1. അഹരോന്റെ രണ്ടുപുത്രന്മാര് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് അടുത്തുചെന്നിട്ടു മരിച്ചുപോയ ശേഷം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്

1. The Lord spoke to Moses after the death of Aaron's two sons, when they had come near the Lord and died.

2. കൃപാസനത്തിന്മീതെ മേഘത്തില് ഞാന് വെളിപ്പെടുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോന് മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് തിരശ്ശീലെക്കകത്തു പെട്ടകത്തിന്മേലുള്ള കൃപാസനത്തിന് മുമ്പില് എല്ലാസമയത്തും വരരുതു എന്നു അവനോടു പറയേണം.

2. The Lord said to Moses, 'Tell your brother Aaron that he must not come just any time into the holy place inside the curtain, in front of the mercy-seat on the special box of the agreement or he will die. For I will show Myself in the cloud over the mercy-seat.

3. പാപയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു കാളക്കിടാവിനോടും ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനോടും കൂടെ അഹരോന് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് കടക്കേണം.

3. Only this way will Aaron go into the holy place, with a bull for a sin gift and a ram for a burnt gift.

4. അവന് പഞ്ഞിനൂല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള വിശുദ്ധമായ അങ്കി ധരിച്ചു ദേഹത്തില് പഞ്ഞിനൂല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള കാല്ചട്ട ഇട്ടു പഞ്ഞിനൂല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള നടുക്കെട്ടു കെട്ടി പഞ്ഞിനൂല്കൊണ്ടുള്ള മുടിയും വെക്കേണം; ഇവ വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രം ആകയാല് അവന് ദേഹം വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകീട്ടു അവയെ ധരിക്കേണം.

4. He will put on the holy linen coat. And the linen under-clothing will be next to his body. He will be wearing the linen belt and the linen head-covering. These are holy clothing. He will wash his body in water and then dress himself.

5. അവന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ സഭയുടെ പക്കല്നിന്നു പാപയാഗത്തിന്നു രണ്ടു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും ഹോമയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും വാങ്ങേണം.

5. He will take from the people of Israel two male goats for a sin gift and one ram for a burnt gift.

6. തനിക്കുവേണ്ടിയുള്ള പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ കാളയെ അഹരോന് അര്പ്പിച്ചു തനിക്കും കുടുംബത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

6. Then Aaron will give the bull as a sin gift for himself, to pay for the sins of himself and those in his house.

7. അവന് ആ രണ്ടു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കല് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നിര്ത്തേണം.

7. He will take the two goats and set them before the Lord at the door of the meeting tent.

8. പിന്നെ അഹരോന് യഹോവേക്കു എന്നു ഒരു ചീട്ടും അസസ്സേലിന്നു എന്നു മറ്റൊരു ചീട്ടും ഇങ്ങനെ രണ്ടു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനും ചീട്ടിടേണം.

8. Aaron will draw names for the two goats, choosing one for the Lord and the other to be sent away.

9. യഹോവേക്കുള്ള ചീട്ടു വീണ കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ അഹരോന് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു പാപയാഗമായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം.

9. Then Aaron will bring the goat that was chosen for the Lord and give it as a sin gift.

10. അസസ്സേലിന്നു ചീട്ടു വീണ കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയോ, അതിനാല് പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും അതിനെ അസസ്സേലിന്നു മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു വിട്ടയക്കേണ്ടതിന്നുമായി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ജീവനോടെ നിര്ത്തേണം.

10. But the goat that was chosen to be sent away will be brought alive before the Lord, for the taking away of sin. And it will be sent into the desert.

11. പിന്നെ തനിക്കു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ കാളയെ അഹരോന് അര്പ്പിച്ചു തനിക്കും കുടുംബത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിച്ചു തനിക്കു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ കാളയെ അറുക്കേണം.

11. 'Then Aaron will give the bull as the sin gift for himself, to pay for the sins of himself and those in his house. He will kill the bull as the sin gift for himself.

12. അവന് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ഉള്ള തീക്കനല് ഒരു കലശത്തില്നിറെച്ചു സൌരഭ്യമുള്ള ധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗചൂര്ണ്ണം കൈനിറയ എടുത്തു തിരശ്ശീലക്കകത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.

