1. യഹോവയുടെ കൈ എന്റെമേല് വന്നു യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവില് എന്നെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു താഴ്വരയുടെ നടുവില് നിറുത്തി; അതു അസ്ഥികള്കൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.

1. The hand of the Lord was vpon me, and caryed me out in ye spirit of ye Lord, and set me downe in ye mids of the field, which was full of bones.

2. അവന് എന്നെ അവയുടെ ഇടയില് കൂടി ചുറ്റിച്ചുറ്റി നടക്കുമാറാക്കി; അവ താഴ്വരയുടെ പരപ്പിന് എത്രയും അധികമായിരുന്നു; അവ ഏറ്റവും ഉണങ്ങിയുമിരുന്നു.

2. And he led me round about by them, and beholde, they were very many in the open fielde, and lo, they were very drie.

3. അവന് എന്നോടുമനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഈ അസ്ഥികള് ജീവിക്കുമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു; അതിന്നു ഞാന് യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവേ, നീ അറിയുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

3. And he sayde vnto me, Sonne of man, can these bones liue? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.

4. അവന് എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുനീ ഈ അസ്ഥികളെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു അവയോടു പറയേണ്ടതുഉണങ്ങിയ അസ്ഥികളേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേള്പ്പിന് !

4. Againe he sayde vnto me, Prophecie vpon these bones and say vnto them, O ye dry bones, heare the word of the Lord.

5. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഈ അസ്ഥികളോടു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളില് ശ്വാസം വരുത്തും.

5. Thus saith the Lord God vnto these bones, Behold, I wil cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall liue.

6. ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെമേല് ഞരമ്പുവെച്ചു മാംസം പിടിപ്പിച്ചു നിങ്ങളെ ത്വക്കുകൊണ്ടു പൊതിഞ്ഞു നിങ്ങള് ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളില് ശ്വാസം വരുത്തും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

6. And I will lay sinewes vpon you, and make flesh growe vpon you, and couer you with skinne, and put breath in you, that ye may liue, and yee shall know that I am the Lord.

7. എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാന് പ്രവചിച്ചു; ഞാന് പ്രവചിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഒരു മുഴക്കം കേട്ടു; ഉടനെ ഒരു ഭൂകമ്പം ഉണ്ടായി, അസ്ഥി അസ്ഥിയോടു വന്നുചേര്ന്നു.

7. So I prophecied, as I was commanded: and as I prophecied, there was a noyse, and beholde, there was a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

8. പിന്നെ ഞാന് നോക്കിഅവയുടെ മേല് ഞരമ്പും മാംസവും വന്നതും അവയുടെമേല് ത്വകൂ പൊതിഞ്ഞതും കണ്ടു; എന്നാല് ശ്വാസം അവയില് ഇല്ലാതെയിരുന്നു.

8. And when I beheld, loe, the sinewes, and the flesh grewe vpon them, and aboue, the skinne couered them, but there was no breath in them.

9. അപ്പോള് അവന് എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുകാറ്റിനോടു പ്രവചിക്ക; മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ പ്രവചിച്ചു കാറ്റിനോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുശ്വാസമേ, നീ നാലു കാറ്റുകളില്നിന്നും വന്നു ഈ നിഹതന്മാര് ജീവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ മേല് ഊതുക.

9. Then sayd he vnto me, Prophecie vnto the winde: prophecie, sonne of man, and say to the winde, Thus sayth the Lord God, Come from the foure windes, O breath, and breathe vpon these slayne, that they may liue.

10. അവന് എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഞാന് പ്രവചിച്ചപ്പോള് ശ്വാസം അവരില് വന്നു; അവര് ജീവിച്ചു ഏറ്റവും വലിയ സൈന്യമായി നിവിര്ന്നുനിന്നു.

10. So I prophecied as hee had commanded me: and the breath came into them, and they liued, and stood vp vpon their feete, an exceeding great armie.

