1. യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാല്മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ,

1. Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2. മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു യിസ്രായേല്ദേശത്തോടു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഅവസാനം! ദേശത്തിന്റെ നാലുഭാഗത്തും അവസാനം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

2. Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel: 'An end! The end is come upon the four corners of the land.

4. എന്റെ കണ്ണു നിന്നെ ആദരിക്കാതെയും ഞാന് കരുണ കാണിക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകള് നിന്റെ നടുവില് വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

4. And Mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity; but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

5. യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുഒരു അനര്ത്ഥം ഒരു അനര്ത്ഥം ഇതാ, വരുന്നു!

5. Thus saith the Lord GOD: An evil, an only evil, behold, is come!

6. അവസാനം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു! അവസാനം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു! അതു നിന്റെ നേരെ ഉണര്ന്നുവരുന്നു! ഇതാ, അതു വരുന്നു.

6. An end is come, the end is come! It watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.

7. ദേശനിവാസിയേ, ആപത്തു നിനക്കു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; കാലമായി, നാള് അടുത്തു; മലകളില് ആര്പ്പുവിളി; സന്തോഷത്തിന്റെ ആര്പ്പുവിളിയല്ല.

7. The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land; the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.

8. ഇപ്പോള് ഞാന് വേഗത്തില് എന്റെ ക്രോധം നിന്റെമേല് പകര്ന്നു, എന്റെ കോപം നിന്നില് നിവര്ത്തിക്കും; ഞാന് നിന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്നെ ന്യായം വിധിച്ചു നിന്റെ സകലമ്ളേച്ഛതകള്ക്കും നിന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും.

8. Now will I shortly pour out My fury upon thee, and accomplish Mine anger upon thee; and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.

9. എന്റെ കണ്ണു ആദരിക്കാതെയും ഞാന് കരുണ കാണിക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം ഞാന് നിന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകള് നിന്റെ നടുവില് വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും; യഹോവയായ ഞാനാകുന്നു ദണ്ഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നതു എന്നു നിങ്ങള് അറിയും.

9. And Mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity. I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.

10. ഇതാ, നാള്; ഇതാ, അതു വരുന്നു; നിന്റെ ആപത്തു പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; വടി പൂത്തു അഹങ്കാരം തളിര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

10. Behold the day, behold, it is come! The morning is gone forth, the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.

11. സാഹസം ദുഷ്ടതയുടെ വടിയായിട്ടു വളര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരിലോ അവരുടെ കോലാഹലത്തിലോ അവരുടെ സമ്പത്തിലോ ഒന്നും ശേഷിക്കയില്ല; അവരെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലാപം ഉണ്ടാകയുമില്ല.

11. Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs; neither shall there be wailing for them.

12. കാലം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നാള് അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ സകല കോലാഹലത്തിന്മേലും ക്രോധം വന്നിരിക്കയാല് വാങ്ങുന്നവന് സന്തോഷിക്കയും വിലക്കുന്നവന് ദുഃഖിക്കയും വേണ്ടാ.

12. The time is come, the day draweth near. Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller mourn, for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

13. അവര് ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നാലും വിലക്കുന്നവന്നു വിറ്റതു മടക്കിക്കിട്ടുകയില്ല; ദര്ശനം അതിന്റെ സകലകോലാഹലത്തെയും കുറിച്ചുള്ളതാകുന്നു; ആരും മടങ്ങിവരികയില്ല; അകൃത്യത്തില് ജീവിതം കഴിക്കുന്ന ഒരുത്തനും ശക്തി പ്രാപിക്കയില്ല.

13. For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive; for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.

14. അവര് കാഹളം ഊതി സകലവും ഒരുക്കുന്നു; എന്നാല് എന്റെ ക്രോധം അതിന്റെ സകല കോലാഹലത്തിന്മേലും വന്നിരിക്കയാല് ആരും യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പോകുന്നില്ല,

14. They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle, for My wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

15. പുറത്തു വാള്, അകത്തു മഹാമാരിയും ക്ഷാമവും; വയലില് ഇരിക്കുന്നവന് വാള്കൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും; പട്ടണത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്നവന് ക്ഷാമത്തിന്നും മഹാമാരിക്കും ഇരയായിത്തീരും.

