1. അനന്തരം യഹോവ എന്നോടുയിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് അന്യദേവന്മാരോടു ചേര്ന്നു മുന്തിരിയടകളില് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിട്ടും യഹോവ അവരെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നീ ഇനിയും ചെന്നു ഒരു ജാരനാല് സ്നേഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടു വ്യഭിചാരിണിയായിരിക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീയെ സ്നേഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്ക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

4. In the same way the people of Israel will continue many days without a king or a leader. They will be without a sacrifice or a memorial stone. They will be without an ephod or a household god.

5. പിന്നത്തേതില് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് തിരഞ്ഞു തങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെയും തങ്ങളുടെ രാജാവായ ദാവീദിനെയും അന്വേഷിക്കും; ഭാവികാലത്തു അവര് ഭയപ്പെട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കും അവന്റെ നന്മയിങ്കലേക്കും വരും.

5. After this, the people of Israel will come back and look for the Lord their God and for David their king. In the last days they will come to honor the Lord and his goodness.
