1. കലഹം ശമിച്ചശേഷം പൌലൊസ് ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടു യാത്രപറഞ്ഞു മക്കെദോന്യെക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോയി.

1. Now whan the vproure was ceassed, Paul called the disciples vnto him, and toke his leue of them, and departed to go in to Macedonia.

2. ആ പ്രദേശങ്ങളില് കൂടി സഞ്ചരിച്ചു അവരെ ഏറിയോന്നു പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടു യവനദേശത്തു എത്തി.

2. And whan he had gone thorow those partes, and exhorted them with many wordes, he came into Grekelonde,

3. അവിടെ മൂന്നു മാസം കഴിച്ചിട്ടു സുറിയെക്കു കപ്പല് കയറിപ്പോകുവാന് ഭാവിക്കുമ്പോള് യെഹൂദന്മാര് അവന്റെ നേരെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടു ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയാല് മക്കെദോന്യവഴിയായി മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുവാന് നിശ്ചയിച്ചു.

3. and there abode thre monethes. But whan the Iewes layed wayte for him, as he was aboute to sayle in to Syria, he purposed to turne agayne thorow Macedonia.

4. ബെരോവയിലെ പുറൊസിന്റെ മകന് സോപത്രൊസും തെസ്സലോനിക്ക്യരായ അരിസ്തര്ഹൊസും സെക്കുന്തൊസും ദെര്ബ്ബെക്കാരനായ ഗായൊസും തിമൊഥെയൊസും ആസ്യക്കാരായ തുഹിക്കൊസും ത്രൊഫിമൊസും ആസ്യവരെ അവനോടു കൂടെ പോയി.

4. There accompanied him in to Asia, Sopater of Berrea: and of Thessalonica, Aristarchus and Secundus: and Gaius of Derba, and Timotheus: but of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.

5. അവര് മുമ്പെ പോയി ത്രോവാസില് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കായി കാത്തിരുന്നു.

5. These wente before, and taried for vs at Troada:

6. ഞങ്ങളോ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പെരുനാള് കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഫിലിപ്പിയില് നിന്നു കപ്പല് കയറി അഞ്ചു ദിവസംകൊണ്ടു ത്രോവാസില് അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് എത്തി, ഏഴു ദിവസം അവിടെ പാര്ത്തു.

6. but we sayled after the Easter dayes from Philippos, vnto ye fyfth daye, and came to them vnto Troada, and taried there seuen dayes.

7. ആഴ്ചവട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ദിവസത്തില് ഞങ്ങള് അപ്പം നുറുക്കുവാന് കൂടിവന്നപ്പോള് പൌലൊസ് പിറ്റെന്നാള് പുറപ്പെടുവാന് ഭാവിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവരോടു സംഭാഷിച്ചു പാതിരവരെയും പ്രസംഗം നീട്ടി.

7. Vpon one of the Sabbathes, whan the disciples came together to breake bred, Paul preached vnto them, wyllinge to departe on the morow, and contynued the preachinge vnto mydnight.

8. ഞങ്ങള് കൂടിയിരുന്ന മാളികയില് വളരെ വിളകൂ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവിടെ യൂത്തിക്കൊസ് എന്ന യൌവനക്കാരന് കിളിവാതില്ക്കല് ഇരുന്നു ഗാഢനിദ്ര പിടിച്ചു.

8. And there were many lightes in the chamber, where they were gathered together.

9. പൌലൊസ് വളരെ നേരം സംഭാഷിക്കയാല് നിദ്രാവശനായി മൂന്നാം തട്ടില് നിന്നു താഴെ വീണു; അവനെ മരിച്ചവനായി എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

9. There sat a yonge man named Eutychos, in a wyndow, and fell in to a depe slepe (whyle Paul was speakinge) and was ouercome with slepe, and fell downe from the thirde lofte, and was taken vp deed.

10. പൌലൊസ് ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു അവന്റെമേല് വീണു തഴുകി ഭ്രമിക്കേണ്ടാ; അവന്റെ പ്രാണന് അവനില് ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10. But Paul wente downe, and fell on him, and enbraced him, and sayde: Make nothinge a doo, for his soule is in hi.

11. പിന്നെ അവന് കയറിച്ചെന്നു അപ്പം നുറുക്കി തിന്നു പുലരുവോളം സംഭാഷിച്ചു പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോയി.

11. Then wente he vp, and brake the bred, and ate, and talked moch with the, tyll the daye brake, and so departed.

12. അവര് ആ ബാലനെ ജീവനുള്ളവനായി കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അത്യന്തം ആശ്വസിച്ചു.

