1. നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു അവകാശമായി തരുന്ന ദേശത്തു വയലില് ഒരുത്തനെ കൊന്നിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതു കാണുകയും അവനെ കൊന്നവന് ആരെന്നു അറിയാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് നിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരും

1. 'If a person has been killed and is found lying in a field in the land the Lord your God is giving you for your own and it is not known who killed him,

10. 'When you go out to battle against those who hate you, and the Lord your God gives them to you, and you make them go with you,

11. ആ ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് സുന്ദരിയായൊരു സ്ത്രീയെ കണ്ടു ഭാര്യയായി എടുപ്പാന് തക്കവണ്ണം അവളോടു പ്രേമം ജനിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില്

11. and you see a beautiful woman and have a desire for her as a wife,

12. നീ അവളെ വീട്ടില് കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം; അവള് തലമുടി ചിരെക്കയും നഖം മുറിക്കയും ബദ്ധവസ്ത്രം മാറി

12. bring her home to your house. There she will cut off all the hair from her head and cut her nails.
