1. ഹാ ബുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത ഗലാത്യരേ, യേശു ക്രിസ്തു ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനായി നിങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണിന്നു മുമ്പില് വരെച്ചുകിട്ടിയിരിക്കെ നിങ്ങളെ ക്ഷുദ്രംചെയ്തു മയക്കിയതു ആര്?

1. గలతీయ ప్రజలారా! మీరు అవివేకులు. మిమ్ములను ఎవరు మోసగించారు? యేసు క్రీస్తు సిలువకు వేయబడినదానిలో వున్న అర్థం మీ కళ్ళ ముందు స్పష్టంగా చిత్రించాము.

2. ഞാന് ഇതൊന്നു മാത്രം നിങ്ങളോടു ഗ്രഹിപ്പാന് ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ആത്മാവു ലഭിച്ചതു ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയാലോ വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ പ്രസംഗം കേട്ടതിനാലോ?

2. మిమ్మల్ని ఒక ప్రశ్న అడుగనివ్వండి. ధర్మశాస్త్రం అనుసరించటం వల్ల మీరు పరిశుద్ధాత్మను పొందారా? లేక సువార్త విశ్వసించటం వల్ల పొందారా?

3. നിങ്ങള് ഇത്ര ബുദ്ധികെട്ടവരോ? ആത്മാവുകൊണ്ടു ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടു ഇപ്പോള് ജഡംകൊണ്ടോ സമാപിക്കുന്നതു? ഇത്ര എല്ലാം വെറുതെ അനുഭവിച്ചുവോ?

3. మీరింత అవివేకులా? పరిశుద్ధాత్మతో ప్రారంభించి ఇప్పుడు మానవ ప్రయత్నం ద్వారా నీతిమంతులు కావాలని చూస్తున్నారా?

4. വെറുതെ അത്രേ എന്നു വരികില്,

4. మీరు ఇన్ని కష్టాలు వ్యర్థంగా అనుభవిస్తున్నారా? అది నేను అంగీకరించను.

5. దేవుడు పరిశుద్ధాత్మను పంపి మీ కోసం మహత్కార్యాలు చేస్తున్నది మీరు ధర్మశాస్త్రం అనుసరించినందుకా? లేక సువార్తను విశ్వసించినందుకా?

6. അബ്രാഹാം ദൈവത്തില് വിശ്വസിച്ചു; അതു അവന്നു നീതിയായി കണക്കിട്ടു എന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ.

6. అబ్రాహామును పరిశీలించండి. “అతడు దేవుణ్ణి విశ్వసించాడు. కనుక దేవుడతణ్ణి నీతిమంతునిగా పరిగణించాడు.”

7. അതുകൊണ്ടു വിശ്വാസികള് അത്രേ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ മക്കള് എന്നു അറിവിന് .

8. యూదులు కానివాళ్ళను దేవుడు వాళ్ళ విశ్వాసాన్ని బట్టి నీతిమంతులుగా నిర్ణయిస్తాడని లేఖనాలు వ్రాసినవాళ్ళు దివ్యదృష్టితో చూసి చెప్పారు. ఈ విషయాన్ని దేవుడు అబ్రాహాముతో, 'అన్ని జనముల వారు నీ కారణంగా ధన్యులౌతారు!” అని ముందే చెప్పాడు.

10. എന്നാല് ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ഏവരും ശാപത്തിന് കീഴാകുന്നു; ന്യായപ്രമാണപുസ്തകത്തില് എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും ചെയ്വാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അതില് നിലനില്ക്കാത്തവന് എല്ലാം ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവന് എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

10. ధర్మశాస్త్రంపై ఆధారపడిన వాళ్ళందరి మీద శాపం ఉంది. “ధర్మశాస్త్ర గ్రంథంలో వ్రాయబడిన వాటన్నిటిని అన్ని వేళలా ఆచరిస్తూ జీవించని వాడు దేవుని శాపానికి గురి ఔతాడు” అని వ్రాయబడి ఉంది.

11. എന്നാല് ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല് ആരും ദൈവസന്നിധിയില് നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല എന്നതു സ്പഷ്ടം; “നീതിമാന് വിശ്വാസത്താല് ജീവിക്കും” എന്നല്ലോ ഉള്ളതു.

11. ధర్మశాస్త్రం ద్వారా దేవుడు ఎవ్వరినీ నీతిమంతునిగా చెయ్యడని మనకు స్పష్టంగా తెలుస్తోంది. ఎందుకంటే, “విశ్వాసం ద్వారా నీతిమంతుడైనవాడు అనంతజీవితం పొందుతాడు” అని ప్రవచనంలో వ్రాయబడి ఉంది.

12. ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്നോ വിശ്വാസമല്ല ആധാരമായിരിക്കുന്നതു; “അതു ചെയ്യുന്നവന് അതിനാല് ജീവിക്കും” എന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ.

