1. പന്ത്രണ്ടാം ആണ്ടു, പന്ത്രണ്ടാം മാസം, ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

1. And it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മിസ്രയീംരാജാവായ ഫറവോനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി അവനോടു പറയേണ്ടതുജാതികളില് ബാലസിംഹമായുള്ളോവേ, നീ നശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ കടലിലെ നക്രംപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു; നീ നദികളില് ചാടി കാല്കൊണ്ടു വെള്ളം കലക്കി നദികളെ അഴുക്കാക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

2. 'Son of man, lift up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and thou hast said unto him: A young lion of nations thou hast been like, And thou [art] as a dragon in the seas, And thou comest forth with thy flowings, And dost trouble the waters with thy feet, And thou dost foul their flowings.

3. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് അനേകം ജാതികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ മേല് എന്റെ വലയെ വീശിക്കും; അവര് എന്റെ വലയില് നിന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുക്കും;

3. Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And -- I have spread out for thee My net, With an assembly of many peoples, And they have brought thee up in My net.

4. ഞാന് നിന്നെ കരെക്കു വലിച്ചിടും; നിന്നെ വെളിന് പ്രദേശത്തു എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും; ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവ ഒക്കെയും നിന്റെമേല് ഇരിക്കുമാറാക്കി സര്വ്വഭൂമിയിലെയും മൃഗങ്ങള്ക്കു നിന്നെ ഇരയാക്കി തൃപ്തിവരുത്തും.

4. And I have left thee in the land, On the face of the field I do cast thee out, And have caused to dwell upon thee every fowl of the heavens, And have satisfied out of thee the beasts of the whole earth.

5. ഞാന് നിന്റെ മാംസത്തെ പര്വ്വതങ്ങളിന്മേല് കൂട്ടി നിന്റെ പിണംകൊണ്ടു താഴ്വരകളെ നിറെക്കും.

5. And I have put thy flesh on the mountains, And filled the valleys [with] thy hugeness,

6. ഞാന് നിന്റെ ചെളിനിലത്തെ മലകളോളം നിന്റെ രക്തംകൊണ്ടു നനെക്കും; നീര്ച്ചാലുകള് നിന്നാല് നിറയും.

6. And watered the land with thy flowing, From thy blood -- unto the mountains, And streams are filled from thee.

7. നിന്നെ കെടുത്തുകളയുമ്പോള് ഞാന് ആകാശത്തെ മൂടി അതിലെ നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെ കറുപ്പുടുപ്പിക്കും; ഞാന് സാര്യനെ മേഘംകൊണ്ടു മറെക്കും; ചന്ദ്രന് പ്രകാശം നലകുകയും ഇല്ല.

7. And in quenching thee I have covered the heavens, And have made black their stars, The sun with a cloud I do cover, And the moon causeth not its light to shine.

8. ആകാശത്തിലെ ശോഭയുള്ള ജ്യോതിസ്സുകളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാന് നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം കറുപ്പുടുപ്പിക്കയും നിന്റെ ദേശത്തില് അന്ധകാരം വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

8. All luminaries of light in the heavens, I make black over thee, And I have given darkness over thy land, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah,

9. നിന്റെ നാശം ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിലും നീ അറിയാത്ത ദേശങ്ങളോളവും പ്രസിദ്ധമാക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് അനേക ജാതികളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ വ്യസനിപ്പിക്കും.

9. And I have vexed the heart of many peoples, In My bringing in thy destruction among nations, Unto lands that thou hast not known.

10. ഞാന് അനേകം ജാതികളെ നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി സ്തംഭിക്കുമാറാക്കും; അവരുടെ രാജാക്കന്മാര് കാണ്കെ ഞാന് എന്റെ വാള് വീശുമ്പോള്, അവര് നിന്റെ നിമിത്തം അത്യന്തം പേടിച്ചുപോകും; നിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ നാളില് അവര് ഔരോരുത്തനും താന്താന്റെ പ്രാണനെ ഔര്ത്തു മാത്രതോറും വിറെക്കും.

10. And I have made many peoples astonished at thee, And their kings are afraid at thee with trembling, In My brandishing My sword before their faces, And they have trembled every moment, Each for his life -- in the day of thy fall.

11. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുബാബേല്രാജാവിന്റെ വാള് നിന്റെ നേരെ വരും.