12. As for the yoge man, they broughte him alyue, and were not a litle conforted.

13. ഞങ്ങള് മുമ്പായി കപ്പല് കയറ്റി പൌലൊസിനെ അസ്സൊസില് വെച്ചു കയറ്റിക്കൊള്വാന് വിചാരിച്ചു അവിടേക്കു ഔടി; അവന് കാല്നടയായി വരുവാന് വിചാരിച്ചു ഇങ്ങനെ ചട്ടംകെട്ടിയിരുന്നു.

13. But we wente afore in to the shippe, and sayled towarde Asson, wyllinge there to receaue Paul. For so had he appoynted, and wolde himselfe go on fote.

14. അവന് അസ്സൊസില് ഞങ്ങളോടു ചേര്ന്നപ്പോള് അവനെ കയറ്റി മിതുലേനയില് എത്തി;

14. Whan he was come to vs vnto Asson, we toke him in, and came to Mitylenes,

15. അവിടെ നിന്നു നീക്കി, പിറ്റെന്നാള് ഖിയൊസ് ദ്വീപിന്റെ തൂക്കില് എത്തി, മറുനാള് സാമൊസ് ദ്വീപില് അണഞ്ഞു. പിറ്റേന്നു മിലേത്തൊസില് എത്തി.

15. and sayled from thence, and came on the nexte daye ouer agaynst Chios, and on the daye folowinge we aryued at Samos, and taried at Tragilion, and on the nexte daye came we to Mileton:

16. കഴിയും എങ്കില് പെന്തകൊസ്ത് നാളേക്കു യെരൂശലേമില് എത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു പൌലൊസ് ബദ്ധപ്പെടുകയാല് ആസ്യയില് കാലതാമസം വരരുതു എന്നുവെച്ചു എഫെസൊസില് അടുക്കാതെ ഔടേണം എന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരുന്നു.

16. for Paul had determed to sayle ouer by Ephesus, that he nede not to spende the tyme in Asia: for he haisted to be at Ierusalem vpo the Whitsondaye, yf it were possible for him.

17. മിലേത്തൊസില് നിന്നു അവന് എഫെസൊസിലേക്കു ആളയച്ചു സഭയിലെ മൂപ്പന്മാരെ വരുത്തി.

17. But from Mileton he sent vnto Ephesus, and called for the Elders of the congregacion.

18. അവര് അവന്റെ അടുക്കല് വന്നപ്പോള് അവന് അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു

18. Whan they were come to him, he sayde vnto them: Ye knowe sence the first daye that I came in to Asia, after what maner I haue bene with you at all tyme,

19. ഞാന് ആസ്യയില് വന്ന ഒന്നാം നാള് മുതല് എല്ലായ്പോഴും നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ എങ്ങനെയിരുന്നു എന്നും വളരെ താഴ്മയോടും കണ്ണുനീരോടും യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുകളാല് എനിക്കു ഉണ്ടായ കഷ്ടങ്ങളോടും കൂടെ

19. and serued ye LORDE with all humblenesse of mynde, and with many teares and tentacions, which happened vnto me by ye layenges of wayte of the Iewes,

20. കര്ത്താവിനെ സേവിച്ചു വന്നു എന്നും പ്രായോജനമുള്ളതു ഒന്നും മറെച്ചുവെക്കാതെ പരസ്യമായും വീടുതോറും നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയക്കയും ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്തു എന്നും

20. how yt I haue kepte backe nothinge yt was profitable, but that I haue shewed you, and taughte you openly, and priuately from house to house.

21. ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്കുള്ള മാനസാന്തരവും നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസവും യെഹൂദന്മാര്ക്കും യവനന്മാര്ക്കും സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചു എന്നും നിങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

21. And haue testifyed both vnto the Iewes & to the Grekes the repentaunce towarde God, and faith towarde oure LORDE Iesus.

22. ഇപ്പോള് ഇതാ ഞാന് ആത്മാവിനാല് ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവാനയി യേരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോകുന്നു.

22. And now beholde, I go bounde in ye sprete vnto Ierusale, not knowinge what shal happen there vnto me,

23. ബന്ധനങ്ങളും കഷ്ടങ്ങളും എനിക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു പട്ടണം തോറും സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നതല്ലാതെ അവിടെ എനിക്കു നേരിടുവാനുള്ള ഒന്നും ഞാന് അറിയുന്നില്ല.

23. but yt the holy goost witnesseth in euery cite, and sayeth, that bondes and troubles abyde me there.

24. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ വിലയേറിയതായി എണ്ണുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ ഔട്ടവും ദൈവകൃപയുടെ സുവിശേഷത്തിന്നു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയേണ്ടതിന്നു കര്ത്താവായ യേശുതന്ന ശുശ്രൂഷയും തികെക്കേണം എന്നേ എനിക്കുള്ളു.

