1. അവന് എന്നെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രവേശനത്തിങ്കല് മടക്കിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നപ്പോള് ആലയത്തിന്റെ ഉമ്മരപ്പടിയുടെ കീഴെ നിന്നു വെള്ളം കിഴക്കോട്ടു പുറപ്പെടുന്നതു ഞാന് കണ്ടു. ആലയത്തിന്റെ മുഖം കിഴക്കോട്ടല്ലോ; ആ വെള്ളം ആലയത്തിന്റെ വലത്തു ഭാഗത്തു കീഴെനിന്നു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നു തെക്കുവശമായി ഒഴുകി.
വെളിപ്പാടു വെളിപാട് 22:1

1. Then he brought me back to the door of the house. And I saw water flowing from under the doorway toward the east, for the house looked toward the east. The water was flowing from under the right side of the house, from south of the altar.

2. അവന് വടക്കോട്ടുള്ള ഗോപുരത്തില്കൂടി എന്നെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടു ചെന്നു പുറത്തെ വഴിയായി കിഴക്കോട്ടു ദര്ശനമുള്ള ഗോപുരത്തില്കൂടി പുറത്തെ ഗോപുരത്തിലേക്കു ചുറ്റിനടത്തി കൊണ്ടുപോയി; വെള്ളം വലത്തുഭാഗത്തുകൂടി ഒഴുകുന്നതു ഞാന് കണ്ടു.

2. He brought me out through the north gate and led me around on the outside to the east gate. And I saw water coming from the south side.

3. ആ പുരുഷന് കയ്യില് ചരടുമായി കിഴക്കോട്ടു നടന്നു, ആയിരം മുഴം അളന്നു, എന്നെ വെള്ളത്തില് കൂടി കടക്കുമാറാക്കി; വെള്ളം നരിയാണിയോളം ആയി.

3. Going toward the east, the man numbered 500 long steps, and he led me through the water, which covered my feet.

4. അവന് പിന്നെയും ആയിരം മുഴം അളന്നു, എന്നെ വെള്ളത്തില്കൂടി കടക്കുമാറാക്കി; വെള്ളം മുട്ടോളം ആയി; അവന് പിന്നെയും ആയിരം മുഴം അളന്നു, എന്നെ കടക്കുമാറാക്കി; വെള്ളം അരയോളം ആയി.

4. He numbered another 500 long steps and led me through the water, which came up to my knees. He numbered another 500 long steps and led me through the water. This time it came above my legs.

5. Again he numbered 500 long steps, and it was a river that I could not walk through. The water had risen. It was deep enough to swim in, and no one could cross it.

6. He said to me, 'Son of man, do you see this?' Then he brought me back to the side of the river.

7. ഞാന് മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നപ്പോള് നദീതീരത്തു ഇക്കരെയും അക്കരെയും അനവധി വൃക്ഷം നിലക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു.

7. As I returned, I saw that there were very many trees on both sides of the river.

8. അപ്പോള് അവന് എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുഈ വെള്ളം കിഴക്കെ ഗലീലയിലേക്കുു പുറപ്പെട്ടു അരാബയിലേക്കു ഒഴുകി കടലില് വീഴുന്നു; കഴുകിച്ചെന്നു വെള്ളം കടലില് വീണിട്ടു അതിലെ വെള്ളം പത്ഥ്യമായ്തീരും.

8. He said to me, 'These waters go out toward the east country and down into the Arabah, then flow into the Dead sea. When they flow into the sea, the waters there become clean again.

9. എന്നാല് ഈ നദി ചെന്നുചേരുന്നെടത്തൊക്കെയും ചലിക്കുന്ന സകലപ്രാണികളും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കും; ഈ വെള്ളം അവിടെ വന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഏറ്റവും വളരെ മത്സ്യം ഉണ്ടാകും; ഈ നദി ചെന്നു ചേരുന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും അതു പത്ഥ്യമായ്തീര്ന്നിട്ടു സകലവും ജീവിക്കും.

9. Every living thing that gathers where the river goes will live. There will be very many fish, because these waters go there and make the salt water clean. So everything will live where the river goes.

10. അതിന്റെ കരയില് ഏന് -ഗതി മുതല് ഏന് -എഗ്ളയീംവരെ മീന് പിടിക്കാര് നിന്നു വല വീശും; അതിലെ മത്സ്യം മഹാസമുദ്രത്തിലെ മത്സ്യംപോലെ വിവിധജാതിയായി അസംഖ്യമായിരിക്കും.

10. Fishermen will stand beside it. They will have places to spread their nets from Engedi to Eneglaim. The fish will be of many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.

11. എന്നാല് അതിന്റെ ചേറ്റുകണ്ടങ്ങളും കഴിനിലങ്ങളും പത്ഥ്യമായ്വരാതെ ഉപ്പുപടനെക്കായി വിട്ടേക്കും.