12. ధర్మశాస్త్రానికి విశ్వాసం పునాది కాదు. పైగా, “ధర్మశాస్త్రం చెప్పినట్లు అన్నీ చేసినవాడు మాత్రమే అనంత జీవితం పొందుతాడు' అని వ్రాయబడి ఉంది.

13. చెట్టుకు వ్రేలాడవేయబడిన ప్రతి ఒక్కడూ శాపగ్రస్థుడు!” అని ధర్మశాస్త్రంలో వ్రాయబడింది. కనుక మనకు ధర్మశాస్త్రం యొక్క శాపం నుండి విముక్తి కలిగించాలని క్రీస్తు ఆ శాపానికి గురి అయ్యాడు.

14. അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവില് ജാതികള്ക്കു വരേണ്ടതിന്നു നാം ആത്മാവെന്ന വാഗ്ദത്തവിഷയം വിശ്വാസത്താല് പ്രാപിപ്പാന് തന്നേ.

14. దేవుడు అబ్రాహాముకు చేసిన వాగ్దానం తన ద్వారా యూదులు కానివాళ్ళకు కూడా లభించాలని క్రీస్తు మనకు విముక్తి కలిగించాడు. వాగ్దానం చేయబడిన పరిశుద్ధాత్మ మనకు విశ్వాసం ద్వారా లభించాలని ఆయన ఉద్దేశ్యం.

15. സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാന് മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഇടയില് നടപ്പുള്ള ഒരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം പറയാംഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ നിയമം ആയാലും, അതിന്നു ഉറപ്പു വന്നശേഷം ആരും ദുര്ബ്ബലമാക്കുകയോ അതിനോടു വല്ലതും കൂട്ടിക്കല്പിക്കയോ ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല.

15. సోదరులారా! ఇక మన నిత్యజీవితం నుండి ఒక ఉదాహరణ తీసుకొంటాను. అంగీకరించిన ఒడంబడికను మనం రద్దు ెచెయ్యలేము, లేక మార్చలేము. ఈ విషయం కూడా అలాంటిదే.

16. എന്നാല് അബ്രാഹാമിന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും വാഗ്ദത്തങ്ങള് ലഭിച്ചു; സന്തതികള്ക്കും എന്നു അനേകരെക്കുറിച്ചല്ല, നിന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നു ഏകനെക്കുറിച്ചത്രേ പറയുന്നതു; അതു ക്രിസ്തു തന്നേ.

16. అబ్రాహాముకు, అతని వారసునికి దేవుడు వాగ్దానం చేసాడు. కాని ధర్మశాస్త్రంలో, “వారసులకు” అని వ్రాయబడలేదు. కాని “అనేకులు” అని అర్థం రాకుండా “ఒకనికి” అనే అర్థం వచ్చేటట్లు వ్రాయబడి ఉంది. ఆయనే క్రీస్తు.

17. ഞാന് പറയുന്നതിന്റെ താല്പര്യമോനാനൂറ്റിമുപ്പതു ആണ്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഉണ്ടായ ന്യായപ്രമാണം വാഗ്ദത്തത്തെ നീക്കുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അതു ദൈവം മുമ്പു ഉറപ്പാക്കിയ നിയമത്തെ ദുര്ബ്ബലമാക്കുന്നില്ല.

17. నేను చెప్పేది ఏమిటంటే నాలుగు వందల ముప్పై సంవత్సరాల తర్వాత ప్రవేశపెట్టబడిన ధర్మశాస్త్రం గతంలో దేవుడు చేసిన ఒడంబడికను ప్రక్కకు త్రోసి ఆయన చేసిన వాగ్దానాన్ని రద్దు చెయ్యలేదు.

18. അവകാശം ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താല് എങ്കില് വാഗ്ദത്തത്താലല്ല വരുന്നതു; അബ്രാഹാമിന്നോ ദൈവം അതിനെ വാഗ്ദത്തം മൂലം നല്കി.

18. అయితే వారసత్వం ధర్మశాస్త్రంపై ఆధారపడలేక అది వాగ్దానంపై ఆధారపడి వుందన్న మాట. ఆ రీతిగా దేవుడు ఆ వారసత్వాన్ని వాగ్దానం ద్వారా అబ్రాహాముకు యిచ్చాడు.

19. എന്നാല് ന്യായപ്രമാണം എന്തിന്നു? വാഗ്ദത്തം ലഭിച്ച സന്തതിവരുവോളം അതു ലംഘനങ്ങള് നിമിത്തം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ത്തതും ദൂതന്മാര് മുഖാന്തരം മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥന്റെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിച്ചതുമത്രേ.

19. మరి అలాగైతే ధర్మశాస్త్రం ఉండటంలో ఉద్దేశ్యమేమిటి? పాపాన్ని ఎత్తి చూపటమే దాని ఉద్దేశ్యం. వాగ్దానం చెయ్యబడిన అబ్రాహాము వంశీయుడు వచ్చే వరకే దాని ఉపయోగం. దేవదూతల ద్వారా ఒక మధ్యవర్తి చేత ధర్మశాస్త్రం మనకు అందజేయబడింది.