24. But I regarde none of them, nether counte I my life dearer then my selfe, that I maye fulfyll my course with ioye, and the office yt I haue receaued of the LORDE Iesu, to testifye the Gospell of the grace of God.

25. എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ദൈവരാജ്യം പ്രസംഗിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു നടന്നവനായ എന്റെ മുഖം നിങ്ങള് ആരും ഇനി കാണ്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

25. And now beholde, I knowe that ye shal se my face nomore, all ye, thorow whom I haue gone, and preached the kyngdome of God.

26. അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളില് ആരെങ്കിലും നശിച്ചുപോയാല് ഞാന് കുറ്റക്കാരനല്ല എന്നു ഞാന് ഇന്നേ ദിവസം നിങ്ങളോടു സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.

26. Wherfore I take you to recorde this daye, that I am pure from the bloude of all men:

27. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലോചന ഒട്ടും മറെച്ചുവെക്കാതെ ഞാന് മുഴുവനും അറിയിച്ചുതന്നിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

27. For I haue kepte nothinge backe, but haue shewed you all the councell off God.

28. നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേയും താന് സ്വന്തരക്തത്താല് സമ്പാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സഭയെ മേയ്പാന് പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു നിങ്ങളെ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷരാക്കിവെച്ച ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടം മുഴുവനെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്വിന് .

28. Take hede therfore vnto youre selues, and to all the flocke, amonge the which the holy goost hath set you to be Bishoppes, to fede the congregacion of God, which he hath purchaced thorow his owne bloude.

29. ഞാന് പോയ ശേഷം ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടത്തെ ആദരിക്കാത്ത കൊടിയ ചെന്നായ്ക്കള് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് കടക്കും എന്നു ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

29. For this I knowe, that after my departinge there shal enter in amonge you greuous wolues, which shal not spare the flocke.

30. ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ തങ്ങളുടെ പിന്നാലെ വലിച്ചുകളവാനായി വിപരീതോപദേശം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാര് നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് നിന്നും എഴുന്നേലക്കും.

30. Yee eue from amonge youre awne selues shal men aryse, speakynge peruerse doctryne, to drawe disciples after them.

31. അതു കൊണ്ടു ഉണര്ന്നിരിപ്പിന് ; ഞാന് മൂന്നു സംവത്സരം രാപ്പകല് ഇടവിടാതെ കണ്ണുനീര് വാര്ത്തുംകൊണ്ടു ഔരോരുത്തന്നു ബുദ്ധിപറഞ്ഞുതന്നതു ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് .

31. Therfore awake, and remembre, that by the space of thre yeares I ceassed not to warne euery one off you both nighte and daye with teares.

32. നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ആത്മികവര്ദ്ധന വരുത്തുവാനും സകല വിശുദ്ധന്മാരോടുംകൂടെ അവകാശം തരുവാനും കഴിയുന്ന ദൈവത്തിലും അവന്റെ കൃപയുടെ വചനത്തിലും ഞാന് ഇപ്പോള് നിങ്ങളെ ഭരമേല്പിക്കുന്നു.
ആവർത്തനം 33:3-4

32. And now brethren I commende you vnto God, and to ye worde of his grace, which is mightie to edifye you, and to geue you the enheritaunce amoge all them that are sanctified.

33. ആരുടെയും വെള്ളിയോ പൊന്നോ വസ്ത്രമോ ഞാന് മോഹിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

33. I haue not desyred syluer, golde or rayment off eny off you.

34. എന്റെ മുട്ടിനും എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ളവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി ഞാന് ഈ കൈകളാല് അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചു എന്നു നങ്ങള് തന്നേ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

34. For ye youre selues knowe, that these handes haue mynistred vnto my necessities, and them that were with me.

35. ഇങ്ങനെ പ്രയത്നം ചെയ്തു പ്രാപ്തിയില്ലാത്തവരെ സാഹായിക്കയും, വാങ്ങുന്നതിനെക്കാള് കൊടുക്കുന്നതു ഭാഗ്യം എന്നു കര്ത്താവായ യേശുതാന് പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കു ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്കയും വേണ്ടതു എന്നു ഞാന് എല്ലാം കൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

35. I haue shewed you all thinges, how that so labouringe ye oughte to receaue the weake, and to remembre the worde of the LORDE, how that he sayde: It is more blessed to geue, then to receaue.

36. ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവന് മുട്ടുകുത്തി അവരെല്ലാവരോടും കൂടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു.

36. And whan he had sayde this, he kneled downe, and prayed with them all.

37. എല്ലാവരും വളരെ കരഞ്ഞു.