11. But its wet places and pools will not be good for animal life. They will be left for salt.

12. നദീതീരത്തു ഇക്കരെയും അക്കരെയും തിന്മാന് തക്ക ഫലമുള്ള സകലവിധ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും വളരും; അവയുടെ ഇല വാടുകയില്ല, ഫലം ഇല്ലാതെപോകയുമില്ല; അതിലെ വെള്ളം വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില്നിന്നു ഒഴുകിവരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവ മാസംതോറും പുതിയ ഫലം കായക്കും; അവയുടെ ഫലം തിന്മാനും അവയുടെ ഇല ചികിത്സക്കും ഉതകും.

12. All kinds of fruit trees will grow on both sides of the river. Their leaves will not dry up, and they will never stop giving fruit. They will give fruit every month because their water flows from the holy place. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.'

13. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിങ്ങള് ദേശത്തെ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ഗോത്രങ്ങള്ക്കും അവകാശമായി വിഭാഗിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന അതിര്വിവരംയോസേഫിന്നു രണ്ടു പങ്കു ഇരിക്കേണം.

13. The Lord God says, 'This is how you should divide the land among the twelve family groups of Israel. Joseph will have two parts.

14. നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും നലകുമെന്നു ഞാന് കൈ ഉയര്ത്തി സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എല്ലാവര്ക്കും ഭേദംകൂടാതെ അതു അവകാശമായി ലഭിക്കേണം; ഈ ദേശം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അവകാശമായി വരും.

14. You must divide the land so each family receives the same amount. For I promised to give this land to your fathers, and it will be your land to own.

15. 'This will be the side of the land: The north side will go from the Great Sea by way of Hethlon, and on to Zedad,

16. സെദാദ്വരെയും ഹമാത്തും ബേരോത്തയും ദമ്മേശെക്കിന്റെ അതിരിന്നും ഹമാത്തിന്റെ അതിരിന്നും ഇടയിലുള്ള സിബ്രയീമും ഹൌറാന്റെ അതിരിങ്കലുള്ള നടുഹാസേരും

16. Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim (between the lands of Damascus and Hamath), and to Hazer-hatticon, by the land of Hauran.

17. ഇങ്ങനെ അതിര് സമുദ്രംമുതല് ദമ്മേശെക്കിന്റെ അതിരിങ്കലും ഹസര്-ഏനാന് വരെ വടക്കെഭാഗത്തു വടക്കോട്ടുള്ള ഹമാത്തിന്റെ അതിരിങ്കലും ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു വടക്കേഭാഗം.

17. So the land will spread from the sea to Hazarenan on the north side of Damascus, with the land of Hamath toward the north. This will be the north side.

18. കിഴക്കു ഭാഗമോ ഹൌറാന് , ദമ്മേശെക്, ഗിലെയാദ് എന്നിവേക്കും യിസ്രായേല്ദേശത്തിന്നും ഇടയില് യോര്ദ്ദാന് ആയിരിക്കേണം; വടക്കെ അതിര് മുതല് കിഴക്കെ കടല്വരെ നിങ്ങള് അളക്കേണം; അതു കിഴക്കെഭാഗം.

18. The east side of the land will go from between Hauran and Damascus along the Jordan between Gilead and the land of Israel, to the sea in the east. This will be the east side.

19. തെക്കുഭാഗമോ തെക്കോട്ടു താമാര്മുതല് മെരീബോത്ത്-കാദേശ് വെള്ളംവരെയും മിസ്രയീം തോടുവരെയും മഹാസമുദ്രംവരെയും ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു തെക്കോട്ടു തെക്കേഭാഗം.

19. The south side of the land will go from Tamar as far as the waters of Meribath-kadesh, then to the River of Egypt and to the Great Sea. This will be the south side.

20. പടിഞ്ഞാറുഭാഗമോതെക്കെ അതിര്മുതല് ഹമാത്തിലേക്കുള്ള തിരിവിന്റെ അറ്റംവരെയും മഹാസമുദ്രം ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു പടിഞ്ഞാറെ ഭാഗം.

20. The west side of the land will be the Great Sea, to a place beside Lebo-hamath. This will be the west side.

21. ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങള് ഈ ദേശത്തെ യിസ്രായേല്ഗോത്രങ്ങള്ക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊള്ളേണം.

21. 'So divide this land among your family groups of Israel.

22. നിങ്ങള് അതിനെ നിങ്ങള്ക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് വന്നു പാര്ക്കുംന്നവരായി നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് മക്കളെ ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പരദേശികള്ക്കും അവകാശമായി ചീട്ടിട്ടു വിഭാഗിക്കേണം; അവര് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ ഇടയില് സ്വദേശികളെപ്പോലെ ആയിരിക്കേണം; നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ അവര്ക്കും യിസ്രായേല്ഗോത്രങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് അവകാശം ലഭിക്കേണം.

22. Divide it by drawing names for yourselves and for the people from other lands who live with you and raise their children among you. You are to think of them as if they were born Israelites. They must be given a share of land with you among the families of Israel.

23. പരദേശി വന്നു പാര്ക്കുംന്ന ഗോത്രത്തില് തന്നേ നിങ്ങള് അവന്നു അവകാശം കൊടുക്കേണം എന്നു യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

23. The man from another country must be given a share of land among the family group he lives with,' says the Lord God.
