1. യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു

1. And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

2. യഹോവ കല്പിച്ച ന്യായപ്രമാണമെന്തെന്നാല്കളങ്കവും ഊനവുമില്ലാത്തതും നുകം വെക്കാത്തതുമായ ഒരു ചുവന്ന പശുക്കിടാവിനെ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരുവാന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു പറക.

2. This {is} the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, in which {is} no blemish, {and} upon which never came a yoke:

3. നിങ്ങള് അതിനെ പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെ പക്കല് ഏല്പിക്കേണം; അവന് അതിനെ പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തുകൊണ്ടുപോകയും ഒരുവന് അതിനെ അവന്റെ മുമ്പില്വെച്ചു അറുക്കയും വേണം.

3. And ye shall give her to Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and {one} shall slay her before his face:

4. പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാര് വിരല്കൊണ്ടു അതിന്റെ രക്തം കുറെ എടുത്തു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിന്റെ മുന് ഭാഗത്തിന്നു നേരെ ഏഴു പ്രാവശ്യം തളിക്കേണം.

4. And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times:

5. അതിന്റെ ശേഷം പശുക്കിടാവിനെ അവന് കാണ്കെ ചുട്ടു ഭസ്മീകരിക്കേണം; അതിന്റെ തോലും മാംസവും രക്തവും ചാണകവും കൂടെ ചുടേണം.

5. And {one} shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:

6. പിന്നെ പുരോഹിതന് ദേവദാരു, ഈസോപ്പു, ചുവപ്പുനൂല് എന്നിവ എടുത്തു പശുക്കിടാവിനെ ചുടുന്ന തീയുടെ നടുവില് ഇടേണം.
എബ്രായർ 9:19

6. And the priest shall take cedar-wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast {it} into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

7. അനന്തരം പുരോഹിതന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ദേഹം വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകിയശേഷം പാളയത്തിലേക്കു വരികയും സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കയും വേണം.

7. Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.

8. അതിനെ ചുട്ടവനും വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി ദേഹം വെള്ളത്തില് കഴുകുകയും സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കയും വേണം.

8. And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.

9. പിന്നെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള ഒരുത്തന് പശുക്കിടാവിന്റെ ഭസ്മം വാരി പാളയത്തിന്നു പുറത്തു വെടിപ്പുള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥലത്തു വെക്കേണം; അതു യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ സഭെക്കുവേണ്ടി ശുദ്ധീകരണജലത്തിന്നായി സൂക്ഷിച്ചുവെക്കേണം; അതു ഒരു പാപയാഗം.
എബ്രായർ 9:13

9. And a man {that is} clean shall gather the ashes of the heifer, and lay {them} without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel, for a water of separation: it {is} a purification for sin.

10. പശുക്കിടാവിന്റെ ഭസ്മം വാരിയവനും വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള്ക്കും അവരുടെ ഇടയില് വന്നു പാര്ക്കുംന്ന പരദേശിക്കും ഇതു എന്നേക്കുമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം.

10. And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening: and it shall be to the children of Israel, and to the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.

11. യാതൊരു മനുഷ്യന്റെയും ശവം തൊടുന്നവന് ഏഴു ദിവസം അശുദ്ധന് ആയിരിക്കേണം.

11. He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.

12. അവന് മൂന്നാം ദിവസവും ഏഴാം ദിവസവും ആ വെള്ളംകൊണ്ടു തന്നെത്താന് ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കേണം; അങ്ങനെ അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനാകും; എന്നാല് മൂന്നാം ദിവസം തന്നെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാഞ്ഞാല് ഏഴാം ദിവസം അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനാകയില്ല.

12. He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he shall not purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

13. മരിച്ചുപോയ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ ശവം ആരെങ്കിലും തൊട്ടിട്ടു തന്നെത്താന് ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാഞ്ഞാല് അവന് യഹോവയുടെ തിരുനിവാസത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു; അവനെ യിസ്രായേലില് നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം; ശുദ്ധീകരണ ജലംകൊണ്ടു അവനെ തളിച്ചില്ല; അവന് അശുദ്ധന് . അവന്റെ അശുദ്ധി അവന്റെ മേല് നിലക്കുന്നു.

13. Whoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness {is} yet upon him.

14. കൂടാരത്തില്വെച്ചു ഒരുത്തന് മരിച്ചാലുള്ള ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആവിതുആ കൂടാരത്തില് കടക്കുന്ന ഏവനും കൂടാരത്തില് ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും ഏഴുദിവസം അശുദ്ധന് ആയിരിക്കേണം.

14. This {is} the law, when a man dieth in a tent: all that come into the tent, and all that {is} in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

15. മൂടിക്കെട്ടാതെ തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്ന പാത്രമെല്ലാം അശുദ്ധമാകും.

15. And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, {is} unclean.

16. വെളിയില്വെച്ചു വാളാല് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട ഒരുത്തനെയോ മരിച്ചുപോയ ഒരുത്തനെയോ മനുഷ്യന്റെ അസ്ഥിയെയോ ഒരു ശവകൂഴിയെയോ തൊടുന്നവന് എല്ലാം ഏഴു ദിവസം അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം.

16. And whoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

17. അശുദ്ധനായിത്തീരുന്നവന്നുവേണ്ടി പാപയാഗം ചുട്ട ഭസ്മം എടുത്തു ഒരു പാത്രത്തില് ഇട്ടു അതില് ഉറവു വെള്ളം ഒഴിക്കേണം.
എബ്രായർ 9:13

17. And for an unclean {person} they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put to it in a vessel:

18. പിന്നെ ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള ഒരുത്തന് ഈസോപ്പു എടുത്തു വെള്ളത്തില് മുക്കി കൂടാരത്തെയും സകലപാത്രങ്ങളെയും അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ആളുകളെയും അസ്ഥിയെയോ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട ഒരുത്തനെയോ മരിച്ചു പോയ ഒരുത്തനെയോ ഒരു ശവകൂഴിയെയോ തൊട്ടവനെയും തളിക്കേണം.

18. And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip {it} in the water, and sprinkle {it} upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:

19. ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവന് അശുദ്ധനായ്തീര്ന്നവനെ മൂന്നാം ദിവസവും ഏഴാം ദിവസവും തളിക്കേണം; ഏഴാം ദിവസം അവന് തന്നെ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു വസ്ത്രം അലക്കി വെള്ളത്തില് തന്നെത്താന് കഴുകേണം; സന്ധ്യെക്കു അവന് ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവനാകും.

19. And the clean {person} shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening.

20. എന്നാല് ആരെങ്കിലും അശുദ്ധനായ്തീര്ന്നിട്ടു തന്നെത്താന് ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാഞ്ഞാല് അവനെ സഭയില് നിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം; അവന് യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരം അശുദ്ധമാക്കി; ശുദ്ധീകരണജലംകൊണ്ടു അവനെ തളിച്ചില്ല; അവന് അശുദ്ധന് .

20. But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him: he {is} unclean.

21. ഇതു അവര്ക്കും എന്നേക്കുാമുള്ള ചട്ടം ആയിരിക്കേണം; ശുദ്ധീകരണ ജലം തളിക്കുന്നവന് വസ്ത്രം അലക്കേണം; ശുദ്ധീകരണ ജലം തൊടുന്നവനും സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധന് ആയിരിക്കേണം.

21. And it shall be a perpetual statute to them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until the evening.

22. അശുദ്ധന് തൊടുന്നതു എല്ലാം അശുദ്ധമാകും; അതു തൊടുന്നവനും സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം.

22. And whatever the unclean {person} toucheth shall be unclean; and the soul that toucheth {it} shall be unclean until the evening.
