1. മോശെ ചെന്നു ഈ വചനങ്ങള് എല്ലാ യിസ്രായേലിനെയും കേള്പ്പിച്ചു

1. AND MOSES went on speaking these words to all Israel:

2. പിന്നെ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാല്എനിക്കു ഇപ്പോള് നൂറ്റിരുപതു വയസ്സായി;ഇനി പോകുവാനും വരുവാനും എനിക്കു കഴിവില്ല; യഹോവ എന്നോടുഈ യോര്ദ്ദാന് നീ കടക്കുകയില്ല എന്നു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുമുണ്ടു.

2. And he said to them, I am 120 years old this day; I can no more go out and come in. And the Lord has said to me, You shall not go over this Jordan.

3. നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തന്നെ നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി കടന്നുപോകും; ഈ ജാതികളെ അവന് നിന്റെ മുമ്പില്നിന്നു നശിപ്പിക്കയും നീ അവരുടെ ദേശം കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും; യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുപോലെ യോശുവ നിനക്കു നായകനായി കടന്നുപോകും.

3. The Lord your God will Himself go over before you, and He will destroy these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess them. And Joshua shall go over before you, as the Lord has said.

4. താന് സംഹരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞ അമോര്യ്യരാജാക്കന്മാരായ സീഹോനോടും ഔഗിനോടും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തോടും ചെയ്തതുപോലെ യഹോവ ഇവരോടും ചെയ്യും.

4. And the Lord will do to them as He did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land, when He destroyed them.

5. യഹോവ അവരെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കും; ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള കല്പനപ്രകാരമൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങള് അവരോടു ചെയ്യേണം.

5. And the Lord will give them over to you, and you shall do to them according to all the commandments which I have commanded you.

6. ബലവും ധൈര്യവുമുള്ളവരായിരിപ്പിന് ; അവരെ പേടിക്കരുതു, ഭ്രമിക്കയുമരുതു; നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തന്നേ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പോരുന്നു; അവന് നിന്നെ കൈവിടുകയില്ല, ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയുമില്ല.

6. Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.

7. പിന്നെ മോശെ യോശുവയെ വിളിച്ചു എല്ലായിസ്രായേലും കാണ്കെ അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു എന്തെന്നാല്ബലവും ധൈര്യവുമുള്ളവനായിരിക്ക; യഹോവ ഈ ജനത്തിന്നു കൊടുക്കുമെന്നു അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യംചെയ്തദേശത്തേക്കു നീ അവരോടുകൂടെ ചെല്ലും; അതിനെ അവര്ക്കും വിഭാഗിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

7. And Moses called to Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong, courageous, and firm, for you shall go with this people into the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to possess it.

8. യഹോവതന്നേ നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി നടക്കുന്നു; അവന് നിന്നോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കും; നിന്നെ കൈവിടുകയില്ല, ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയുമില്ല; നീ പേടിക്കരുതു, ഭ്രമിക്കയുമരുതു.
എബ്രായർ 13:5

8. It is the Lord Who goes before you; He will [march] with you; He will not fail you or let you go or forsake you; [let there be no cowardice or flinching, but] fear not, neither become broken [in spirit--depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm].

9. അനന്തരം മോശെ ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണം എഴുതി യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം ചുമക്കുന്ന ലേവ്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാരെയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ എല്ലാമൂപ്പന്മാരെയും ഏല്പിച്ചു

9. And Moses wrote this law and delivered it to the Levitical priests, who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel.

10. മോശെ അവരോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാല്ഏഴേഴു സംവത്സരം കൂടുമ്പോള് ഉള്ള വിമോചനസംവത്സരത്തിലെ കൂടാരപ്പെരുനാളില്

10. And Moses commanded them, At the end of every seven years, at the set time of the year of release [of debtors from their debts], at the Feast of Booths,

11. യിസ്രായേല് മുഴുവനും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയില് അവന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു വരുമ്പോള് ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണം എല്ലായിസ്രായേല്യരും കേള്ക്കെ അവരുടെ മുമ്പാകെ വായിക്കേണം.

11. When all Israel comes to appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses [for His sanctuary], you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing.