11. For thus said the Lord Jehovah: A sword of the king of Babylon entereth thee,

12. വീരന്മാരുടെ വാള്കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് നിന്റെ പുരുഷാരത്തെ വീഴുമാറാക്കും; അവരെല്ലാവരും ജാതികളില്വെച്ചു ഉഗ്രന്മാര്; അവര് മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ പ്രതാപത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കും; അതിലെ പുരുഷാരമൊക്കെയും നശിച്ചുപോകും.

12. By swords of the mighty I cause thy multitude to fall, The terrible of nations -- all of them, And they have spoiled the excellency of Egypt, And destroyed hath been all her multitude.

13. വളരെ വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികെനിന്നു ഞാന് അതിലെ സകലമൃഗങ്ങളെയും നശിപ്പിക്കും ഇനിമേല് മനുഷ്യന്റെ കാല് അതിനെ കലക്കുകയില്ല; മൃഗങ്ങളുടെ കുളമ്പും അതിനെ കലക്കുകയില്ല.

13. And I have destroyed all her beasts, From beside many waters, And trouble them not doth a foot of man any more, Yea, the hoofs of beasts trouble them not.

14. ആ കാലത്തു ഞാന് അവരുടെ വെള്ളം തെളിയുമാറാക്കി അവരുടെ നദികളെ എണ്ണപോലെ ഒഴുകുമാറാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

14. Then do I cause their waters to sink, And their rivers as oil I cause to go, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

15. ഞാന് മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെ പാഴാക്കി ദേശം ശൂന്യമായി അതിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും ഇല്ലാതാകുമ്പോഴും ഞാന് അതിലെ നിവാസികളെ ഒക്കെയും നശിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോഴും, ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

15. In My making the land of Egypt a desolation, And desolated hath been the land of its fulness, In My smiting all the inhabitants in it, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah.

16. അവര് അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിക്കുന്ന വിലാപം ഇതത്രേ; ജാതികളുടെ പുത്രിമാര് ഇതു ചൊല്ലി വിലപിക്കും; അവര് മിസ്രയീമിനെക്കുറിച്ചും അതിലെ സകലപുരുഷന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചും ഇതു ചൊല്ലി വിലപിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

16. A lamentation it [is], and they have lamented her, Daughters of the nations do lament her, For Egypt, and for all her multitude, they lament her, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.'

17. പന്ത്രണ്ടാം ആണ്ടു, ആ മാസം പതിനഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

17. And it cometh to pass, in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth of the month, hath a word of Jehovah been unto me, saying,

18. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ മിസ്രയീമിലെ പുരുഷാരത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിച്ചു അതിനെയും ശ്രുതിപ്പെട്ട ജാതികളുടെ പുത്രിമാരെയും കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടു കൂടെ ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗത്തു തള്ളിയിടുക.

18. 'Son of man, Wail for the multitude of Egypt, And cause it to go down, It -- and the daughters of honourable nations, Unto the earth -- the lower parts, With those going down to the pit.

19. സൌന്ദര്യത്തില് നീ ആരെക്കാള് വിശേഷപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് കിടക്കുക.

19. Than whom hast thou been more pleasant? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised.

20. വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായവരുടെ നടുവില് അവര് വീഴും; വാള് നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിനെയും അതിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരത്തെയും വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകുവിന് .

20. In the midst of the pierced of the sword they fall, [To] the sword she hath been given, They drew her out, and all her multitude.

21. വീരന്മാരില് ബലവാന്മാരായവര് അവന്റെ സഹായക്കാരോടുകൂടെ പാതാളത്തിന്റെ നടുവില്നിന്നു അവനോടു സംസാരിക്കും; അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളായി വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരയവര് ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അവിടെ കിടക്കുന്നു.

21. Speak to him do the gods of the mighty out of the midst of sheol, With his helpers -- they have gone down, They have lain with the uncircumcised, The pierced of the sword.

22. അവിടെ അശ്ശൂരും അതിന്റെ സര്വ്വസമൂഹവും ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ ശവകൂഴികള് അവന്റെ ചുറ്റും കിടക്കുന്നു; അവരെല്ലാവരും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായി വീണവര് തന്നേ.

22. There [is] Asshur, and all her assembly, Round about him [are] his graves, All of them [are] wounded, who are falling by sword,

23. അവരുടെ ശവകൂഴികള് പാതാളത്തിന്റെ അങ്ങെയറ്റത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ സമൂഹം അതിന്റെ ശവകൂഴിയുടെ ചുറ്റും ഇരിക്കുന്നു; ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു ഭീതി പരത്തിയ അവരെല്ലാവരും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായി വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

23. Whose graves are appointed in the sides of the pit, And her assembly is round about her grave, All of them wounded, falling by sword, Because they gave terror in the land of the living.