12. He will take a fire pan full of fire from the altar before the Lord, and enough fine, ground, sweet perfume to fill two hands. And he will bring it inside the curtain.

13. താന് മരിക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ധൂപത്തിന്റെ മേഘം സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്മേലുള്ള കൃപാസനത്തെ മറെപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവന് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് ധൂപവര്ഗ്ഗം തീയില് ഇടേണം.

13. He will put the special perfume on the fire before the Lord so that the cloud of the special perfume covers the mercy-seat on the special box of the agreement or he will die.

14. അവന് കാളയുടെ രക്തം കുറെ എടുത്തു വിരല്കൊണ്ടു കിഴക്കോട്ടു കൃപാസനത്തിന്മേല് തളിക്കേണം; അവന് രക്തം കുറെ തന്റെ വിരല്കൊണ്ടു കൃപാസനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിലും ഏഴു പ്രവാശ്യം തളിക്കേണം.

14. He will take some of the bull's blood and put it with his finger on the east side of the mercy-seat. And with his finger he will put some of the blood seven times in front of the mercy-seat.

15. 'Then he will kill the goat as the sin gift for the people. He will bring its blood inside the curtain, and do the same with its blood as he did with the bull's blood. He will put it on the seat and in front of the mercy-seat.

16. യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ അശുദ്ധികള്നിമിത്തവും അവരുടെ സകലപാപവുമായ ലംഘനങ്ങള്നിമിത്തവും അവന് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; അവരുടെ ഇടയില് അവരുടെ അശുദ്ധിയുടെ നടുവില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും അവന് അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്യേണം.

16. He will make the holy place, and also the meeting tent which is in the center of the camp, clean and pure because all the sins of the people make them unclean.

17. അവന് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിപ്പാന് കടന്നിട്ടു പുറത്തു വരുന്നതുവരെ സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കരുതു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവന് തനിക്കും കുടുംബത്തിന്നും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സര്വ്വസഭെക്കും വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

17. When he goes in to pay for sins in the holy place, no one will be in the meeting tent until he comes out. He will pay for the sins of himself, of those in his house, and of all the people of Israel.

18. പിന്നെ അവന് യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിലുള്ള യാഗപീഠത്തിങ്കല് ചെന്നു അതിന്നും പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം. കാളയുടെ രക്തവും കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്റെ രക്തവും കുറേശ്ശ എടുത്തു പീഠത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പുകളില് ചുറ്റും പുരട്ടേണം.

18. Then he will go out to the altar before the Lord and make it clean and pure. He will take some of the bull's blood and goat's blood and put it on the horns of the altar on all sides.

19. അവന് രക്തം കുറെ വിരല്കൊണ്ടു ഏഴു പ്രാവശ്യം അതിന്മേല് തളിച്ചു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ അശുദ്ധികളെ നീക്കി വെടിപ്പാക്കി ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം.

19. With his finger he will put some of the blood on the altar seven times so it will be clean. He will set it apart from what is unclean among the people of Israel.

20. അവന് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നും സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിച്ചു തീര്ന്നശേഷം ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്ന കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ കൊണ്ടു വരേണം.

20. 'When he finishes making the holy place, the meeting tent and the altar free from sin, he will give the live goat.

21. ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്ന കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്റെ തലയില് അഹരോന് കൈ രണ്ടും വെച്ചു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ എല്ലാകുറ്റങ്ങളും സകലപാപങ്ങളുമായ ലംഘനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞു കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന്റെ തലയില് ചുമത്തി, നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു ആളുടെ കൈവശം അതിനെ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു അയക്കേണം.
എബ്രായർ 10:4

21. Aaron will lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and tell of all the sins and wrong-doings of the people of Israel. He will lay them upon the head of the goat and send it away into the place where no people live by the hand of a man ready to help.

22. കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റന് അവരുടെ കുറ്റങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്തേക്കു ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു പോകേണം; അവന് കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ മരുഭൂമിയില് വിടേണം.

