1. എന്നാല് സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു സുവിശേഷിച്ചതും നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലഭിച്ചതും നിങ്ങള് നിലക്കുന്നതും നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിച്ചതും വൃഥാവല്ലെന്നു വരികില് നിങ്ങള് രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതുമായ സുവിശേഷം നിങ്ങള് പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടാല് ഞാന് ഇന്നവിധം നിങ്ങളോടു സുവിശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങളെ ഔര്പ്പിക്കുന്നു.

1. But, brothers, I reveal to you the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand,

2. ക്രിസ്തു നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി തിരുവെഴുത്തുകളിന് പ്രകാരം മരിച്ചു അടക്കപ്പെട്ടു

2. by which you also are being kept safe, if you hold fast the Word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

3. For I delivered to you in the first place what I also received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures,

4. പിന്നെ പന്തിരുവര്ക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഞാന് ഗ്രഹിച്ചതു തന്നേ നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ആദ്യമായി ഏല്പിച്ചുതന്നുവല്ലോ.

4. and that He was buried, and that He was raised the third day, according to the Scriptures,

5. അനന്തരം അവന് അഞ്ഞൂറ്റില് അധികം സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്കും ഒരുമിച്ചു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; അവര് മിക്കപേരും ഇന്നുവരെ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്നു; ചിലരോ നിദ്രപ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. and that He appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve.

6. അനന്തരം അവന് യാക്കോബിന്നും പിന്നെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാര്ക്കും എല്ലാവര്ക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.

6. Then He appeared to over five hundred brothers at once, of whom the most remain until now, but some also fell asleep.

7. എല്ലാവര്ക്കും ഒടുവില് അകാലപ്രജപോലെയുള്ള എനിക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി;

7. Then He was seen by James, then by all the apostles;

8. ഞാന് അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരില് ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയവനല്ലോ; ദൈവസഭയെ ഉപദ്രവിച്ചതിനാല് അപ്പൊസ്തലന് എന്ന പേരിന്നു യോഗ്യനുമല്ല.

8. and last of all, even as if to one born out of time, He was also seen by me.

9. എങ്കിലും ഞാന് ആകുന്നതു ദൈവകൃപയാല് ആകുന്നു; എന്നോടുള്ള അവന്റെ കൃപ വ്യര്ത്ഥമായതുമില്ല; അവരെല്ലാവരെക്കാളും ഞാന് അത്യന്തം അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാല് ഞാനല്ല എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള ദൈവകൃപയത്രേ.

9. For I am the least of the apostles, who am not sufficient to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the assembly of God.

10. ഞാനാകട്ടെ അവരാകട്ടെ ഇവ്വണ്ണം ഞങ്ങള് പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു; ഇവ്വണ്ണം നിങ്ങള് വിശ്വസിച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace which was toward me has not been without fruit, but I labored more abundantly than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.

11. ക്രിസ്തു മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റു എന്നു പ്രസംഗിച്ചുവരുന്ന അവസ്ഥെക്കു മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല എന്നു നിങ്ങളില് ചിലര് പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

11. Then whether they or I, so we preach, and so you believed.

12. മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനം ഇല്ല എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തുവും ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റിട്ടില്ല

12. But if Christ is proclaimed, that He was raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is not a resurrection of the dead?

13. ക്രിസ്തു ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റിട്ടില്ലെങ്കില് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രസംഗം വ്യര്ത്ഥം; നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസവും വ്യര്ത്ഥം.

13. But if there is not a resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.

14. മരിച്ചവര് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നില്ല എന്നു വരികില് ദൈവം ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ അവന് ഉയിര്പ്പിച്ചു എന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി സാക്ഷ്യം പറകയാല് ഞങ്ങള് ദൈവത്തിന്നു കള്ളസ്സാക്ഷികള് എന്നു വരും.

14. But if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is worthless, and your faith is also worthless.

15. മരിച്ചവര് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നില്ല എങ്കില് ക്രിസ്തുവും ഉയിര്ത്തിട്ടില്ല.

15. And also we are found to be false witnesses of God, because we witnessed as to God that He raised Christ, whom He did not raise, if the dead ones are not raised.