15. The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within. He that is in the field shall die with the sword, and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

16. എന്നാല് അവരില്വെച്ചു ചാടിപ്പോകുന്നവര് ചാടിപ്പോകയും ഔരോരുത്തനും താന്താന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു താഴ്വരകളിലെ പ്രാവുകളെപ്പോലെ മലകളില് ഇരുന്നു കുറുകുകയും ചെയ്യും.

16. But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.

17. എല്ലാകൈകളും തളരും; എല്ലാമുഴങ്കാലുകളും വെള്ളംപോലെ ഒഴുകും.

17. All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.

18. അവര് രട്ടുടുക്കും; ഭീതി അവരെ മൂടും; സകലമുഖങ്ങളിലും ലജ്ജയും എല്ലാതലകളിലും കഷണ്ടിയും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും.

18. They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.

19. അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ വെള്ളി വീഥികളില് എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും; പൊന്നു അവര്ക്കും മലമായി തോന്നും; അവരുടെ വെള്ളിക്കും പൊന്നിന്നും യഹോവയുടെ കോപദിവസത്തില് അവരെ വിടുവിപ്പാന് കഴികയില്ല; അതിനാല് അവരുടെ വിശപ്പടങ്ങുകയില്ല, അവരുടെ വയറു നിറകയും ഇല്ല; അതു അവര്ക്കും അകൃത്യഹേതു ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ.

19. They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD. They shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels, because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity.

20. അതുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ആഭരണങ്ങളുടെ ഭംഗി അവര് ഡംഭത്തിന്നായി പ്രയോഗിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവര് തങ്ങള്ക്കു മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും മലിനബിംബങ്ങളെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; ആകയാല് ഞാന് അതു അവര്ക്കും മലമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

20. As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein; therefore have I set it far from them.

21. ഞാന് അതു അന്യന്മാരുടെ കയ്യില് കവര്ച്ചയായും ഭൂമിയിലെ ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്ക്കും കൊള്ളയായും കൊടുക്കും; അവര് അതു അശുദ്ധമാക്കും.

21. And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil, and they shall pollute it.

22. ഞന് എന്റെ മുഖം അവരില്നിന്നു തിരിക്കും. അവര് എന്റെ വിധിയെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കും; കവര്ച്ചക്കാര് അതിന്നകത്തു കടന്നു അതിനെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കും.

22. My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute My secret place; for the robbers shall enter into it and defile it.

23. ദേശം രക്തപാതകംകൊണ്ടും നഗരം സാഹസംകൊണ്ടും നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാല് നീ ഒരു ചങ്ങല ഉണ്ടാക്കുക.

23. Make a chain, for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.

24. ഞാന് ജാതികളില് അതിദുഷ്ടന്മാരായവരെ വരുത്തും; അവര് അവരുടെ വീടുകളെ കൈവശമാക്കും; ഞാന് ബലവാന്മാരുടെ പ്രതാപം ഇല്ലാതെയാക്കും; അവരുടെ വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലങ്ങള് അശുദ്ധമായിത്തീരും.

24. Therefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses. I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease, and their holy places shall be defiled.

25. നാശം വരുന്നു! അവര് സമാധാനം അന്വേഷിക്കും; എന്നാല് അതു ഇല്ലാതെ ഇരിക്കും;

25. Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.

26. അപകടത്തിന്മേല് അപകടവും ശ്രുതിമേല് ശ്രുതിയും വന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും; അവര് പ്രവാചകനോടു ദര്ശനം അന്വേഷിക്കും; എന്നാല് പുരോഹിതന്റെ പക്കല്നിന്നു ഉപദേശവും മൂപ്പന്മാരുടെ പക്കല്നിന്നു ആലോചനയും പൊയ്പോകും.

26. Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumor shall be upon rumor. Then shall they seek a vision of the prophet, but the law shall perish from the priest and counsel from the ancients.

27. രാജാവു ദുഃഖിക്കും പ്രഭു സ്തംഭനം ധരിക്കും; ദേശത്തെ ജനത്തിന്റെ കൈകള് വിറെക്കും; ഞാന് അവരുടെ നടപ്പിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം അവരോടു പകരം ചെയ്യും; അവര്ക്കും ന്യായമായതുപോലെ അവരെ വിധിക്കും; ഞാന് യഹോവ എന്നു അവര് അറിയും.

27. The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled. I will do unto them according to their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.'