22. The goat will carry upon itself all their sins to a land where no one lives. Then the man will let the goat go free there.

23. പിന്നെ അഹരോന് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തില് വന്നു താന് വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് കടന്നപ്പോള് ധരിച്ചിരുന്ന പഞ്ഞിനൂല്വസ്ത്രം നീക്കി അവിടെ വെച്ചേക്കണം.

23. 'Aaron will come into the meeting tent. He will take off the linen clothing he put on when he went into the holy place. And he will leave them there.

24. അവന് ഒരു വിശുദ്ധസ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു വെള്ളംകൊണ്ടു ദേഹം കഴുകി സ്വന്തവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു പുറത്തു വന്നു തന്റെ ഹോമയാഗവും ജനത്തിന്റെ ഹോമയാഗവും അര്പ്പിച്ചു തനിക്കും ജനത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

24. He will wash his body with water in a holy place and put on his clothes. Then he will come out and give his burnt gift and the people's burnt gift, to pay for the sins of himself and the people.

25. അവന് പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ മേദസ്സു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം.

25. He will burn the fat of the sin gift on the altar.

26. ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ അസസ്സേലിന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോയി വിട്ടവന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ദേഹം വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകീട്ടു മാത്രമേ പാളയത്തില് വരാവു.

26. The man who let the goat carry away the sins will wash his clothes and wash his body with water. Then he may come among the tents.

27. വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തില് പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു രക്തം കൊണ്ടുപോയ പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ കാളയെയും കോലാട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം; അവയുടെ തോലും മാംസവും ചാണകവും തീയില് ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം.
എബ്രായർ 13:11-13

27. The bull and the goat for the sin gift, whose blood was brought in to pay for sins in the holy place, will be taken away from the tents. Their skin, their flesh and their waste will be burned with fire.

28. അവയെ ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞവന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ദേഹം വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകീട്ടു മാത്രമേ പാളയത്തില് വരാവു.

28. Whoever burns them will wash his clothes and wash his body with water. Then he may come among the tents.

29. ഇതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം; ഏഴാം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി നിങ്ങള് ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്യേണം; സ്വദേശിയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിയും യാതൊരു വേലെയും ചെയ്യരുതു.

29. 'This will be a Law forever for you. On the tenth day of the seventh month, you must get rid of your pride and not do any work, both those who live in the land and those who visit from another land.

30. ആ ദിവസത്തില് അല്ലോ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് നിങ്ങളെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കയും നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലപാപങ്ങളും നീക്കി നിങ്ങളെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നതു.
എബ്രായർ 9:7-12-28

30. For on this day your sin will be taken away and you will be clean. You will be made free from all your sins before the Lord.

31. അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിശുദ്ധസ്വസ്ഥതയുള്ള ശബ്ബത്ത് ആയിരിക്കേണം. നിങ്ങള് ആത്മ തപനം ചെയ്യേണം; അതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടമാകുന്നു.

31. It is to be a special Day of Rest for you, that you may be free from pride. It is a Law forever.

32. അപ്പന്നു പകരം പുരോഹിതശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്വാന് അഭിഷേകം പ്രാപിക്കയും പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്ത പുരോഹിതന് തന്നേ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

32. The chosen religious leader who is set apart to work as religious leader in his father's place will pay for the sin. He will put on the holy linen clothing

33. അവന് വിശുദ്ധവസ്ത്രമായ പഞ്ഞിനൂല്വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നു പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്നും യാഗപീഠത്തിന്നും പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; പുരോഹിതന്മാര്ക്കും സഭയിലെ സകലജനത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.

33. and make the holy place, the meeting tent and the altar free from sin. He will make the religious leaders and all the people free from sin also.

34. സംവത്സരത്തില് ഒരിക്കല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള്ക്കുവേണ്ടി അവരുടെ സകലപാപങ്ങള്ക്കായിട്ടും പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഇതു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം; യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ അവന് ചെയ്തു.

34. This will be a Law forever for you. The people of Israel must be made free from all their sins once a year.' And Moses did what the Lord told him to do.