16. ക്രിസ്തു ഉയിര്ത്തിട്ടില്ല എങ്കില് നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശ്വാസം വ്യര്ത്ഥമത്രേ; നിങ്ങള് ഇന്നും നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളില് ഇരിക്കുന്നു.

16. For if the dead are not raised, Christ has not been raised.

17. ക്രിസ്തുവില് നിദ്രകൊണ്ടവരും നശിച്ചുപോയി.

17. But if Christ has not been raised, your faith is foolish; you are still in your sins.

18. നാം ഈ ആയുസ്സില് മാത്രം ക്രിസ്തുവില് പ്രത്യാശ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കില് സകല മനുഷ്യരിലും അരിഷ്ടന്മാരത്രേ.

18. And then those that fell asleep in Christ were lost.

19. എന്നാല് ക്രിസ്തു നിദ്രകൊണ്ടവരില് ആദ്യഫലമായി മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയില്നിന്നു ഉയിര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

19. If we only have hope in Christ in this life, we are of all men most miserable.

20. മനുഷ്യന് മൂലം മരണം ഉണ്ടാകയാല് മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനവും മനുഷ്യന് മൂലം ഉണ്ടായി.

20. But now Christ has been raised from the dead; He became the firstfruit of those having fallen asleep.

21. ആദാമില് എല്ലാവരും മരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ക്രിസ്തുവില് എല്ലാവരും ജീവിക്കപ്പെടും.

21. For since death is through man, also through a Man is a resurrection of the dead;

22. ഔരോരുത്തനും താന്താന്റെ നിരയിലത്രേ; ആദ്യഫലം ക്രിസ്തു; പിന്നെ ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നുള്ളവര് അവന്റെ വരവിങ്കല്;

22. for as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

23. പിന്നെ അവസാനം; അന്നു അവന് എല്ലാവാഴ്ചെക്കും അധികാരത്തിന്നും ശക്തിക്കും നീക്കം വരുത്തീട്ടു രാജ്യം പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തെ ഏല്പിക്കും.

23. But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruit; afterward those of Christ at His coming.

24. അവന് സകലശത്രുക്കളെയും കാല്ക്കീഴാക്കുവോളം വാഴേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

24. Then is the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God, even the Father, when He makes to cease all rule and all authority and power.

25. ഒടുക്കത്തെ ശത്രുവായിട്ടു മരണം നീങ്ങിപ്പോകും.

25. For it is right for Him to reign until He puts all the hostile ones under His feet; Psa. 110:1

26. സകലത്തെയും അവന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ; സകലവും അവന്നു കീഴ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാല് സകലത്തെയും കീഴാക്കിക്കൊടുത്തവന് ഒഴികെയത്രേ എന്നു സ്പഷ്ടം.

26. the last hostile thing made to cease is death.

27. എന്നാല് അവന്നു സകലവും കീഴ്പെട്ടുവന്നശേഷം ദൈവം സകലത്തിലും സകലവും ആകേണ്ടതിന്നു പുത്രന് താനും സകലവും തനിക്കു കീഴാക്കിക്കൊടുത്തവന്നു കീഴ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും.

27. For 'He subjected all things under His feet;' but when He says that all things have been subjected, it is plain that it excepts Him who has subjected all things to Him. Psa. 8:6

28. അല്ല, മരിച്ചവര്ക്കും വേണ്ടി സ്നാനം ഏലക്കുന്നവര് എന്തു ചെയ്യും? മരിച്ചവര് കേവലം ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നില്ലെങ്കില് അവര്ക്കുംവേണ്ടി സ്നാനം ഏലക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

28. But when all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who has subjected all things to Him, that God may be all things in all.

29. ഞങ്ങളും നാഴികതോറും പ്രാണഭയത്തില് ആകുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

29. Otherwise, what will they do, those being baptized on behalf of the dead? If the dead are not at all raised, why indeed are they baptized on behalf of the dead?

30. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിങ്കല് എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളിലുള്ള പ്രശംസയാണ ഞാന് ദിവസേന മരിക്കുന്നു.

