്യതി വൈകുന്നേരംവരെ നിങ്ങള് പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം.

18. Beginning the fourteenth day of the first month, you shall eat unleavened bread from evening, till the twenty-first day of the month, till evening.

19. ഏഴു ദിവസം നിങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളില് പുളിച്ചമാവു കാണരുതു; ആരെങ്കിലും പുളിച്ചതു തിന്നാല് പരദേശിയായാലും സ്വദേശിയായാലും അവനെ യിസ്രായേല്സഭയില് നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം.

19. Seven days leaven shall not be found in your houses; whosoever shall eat anything leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, both among the occupiers of the land and the original inhabitants.

20. പുളിച്ചതു യാതൊന്നും നിങ്ങള് തിന്നരുതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലെല്ലാം പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പം തിന്നേണം.

20. You shall eat nothing leavened, but in every habitation of yours you shall eat unleavened bread.

21. അനന്തരം മോശെ യിസ്രായേല്മൂപ്പനാരെ ഒക്കെയും വിളിച്ചു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ഔരോ ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു പെസഹയെ അറുപ്പിന് .

21. And Moses called all the elders of the children of Israel, and said to them, Go away and take to yourselves a lamb according to your families, and slay the Passover [lamb].

22. ഈസോപ്പുചെടിയുടെ ഒരു കെട്ടു എടുത്തു കിണ്ണത്തിലുള്ള രക്തത്തില് മുക്കി കിണ്ണത്തിലുള്ള രക്തം കുറമ്പടിമേലും കട്ടളക്കാല് രണ്ടിന്മേലും തേക്കേണം; പിറ്റെന്നാള് വെളുക്കുംവരെ നിങ്ങളില് ആരും വീട്ടിന്റെ വാതിലിന്നു പുറത്തിറങ്ങരുതു.

22. And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and having dipped it into some of the blood that is by the door, you shall touch the lintel, and [shall put it] upon both doorposts, even of the blood which is by the door; but none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.

23. യഹോവ മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കടന്നുവരും; എന്നാല് കുറുമ്പടിമേലും കട്ടളക്കാല് രണ്ടിന്മേലും രക്തം കാണുമ്പോള് യഹോവ വാതില് ഒഴിഞ്ഞു കടന്നു പോകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളില് നിങ്ങളെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സംഹാരകന് വരുവാന് സമ്മതിക്കയുമില്ല.

23. And the Lord shall pass by to smite the Egyptians, and shall see the blood upon the lintel, and upon the doorposts; and the Lord shall pass over the door, and shall not allow the destroyer to enter into your houses to kill you.

24. ഈ കാര്യം നീയും പുത്രന്മാരും ഒരു നിത്യനിയമമായി ആചരിക്കേണം.

24. And keep this thing as an ordinance for yourself and for your children forever.

25. യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങള് എത്തിയശേഷം നിങ്ങള് ഈ കര്മ്മം ആചരിക്കേണം.

25. And if you should enter into the land which the Lord shall give you, as He has spoken, keep this service.

26. ഈ കര്മ്മം എന്തെന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ മക്കള് നിങ്ങളോടു ചോദിക്കുമ്പോള്

26. And it shall come to pass, if your sons say to you, What is this service?

27. മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കയില് മിസ്രയീമിലിരുന്ന യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ വീടുകളെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു കടന്നു നമ്മുടെ വീടുകളെ രക്ഷിച്ച യഹോവയുടെ പെസഹയാഗം ആകുന്നു ഇതു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് പറയേണം. അപ്പോള് ജനം കുമ്പിട്ടു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

27. That you shall say to them, This Passover is a sacrifice to the Lord, as He defended the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when He struck the Egyptians, but delivered our houses.

28. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് പോയി അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു. യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവര് ചെയ്തു.

