1. അവന് എന്നോടുമനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നിവിര്ന്നുനില്ക്ക; ഞാന് നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കും എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

1. And He said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.

2. അവന് എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ചപ്പോള് ആത്മാവു എന്നില് വന്നു എന്നെ നിവിര്ന്നുനിലക്കുമാറാക്കി; അവന് എന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു ഞാന് കേട്ടു.

2. And the Spirit entered into me when He spoke to me, and set me on my feet, so that I heard Him who spoke to me.

3. അവന് എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുമനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, എന്നോടു മത്സരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മത്സരികളായ യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ അടുക്കല് ഞാന് നിന്നെ അയക്കുന്നു; അവരും അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരും ഇന്നുവരെ എന്നോടു അതിക്രമം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

3. And He said to me, Son of man, I am sending you to the sons of Israel, to the nations, the rebelling ones who have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have sinned against Me, to this day.

4. മക്കളോ ധാര്ഷ്ട്യവും ദുശ്ശാഠ്യവും ഉള്ളവരത്രെ; അവരുടെ അടുക്കലാകുന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നെ അയക്കുന്നതു; യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു നീ അവരോടു പറയേണം.

4. And the sons are stiff of face, and hard of heart. I am sending you to them; and you shall say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah.

5. കേട്ടാലും കേള്ക്കാഞ്ഞാലും--അവര് മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ--തങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഒരു പ്രവാചകന് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്നു അവര് അറിയേണം.

5. And they, whether they will hear or whether they will forbear; for they are a rebellious house. Yea, they shall know that there has been a prophet among them.

6. നീയോ, മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, അവരെ പേടിക്കരുതു; പറക്കാരയും മുള്ളും നിന്റെ അരികെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാലും തേളുകളുടെ ഇടയില് നീ പാര്ത്താലും അവരുടെ വാക്കു പേടിക്കരുതു; അവര് മത്സരഗൃഹമല്ലോ; നീ അവരുടെ വാക്കു പേടിക്കരുതു; അവരുടെ നോട്ടം കണ്ടു ഭ്രമിക്കയുമരുതു.

6. And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them, and of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you dwell among scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words, nor frightened by their faces, though they are a rebellious house.

7. അവര് കേട്ടാലും കേള്ക്കാഞ്ഞാലും നീ എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ അവരോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണം; അവര് മഹാമത്സരികള് അല്ലോ.

7. And you shall speak My Words to them, whether they will hear or whether they will forbear, for they are rebellious.

8. നീയോ, മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഞാന് നിന്നോടു സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു കേള്ക്ക; നീ ആ മത്സരഗൃഹംപോലെ മത്സരക്കാരനായിരിക്കരുതു; ഞാന് നിനക്കു തരുന്നതു നീ വായ്തുറന്നു തിന്നുക.

8. But you, son of man, hear what I am saying to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.

9. And I looked, and behold! A hand was extended to me; and lo, a roll of a book was in it.

10. അവന് അതിനെ എന്റെ മുമ്പില് വിടര്ത്തിഅതില് അകത്തും പുറത്തും എഴുത്തുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; വിലാപങ്ങളും സങ്കടവും കഷ്ടവും അതില് എഴുതിയിരുന്നു.

10. And He spread it before me; and it was written on the face and the back. And written on it were weepings, and mourning, and woe.