24. അവിടെ ഏലാമും അതിന്റെ ശവകൂഴിയുടെ ചുറ്റും അതിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരവും ഉണ്ടു; അവര് എല്ലാവരും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായി വീണു അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളായി ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗത്തു ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു അവര് നീതി പരത്തി; എങ്കിലും കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ അവര് ലജ്ജ വഹിക്കുന്നു.

24. There [is] Elam, and all her multitude, Round about [is] her grave, All of them wounded, who are falling by sword, Who have gone down uncircumcised unto the earth -- the lower parts, Because they gave their terror in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.

25. നിഹതന്മാരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അവര് അതിന്നു അതിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരത്തിന്നും ഒരു കിടക്ക വിരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ശവകൂഴികള് അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവരൊക്കെയും അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളായി വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരാകുന്നു; ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു അവര് ഭീതി പരത്തിയിരിക്കയാല് കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ ലജ്ജ വഹിക്കുന്നു; നിഹതന്മാരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അതു കിടക്കുന്നു.

25. In the midst of the wounded they have appointed a bed for her with all her multitude, Round about him [are] her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For their terror was given in the land of the living, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit, In the midst of the pierced he hath been put.

26. അവിടെ മേശെക്കും തൂബലും അതിന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരവും ഉണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ ശവകൂഴികള് അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു ഭീതി പരത്തിയിരിക്കയാല് അവരൊക്കെയും അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളായി വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്നു.

26. There [is] Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude, Round about him [are] her graves, All of them uncircumcised, pierced of the sword, For they gave their terror in the land of the living,

27. അവര് ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു വീരന്മാര്ക്കും ഭീതി ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ അസ്ഥികളിന്മേല് ചുമന്നും തങ്ങളുടെ വാളുകളെ തലെക്കു കീഴെ വെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളില് പട്ടുപോയ വീരന്മാരായി പടക്കോപ്പോടുകൂടെ പാതാളത്തില് ഇറങ്ങിയവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് കിടക്കേണ്ടതല്ലയോ?

27. And they lie not with the mighty, Who are falling of the uncircumcised, Who have gone down to sheol with their weapons of war, And they put their swords under their heads, And their iniquities are on their bones, For the terror of the mighty [is] in the land of the living.

28. നീയോ അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് തകര്ന്നുപോകയും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായവരോടുകൂടെ കിടക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

28. And thou, in the midst of the uncircumcised art broken, And dost lie with the pierced of the sword.

29. അവിടെ ഏദോമും അതിന്റെ രാജാക്കന്മാരും സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ഉണ്ടു; അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ വല്ലഭത്വത്തില് വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് കിടക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു; അവര് അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളോടും കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടും കൂടെ കിടക്കുന്നു.

29. There [is] Edom, her kings, and all her princes, Who have been given up in their might, With the pierced of the sword, They with the uncircumcised do lie, And with those going down to the pit.

30. അവിടെ വടക്കെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെല്ലാവരും നിഹതന്മാരോടു കൂടെ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയ സകല സീദോന്യരും ഉണ്ടു; അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ വല്ലഭത്വത്താല് പരത്തിയ ഭീതിനിമിത്തം ലജ്ജിക്കുന്നു; അവര് അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളായി വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായവരോടുകൂടെു കിടക്കുകയും കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ ലജ്ജ വഹിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

30. There [are] princes of the north, All of them, and every Zidonian, Who have gone down with the pierced in their terror, Of their might they are ashamed, And they lie uncircumcised with the pierced of the sword, And they bear their shame with those going down to the pit.

31. അവരെ ഫറവോന് കണ്ടു തന്റെ സകലപുരുഷാരത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു ആശ്വസിക്കും; ഫറവോനും അവന്റെ സകലസൈന്യവും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

31. Then doth Pharaoh see, And he hath been comforted for all his multitude, The pierced of the sword -- Pharaoh and all his force, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

32. ഞാനല്ലോ അവന്റെ ഭീതി ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു പരത്തിയതു; ഫറവോനും അവന്റെ പുരുഷാരമൊക്കെയും വാളാല് നിഹതന്മാരായവരോടുകൂടെ അഗ്രചര്മ്മികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് കിടക്കേണ്ടിവരും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

32. For I have given his terror in the land of the living, And he hath been laid down in the midst of the uncircumcised, With the pierced of the sword -- Pharaoh, and all his multitude, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'