30. Why are we also in danger every hour?

31. ഞാന് എഫെസൊസില്വെച്ചു മൃഗയുദ്ധം ചെയ്തതു വെറും മാനുഷം എന്നുവരികില് എനിക്കു എന്തു പ്രയോജനം? മരിച്ചവര് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നില്ലെങ്കില് നാം തിന്നുക, കുടിക്ക, നാളെ ചാകുമല്ലോ.

31. Day by day I die, by your boasting, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

32. വഞ്ചിക്കപ്പെടരുതു, “ദുര്ഭാഷണത്താല് സദാചാരം കെട്ടുപോകുന്നു.”
യെശയ്യാ 22:13, യെശയ്യാ 56:12

32. If according to man I fought with beasts in Ephesus, what is the profit to me if the dead are not raised? ('Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.') Isa. 22:13

33. നീതിക്കു നിര്മ്മദരായി ഉണരുവിന് ; പാപം ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പിന് ; ചിലര്ക്കും ദൈവത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു പരിജ്ഞാനമില്ല; ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ലജ്ജെക്കായി പറയുന്നു.

33. Do not be led astray; bad companionships ruin good habits.

34. പക്ഷേ ഒരുവന് ; മരിച്ചവര് എങ്ങനെ ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നു എന്നും ഏതുവിധം ശരീരത്തോടെ വരുന്നു എന്നും ചോദിക്കും.

34. Be righteously awake, and do not sin; for some have ignorance of God. I speak to your shame.

35. മൂഢാ, നീ വിതെക്കുന്നതു ചത്തില്ല എങ്കില് ജീവിക്കുന്നില്ല.

35. But someone will say, How are the dead raised? And with what body do they come?

36. നീ വിതെക്കുന്നതോ ഉണ്ടാകുവാനുള്ള ശരീരമല്ല, കോതമ്പിന്റെയോ മറ്റു വല്ലതിന്റെയോ വെറും മണിയത്രേ വിതെക്കുന്നതു;

36. Foolish one! What you sow is not made alive unless it dies.

37. ദൈവമോ തന്റെ ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ അതിന്നു ഒരു ശരീരവും ഔരോ വിത്തിന്നു അതതിന്റെ ശരീരവും കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

37. And what you sow, you do not sow the body that is going to be, but a bare grain, (it may be of wheat, or of some of the rest),

38. സകല മാംസവും ഒരുപോലെയുള്ള മാംസമല്ല; മനുഷ്യരുടെ മാംസം വേറെ, കന്നുകാലികളുടെ മാംസം വേറെ, പക്ഷികളുടെ മാംസം വേറെ, മത്സ്യങ്ങളുടെ മാംസവും വേറെ.

38. and God gives it a body according as He willed, and to each of the seeds its own body.

39. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയ ശരീരങ്ങളും ഭൌമശരീരങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടു; സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയശരീരങ്ങളുടെ തേജസ്സു വേറെ, ഭൌമ ശരീരങ്ങളുടെ തേജസ്സു വേറെ.

39. Not every flesh is the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another of fish, and another of birds.

40. സൂര്യ്യന്റെ തേജസ്സു വേറെ, ചന്ദ്രന്റെ തേജസ്സു വേറെ, നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുടെ തേജസ്സു വേറെ; നക്ഷത്രവും നക്ഷത്രവും തമ്മില് തേജസ്സുകൊണ്ടു ഭേദം ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

40. And there are heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies. But the glory of the heavenly is truly different, and that of the earthly different;

41. മരിച്ചവരുടെ പുനരുത്ഥാനവും അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ. ദ്രവത്വത്തില് വിതെക്കപ്പെടുന്നു,

41. one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory.

42. അദ്രവത്വത്തില് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നു; അപമാനത്തില് വിതെക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, തേജസ്സില് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നു; ബലഹീനതയില് വിതെക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, ശക്തിയില് ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നു;

42. So also the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption.

43. പ്രാകൃതശരീരം വിതെക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, ആത്മികശരീരം ഉയിര്ക്കുംന്നു; പ്രാകൃതശരീരം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില് ആത്മിക ശരീരവും ഉണ്ടു.

43. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.