11. പിന്നെ അവന് എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുമനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഈ അസ്ഥികള് ഇസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹമൊക്കെയും ആകുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളുടെ അസ്ഥികള് ഉണങ്ങി, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രത്യാശെക്കു ഭംഗം വന്നു, ഞങ്ങള് തീരേ മുടിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവര് പറയുന്നു.

11. Then he sayd vnto me, Sonne of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. Behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is gone, and we are cleane cut off.

12. അതുകൊണ്ടു നീ പ്രവചിച്ചു അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഎന്റെ ജനമേ, ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ശവകൂഴി തുറന്നു നിങ്ങളെ ശവകൂഴിയില്നിന്നു കയറ്റി യിസ്രായേല്ദേശത്തേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകും.

12. Therefore prophecie, and say vnto them, Thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, my people, I will open your graues, and cause you to come vp out of your sepulchres, and bring you into the lande of Israel,

13. അങ്ങനെ എന്റെ ജനമേ, ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ ശവകൂഴി തുറന്നു നിങ്ങളെ ശവകൂഴിയില്നിന്നു കയറ്റുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

13. And yee shall knowe that I am the Lord, when I haue opened your graues, O my people, and brought you vp out of your sepulchres,

14. നിങ്ങള് ജീവക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ നിങ്ങളില് ആക്കും; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ സ്വദേശത്തു പാര്പ്പിക്കും; യഹോവയായ ഞാന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു നിവര്ത്തിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

14. And shall put my Spirit in you, and ye shall liue, and I shall place you in your owne land: then yee shall knowe that I the Lord haue spoken it, and performed it, sayth the Lord.

15. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്

15. The word of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,

16. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ ഒരു കോല് എടുത്തു അതിന്മേല്യെഹൂദെക്കും അവനോടു ചേര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള്ക്കും എന്നു എഴുതിവെക്ക; പിന്നെ മറ്റൊരു കോല് എടുത്തു അതിന്മേല്എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ കോലായ യോസേഫിന്നും അവനോടു ചേര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേല്ഗൃഹത്തിന്നൊക്കെക്കും എന്നു എഴുതിവെക്ക.

16. Moreouer thou sonne of man, take thee a piece of wood, and write vpon it, Vnto Iudah, and to the children of Israel his companions the take another piece of wood, and write vpon it, Vnto Ioseph the tree of Ephraim, and to al the house of Israel his companions.

17. പിന്നെ നീ അവയെ ഒരു കോലായി ഒന്നോടൊന്നു ചേര്ക്കുംക; അവ നിന്റെ കയ്യില് ഒന്നായിത്തീരും.

17. And thou shalt ioyne the one to another into one tree, and they shalbe as one in thine hand.

18. ഇതിന്റെ താല്പര്യം എന്തെന്നു നീ ഞങ്ങളെ അറിയിക്കയില്ലയോ എന്നു നിന്റെ സ്വജാതിക്കാര് നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കുമ്പോള്, നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു

18. And when the children of thy people shall speake vnto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shewe vs what thou meanest by these?

19. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ കയ്യിലുള്ള യോസേഫിന് കോലിനെയും അവനോടു ചേര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേല്ഗോത്രങ്ങളെയും എടുത്തു അവരെ അവനോടു, യെഹൂദയുടെ കോലിനോടു തന്നേ, ചേര്ത്തു ഒരു കോലാക്കും; അവര് എന്റെ കയ്യില് ഒന്നായിരിക്കും.

19. Thou shalt answere them, Thus sayeth the Lord God, Behold, I wil take the tree of Ioseph, which is in the hande of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellowes, and will put them with him, euen with the tree of Iudah, and make them one tree, and they shalbe one in mine hand.

20. നീ എഴുതിയ കോലുകള് അവര് കാണ്കെ നിന്റെ കയ്യില് ഇരിക്കേണം.