28. And the people bowed and worshipped. And the children of Israel departed and did as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

29. അര്ദ്ധരാത്രിയിലോ, സിംഹാസനത്തിലിരുന്ന ഫറവോന്റെ ആദ്യജാതന് മുതല് കുണ്ടറയില് കിടന്ന തടവുകാരന്റെ ആദ്യജാതന് വരെയും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തിലെ ആദ്യജാതന്മാരെയും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലുകളെയും എല്ലാം യഹോവ സംഹരിച്ചു.

29. And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the captive in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all cattle.

30. ഫറവോനും അവന്റെ സകലഭൃത്യന്മാരും സകല മിസ്രയീമ്യരും രാത്രിയില് എഴുന്നേറ്റു; മിസ്രയീമില് വലിയോരു നിലവിളി ഉണ്ടായി; ഒന്നു മരിക്കാതെ ഒരു വീടും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.

30. And Pharaoh rose up by night, and his servants, and all the Egyptians. And there was a great cry in all the land of Egypt, for there was not a house in which there was not one dead.

31. അപ്പോള് അവന് മോശെയെയും അഹരോനെയും രാത്രിയില് വിളിപ്പിച്ചുനിങ്ങള് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുമായി എഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു, നിങ്ങള് പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ പോയി യഹോവയെ ആരാധിപ്പിന് .

31. And Pharaoh called Moses and Aaron by night, and said to them, Rise and depart from my people, both you and the children of Israel. Go and serve the Lord your God, even as you say.

32. നിങ്ങള് പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ആടുകളെയും കന്നുകാലികളെയും കൂടെ കൊണ്ടുപോയ്ക്കൊള്വിന് ; എന്നെയും അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പിന് എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

32. And take with you your sheep, and your oxen: bless me also, I pray you.

33. മിസ്രയീമ്യര് ജനത്തെ നിര്ബന്ധിച്ചു വേഗത്തില് ദേശത്തുനിന്നു അയച്ചുഞങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും മരിച്ചു പോകുന്നു എന്നു അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.

33. And the Egyptians constrained the people, so that they cast them out of the land with haste, for they said, We all shall die.

34. അതുകൊണ്ടു ജനം കുഴെച്ച മാവു പുളിക്കുന്നതിന്നു മുമ്പെ തൊട്ടികളോടുകൂടെ ശീലകളില് കെട്ടി ചുമലില് എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

34. And the people took their dough before their meal was leavened, bound up as it was in their garments, on their shoulders.

35. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് മോശെയുടെ വചനം അനുസരിച്ചു മിസ്രയീമ്യരോടു വെള്ളിയാഭരണങ്ങളും പൊന്നാഭരണങ്ങളും വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും ചോദിച്ചു.

35. And the children of Israel did as Moses commanded them, and they asked of the Egyptians articles of silver and gold and apparel.

36. യഹോവ മിസ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും ജനത്തോടു കൃപ തോന്നിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് ചോദിച്ചതൊക്കെയും അവര് അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു; അങ്ങനെ അവര് മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ കൊള്ളയിട്ടു.

36. And the Lord gave His people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, and they lent to them; and they plundered the Egyptians.

37. എന്നാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള്, കുട്ടികള് ഒഴികെ ഏകദേശം ആറുലക്ഷം പുരുഷന്മാര് കാല്നടയായി റമസേസില്നിന്നു സുക്കോത്തിലേക്കു യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

37. And the children Israel departed from Rameses to Succoth, [to the full number of] six hundred thousand footmen, even men, besides the baggage.

38. വലിയോരു സമ്മിശ്രപുരുഷാരവും ആടുകളും കന്നുകാലികളുമായി അനവധി മൃഗങ്ങളും അവരോടു കൂടെ പോന്നു.

38. And a great mixed [company] went up with them, and sheep and oxen and very much cattle.

39. മിസ്രയീമില്നിന്നു കൊണ്ടു പോന്ന കുഴെച്ച മാവുകൊണ്ടു അവര് പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത ദോശ ചുട്ടു; അവരെ മിസ്രയീമില് ഒട്ടും താമസിപ്പിക്കാതെ ഔടിച്ചുകളകയാല് അതു പുളിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല; അവര് വഴിക്കു ആഹാരം ഒന്നും ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നതുമില്ല.