44. ഒന്നാം മനുഷ്യനായ ആദാം ജീവനുള്ള ദേഹിയായിത്തീര്ന്നു എന്നു എഴുതിയുമിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ, ഒടുക്കത്തെ ആദാം ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ആത്മാവായി.

44. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body; there is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

45. എന്നാല് ആത്മികമല്ല പ്രാകൃതമത്രേ ഒന്നാമത്തേതു; ആത്മികം പിന്നത്തേതില് വരുന്നു.

45. So also it has been written, 'The' first 'man', Adam, 'became a living soul;' the last Adam a life-giving Spirit. Gen. 2:7

46. ഒന്നാം മനുഷ്യന് ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടുള്ളവന് ; രണ്ടാം മനുഷ്യന് സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നുള്ളവന് .

46. But not the spiritual first, but the natural; afterward the spiritual.

47. മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടുള്ളവനെപ്പോലെ മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടുള്ളവരും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയനെപ്പോലെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയന്മാരും ആകുന്നു;

47. The first man was out of earth, earthy. The second Man was the Lord out of Heaven. Gen. 2:7

48. നാം മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടുള്ളവന്റെ പ്രതിമ ധരിച്ചതുപോലെ സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയന്റെ പ്രതിമയും ധരിക്കും.

48. Such as is the earthy man, such also are the earthy ones. And such as is the heavenly Man, such also are the heavenly ones.

49. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, മാംസരക്തങ്ങള്ക്കു ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കുവാന് കഴികയില്ല, ദ്രവത്വം അദ്രവത്വത്തെ അവകാശമാക്കുകയുമില്ല എന്നു ഞാന് പറയുന്നു.

49. And as we bore the image of the earthy man, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

50. ഞാന് ഒരു മര്മ്മം നിങ്ങളോടു പറയാം

50. And I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood is not able to inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption.

51. നാം എല്ലാവരും നിദ്രകൊള്ളുകയില്ല; എന്നാല് അന്ത്യകാഹളനാദത്തിങ്കല് പെട്ടെന്നു കണ്ണിമെക്കുന്നിടയില് നാം എല്ലാവരും രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടും. കാഹളം ധ്വനിക്കും, മരിച്ചവര് അക്ഷയരായി ഉയിര്ക്കുംകയും നാം രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും.

51. Behold, I speak a mystery to you: we shall not all fall asleep, but we shall all be changed.

52. ഈ ദ്രവത്വമുള്ളതു അദ്രവത്വത്തെയും ഈ മര്ത്യമായതു അമര്ത്യത്വത്തെയും ധരിക്കേണം.

52. In a moment, in a glance of an eye, at the last trumpet; for a trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.

53. ഈ ദ്രവത്വമുള്ളതു അദ്രവത്വത്തെയും ഈ മര്ത്യമായതു അമര്ത്യത്വത്തെയും ധരിക്കുമ്പോള് “മരണം നീങ്ങി ജയം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു എഴുതിയ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകും.

53. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54. ഹേ മരണമേ, നിന്റെ ജയം എവിടെ? ഹേ മരണമേ, നിന്റെ വിഷമുള്ളു എവിടെ?
യെശയ്യാ 25:8

54. But when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and this mortal shall put on immortality, then will take place the Word that has been written, 'Death was swallowed up in victory.' Isa. 25:8

55. മരണത്തിന്റെ വിഷമുള്ളു പാപം; പാപത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയോ ന്യായപ്രമാണം.
ഹോശേയ 13:14

55. 'O death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?' Hos. 13:14

56. നമ്മുടെ കര്ത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തു മുഖാന്തരം നമുക്കു ജയം നലകുന്ന ദൈവത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം.

56. Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law;

57. ആകയാല് എന്റെ പ്രിയ സഹോദരന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള് ഉറപ്പുള്ളവരും കുലുങ്ങാത്തവരും നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രയത്നം കര്ത്താവില് വ്യര്ത്ഥമല്ല എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കയാല് കര്ത്താവിന്റെ വേലയില് എപ്പോഴും വര്ദ്ധിച്ചുവരുന്നവരും ആകുവിന് .

57. but thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