20. ഒരുത്തന് മാത്രം എങ്കില് മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥന് വേണ്ടിവരികയില്ല; ദൈവമോ ഒരുത്തന് മാത്രം.

20. కాని వాగ్దానం విషయంలో దేవుడు ఒక్కడే కనుక మధ్యవర్తి అవసరం కలుగలేదు. రెండు పక్షాలుంటే కదా మధ్యవర్తి కావాలి.

21. എന്നാല് ന്യായപ്രമാണം ദൈവവാഗ്ദത്തങ്ങള്ക്കു വിരോധമോ? ഒരുനാളും അല്ല; ജീവിപ്പിപ്പാന് കഴിയുന്നോരു ന്യായപ്രമാണം നല്കിയിരുന്നു എങ്കില് ന്യായപ്രമാണം വാസ്തവമായി നീതിക്കു ആധാരമാകുമായിരുന്നു.

21. మరి అలాగైతే ధర్మశాస్త్రం దేవుని వాగ్దానాలకు విరుద్దమా? ఎన్నటికీ కాదు. ధర్మశాస్త్రానికి అనంత జీవితాన్నిచ్చే శక్తి వుండి ఉంటే దాని ద్వారా నీతిమంతులం అయ్యేవాళ్ళం.

22. എങ്കിലും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവര്ക്കും വാഗ്ദത്തം യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിലെ വിശ്വാസത്താല് ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തിരുവെഴുത്തു എല്ലാവറ്റെയും പാപത്തിന് കീഴടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

22. కాని లేఖనాల్లో, ‘ప్రపంచం పాపాల్లో చిక్కుకు పోయింది.’ అని వ్రాయబడి ఉంది. ఇలా ఎందుకైందంటే యేసుక్రీస్తు పట్ల ఉన్న విశ్వాసం వల్ల వాగ్దానం చెయ్యబడిన వరము విశ్వాసం ఉన్న వాళ్ళకే యివ్వబడుతుంది.

23. വിശ്വാസം വരുംമുമ്പെ നമ്മെ വെളിപ്പെടുവാനിരുന്ന വിശ്വാസത്തിന്നായിക്കൊണ്ടു ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിങ്കീഴ് അടെച്ചു സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നു.

23. విశ్వాసం లేకముందు మనం ధర్మశాస్త్రం యొక్క ఖైదీలము. విశ్వాసం మనకు బయలు పడేదాకా మనము ఖైదీలుగా ఉన్నాము.

24. അങ്ങനെ നാം വിശ്വാസത്താല് നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ന്യായപ്രമാണം ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു നടത്തുവാന് നമുക്കു ശിശുപാലകനായി ഭവിച്ചു.

24. మనము విశ్వాసం ద్వారా నీతిమంతులం కావటానికి, మనల్ని క్రీస్తు దగ్గరకు పిలుచుకు వెళ్ళటానికి ఈ ధర్మశాస్త్రం నియమింపబడింది.

25. വിശ്വാസം വന്ന ശേഷമോ നാം ഇനി ശിശുപാലകന്റെ കീഴില് അല്ല.

25. ఇప్పుడు ఆ విశ్వాసం వచ్చింది. కనుక ధర్మశాస్త్రానికి మనపై ఇక ఏ మాత్రం అధికారం లేదు.

26. ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലെ വിശ്വാസത്താല് നിങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മക്കള് ആകുന്നു.

26. యేసుక్రీస్తులో మీకు విశ్వాసం వుండటం వల్ల మీరంతా దేవుని పుత్రులయ్యారు.

27. ക്രിസ്തുവിനോടു ചേരുവാന് സ്നാനം ഏറ്റിരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരും ക്രിസ്തുവിനെ ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

27. ఎందుకంటే క్రీస్తులో బాప్తిస్మము పొందిన మీరు క్రీస్తును ధరించుకొన్నారు.

28. അതില് യെഹൂദനും യവനനും എന്നില്ല; ദാസനും സ്വതന്ത്രനും എന്നില്ല, ആണും പെണ്ണും എന്നുമില്ല; നിങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും ക്രിസ്തു യേശുവില് ഒന്നത്രേ.

28. ఇప్పుడు యేసుక్రీస్తులో యూదుడని, యూదుడుకానివాడని, బానిసని, యజమాని అని, ఆడ అని, మగ అని, వ్యత్యాసం లేదు. క్రీస్తుయేసులో మీరందరు సమానం.

29. ക്രിസ്തുവിന്നുള്ളവര് എങ്കിലോ നിങ്ങള് അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയും വാഗ്ദത്തപ്രകാരം അവകാശികളും ആകുന്നു.

29. మీరు క్రీస్తుకు చెందితే అబ్రాహాము సంతానంగా పరిగణింపబడతారు. దేవుడు అబ్రాహాముతో చేసిన వాగ్దానం ప్రకారం దేవుని ఆశీర్వాదాలకు మనం వారసులమౌతాం.