20. And the pieces of wood, whereon thou writest, shalbe in thine hand, in their sight.

21. പിന്നെ നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതുയഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഞാന് യിസ്രായേല് മക്കളെ അവര് ചെന്നു ചേര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു കൂട്ടി നാലുപുറത്തുനിന്നും സ്വരൂപിച്ചു സ്വദേശത്തേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരും.

21. And say vnto them, Thus saith the Lord God, Beholde, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and wil gather them on euery side, and bring them into their owne land.

22. ഞാന് അവരെ ദേശത്തു, യിസ്രായേല് പര്വ്വതങ്ങളില് തന്നേ, ഏകജാതിയാക്കും; ഒരേ രാജാവു അവര്ക്കെല്ലാവര്ക്കും രാജാവായിരിക്കും; അവര് ഇനി രണ്ടു ജാതിയായിരിക്കയില്ല, രണ്ടു രാജ്യമായി പിരികയുമില്ല.

22. And I will make them one people in the lande, vpon the mountaines of Israel, and one king shalbe king to them all: and they shalbe no more two peoples, neither bee deuided any more henceforth into two kingdomes.

23. അവര് ഇനി വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാലും മ്ളേച്ഛതകളാലും യാതൊരു അതിക്രമത്താലും തങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ മലിനമാക്കുകയില്ല; അവര് പാപം ചെയ്ത അവരുടെ സകല വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലുംനിന്നു ഞാന് അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കും; അങ്ങനെ അവര് എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ദൈവമായും ഇരിക്കും.

23. Neither shall they bee polluted any more with their idoles, nor with their abominations, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will saue them out of all their dwelling places, wherein they haue sinned, and will clense them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

24. എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദ് അവര്ക്കും രാജാവായിരിക്കും; അവര്ക്കെല്ലാവര്ക്കും ഒരേ ഇടയന് ഉണ്ടാകും; അവര് എന്റെ വിധികളില് നടന്നു എന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചനുഷ്ഠിക്കും.

24. And Dauid my seruant shalbe king ouer them, and they all shall haue one shepheard: they shall also walke in my iudgements, and obserue my statutes, and doe them.

25. എന്റെ ദാസനായ യാക്കോബിന്നു ഞാന് കൊടുത്തതും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര് പാര്ത്തിരുന്നതും ആയ ദേശത്തു അവര് പാര്ക്കും; അവരും മക്കളും മക്കളുടെ മക്കളും എന്നേക്കും അവിടെ വസിക്കും; എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദ് എന്നേക്കും അവര്ക്കും പ്രഭുവായിരിക്കും.

25. And they shall dwell in the lande, that I haue giuen vnto Iaakob my seruant, where your fathers haue dwelt, and they shall dwel therein, euen they, and their sonnes, and their sonnes sonnes for euer, and my seruant Dauid shall bee their prince for euer.

26. ഞാന് അവരോടു ഒരു സമാധാനനിയമം ചെയ്യും; അതു അവര്ക്കും ഒരു ശാശ്വതനിയമമായിരിക്കും; ഞാന് അവരെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു പെരുക്കി അവരുടെ നടുവില് എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും സ്ഥാപിക്കും.

26. Moreouer, I will make a couenant of peace with them: it shall be an euerlasting couenant with them, and I wil place them, and multiply them, and wil set my Sanctuarie among them for euermore.

27. എന്റെ നിവാസം അവരോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടാകും; ഞാന് അവര്ക്കും ദൈവമായും അവര് എനിക്കു ജനമായും ഇരിക്കും.

27. My tabernacle also shalbe with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shalbe my people.

28. എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരം സദാകാലത്തേക്കും അവരുടെ നടുവില് ഇരിക്കുമ്പോള് ഞാന് യിസ്രായേലിനെ വിശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവയെന്നു ജാതികള് അറിയും.

28. Thus the heathen shall knowe, that I the Lord do sanctifie Israel, when my Sanctuarie shall be among them for euermore.