39. And they baked the dough which they brought out of Egypt, unleavened cakes, for it had not been leavened; for the Egyptians cast them out, and they could not remain, neither did they prepare provision for themselves for the journey.

40. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് മിസ്രയീമില് കഴിച്ച പരദേശവാസം നാനൂറ്റി മുപ്പതു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു.

40. And the sojourning of the children of Israel, while they sojourned in the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan, was four hundred and thirty years.

41. നാനൂറ്റി മുപ്പതു സംവത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു, ആ ദിവസം തന്നെ, യഹോവയുടെ ഗണങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു.

41. And it came to pass after the four hundred and thirty years, all the forces of the Lord came forth out of the land of Egypt by night.

42. യഹോവ അവരെ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചതിനാല് ഇതു അവന്നു പ്രത്യേകമായി ആചരിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന രാത്രി ആകുന്നു; ഇതു തന്നേ യിസ്രായേല് മക്കള് ഒക്കെയും തലമുറതലമുറയായി യഹോവേക്കു പ്രത്യേകം ആചരിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന രാത്രി.

42. It is a watch kept to the Lord, so that He should bring them out of the land of Egypt; that very night is a watch kept to the Lord, so that it should be to all the children of Israel to their generations.

43. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും കല്പിച്ചതുപെസഹയുടെ ചട്ടം ഇതു ആകുന്നുഅന്യജാതിക്കാരനായ ഒരുത്തനും അതു തിന്നരുതു.

43. And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, This is the law of the Passover: no stranger shall eat of it.

44. എന്നാല് ദ്രവ്യം കൊടുത്തു വാങ്ങിയ ദാസന്നു ഒക്കെയും പരിച്ഛേദന ഏറ്റശേഷം അതു തിന്നാം.

44. And every slave or servant bought with money- him you shall circumcise, and then shall he eat of it.

45. പരദേശിയും കൂലിക്കാരനും അതു തിന്നരുതു.

45. A sojourner or hireling shall not eat of it.

46. അതതു വീട്ടില്വെച്ചു തന്നേ അതു തിന്നേണം; ആ മാംസം ഒട്ടും വീട്ടിന്നു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകരുതു; അതില് ഒരു അസ്ഥിയും ഒടിക്കരുതു.
യോഹന്നാൻ 19:36

46. In one house shall it be eaten, and you shall not carry of the flesh out from the house; and a bone of it you shall not break.

47. യിസ്രായേല്സഭ ഒക്കെയും അതു ആചരിക്കേണം.

47. All the congregation of the children of Israel shall keep it.

48. ഒരു അന്യജാതിക്കാരന് നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പാര്ത്തു യഹോവേക്കു പെസഹ ആചരിക്കേണമെങ്കില്, അവന്നുള്ള ആണൊക്കെയും പരിച്ഛേദന ഏല്ക്കേണം. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അതു ആചരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്നു അടുത്തുവരാം; അവന് സ്വദേശിയെപ്പോലെ ആകും. പരിച്ഛേദനയില്ലാത്ത ഒരുത്തനും അതു തിന്നരുതു.

48. And if any proselyte shall come to you to keep the Passover to the Lord, you shall circumcise every male of him, and then shall he approach to sacrifice it, and he shall be even as the original inhabitant of the land; no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.

49. സ്വദേശിക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിക്കും ഒരു ന്യായ പ്രമാണം തന്നേ ആയിരിക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ഒക്കെയും അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു.

49. There shall be one law to the native, and to the proselyte coming among you.

50. യഹോവ മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവര് ചെയ്തു.

50. And the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron for them, so they did.

51. അന്നു തന്നേ യഹോവ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ ഗണം ഗണമായി മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു.

51. And it came to pass in that day that the Lord brought out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt with their forces.