12. പുരുഷന്മാരും സ്ത്രീകളും കുട്ടികളും നിന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിലുള്ള പരദേശിയും കേട്ടു പഠിച്ചു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിലെ വചനങ്ങള് ഒക്കെയും പ്രമാണിച്ചുനടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും

12. Assemble the people--men, women, and children, and the stranger and the sojourner within your towns--that they may hear and learn [reverently] to fear the Lord your God and be watchful to do all the words of this law,

13. അവയെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലാത്ത അവരുടെ മക്കള് കേള്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങള് യോര്ദ്ദാന് കടന്നു കൈവശമാക്കുവാന് ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ ആയുഷ്കാലമൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാന് പഠിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ജനത്തെ വിളിച്ചു കൂട്ടേണം.

13. And that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn [reverently] to fear the Lord your God as long as you live in the land which you go over the Jordan to possess.

14. അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടുനീ മരിപ്പാനുള്ള സമയം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് യോശുവേക്കു കല്പന കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ വിളിച്ചു നിങ്ങള് സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിങ്കല് വന്നുനില്പിന് എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ മോശെയും യോശുവയും ചെന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിങ്കല് നിന്നു.

14. And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, your days are nearing when you must die. Call Joshua and present yourselves at the Tent of Meeting, that I may give him his charge. And Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves at the Tent of Meeting.

15. അപ്പോള് യഹോവ മേഘസ്തംഭത്തില് കൂടാരത്തിങ്കല് പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; മേഘസ്തംഭം കൂടാരവാതിലിന്നു മീതെ നിന്നു.

15. And the Lord appeared in the Tent in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood over the door of the Tent.

16. യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്നീ നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ നിദ്രപ്രാപിക്കും; എന്നാല് ഈ ജനം പാര്പ്പാന് ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികളുടെ അന്യദൈവങ്ങളെ പിന് ചെന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്കയും എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു ഞാന് അവരോടു ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം ലംഘിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

16. And the Lord said to Moses, Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers, and this people will rise up and play the harlot after the strange gods of the land where they go to be among them; and they will forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.

17. എന്റെ കോപം അവരുടെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചിട്ടു ഞാന് അവരെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ മുഖം അവര്ക്കും മറെക്കയും ചെയ്യും; അവര് നാശത്തിന്നിരയായ്തീരും; അനേകം അനര്ത്ഥങ്ങളും കഷ്ടങ്ങളും അവര്ക്കും ഭവിക്കും; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ ഇടയില് ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടല്ലയോ ഈ അനത്ഥങ്ങള് നമുക്കു ഭവിച്ചതു എന്നു അവര് അന്നു പറയും.

17. Then My anger will be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them and hide My face from them. And they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them, so that they will say in that day, Have not these evils come upon us because our God is not among us?

18. എങ്കിലും അവര് അന്യദൈവങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള സകലദോഷവും നിമിത്തം ഞാന് അന്നു എന്റെ മുഖം മറെച്ചുകളയും

18. And I will surely hide My face in that day because of all the evil which they have done in turning to other gods.

19. ആകയാല് ഈ പാട്ടു എഴുതി യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ പഠിപ്പിക്ക; യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളുടെ നേരെ ഈ പാട്ടു എനിക്കു സാക്ഷിയായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതു അവര്ക്കും വായ്പാഠമാക്കിക്കൊടുക്കുക.

19. And now write this song for yourselves and teach it to the Israelites; put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for Me against the Israelites.

20. ഞാന് അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു സത്യംചെയ്തതായി പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശത്തു അവരെ എത്തിച്ചശേഷം അവര് തിന്നു തൃപ്തരായി തടിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോള് അന്യദൈവങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞു അവയെ സേവിക്കയും എന്റെ നിയമം ലംഘിച്ചു എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

20. For when I have brought them into the land which I swore to their fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey, and they have eaten and filled themselves and become fat, then they will turn to other gods and serve them, and despise and scorn Me and break My covenant.

21. എന്നാല് അനേകം അനര്ത്ഥങ്ങളും കഷ്ടങ്ങളും അവര്ക്കും ഭവിക്കുമ്പോള് അവരുടെ സന്തതിയുടെ വായില്നിന്നു മറന്നുപോകാത്ത ഈ പാട്ടു അവരുടെ നേരെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയും; ഞാന് സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തു അവരെ എത്തിക്കുമ്മുമ്പേ ഇന്നു തന്നേ അവര്ക്കുംള്ള നിരൂപണങ്ങളെ ഞാന് അറിയുന്നു.

21. And when many evils and troubles have befallen them, this [sacred] song will confront them as a witness, for it will never be forgotten from the mouths of their descendants. For I know their strong desire and the purposes which they are forming even now, before I have brought them into the land which I swore to give them.

22. ആകയാല് മോശെ അന്നു തന്നേ ഈ പാട്ടു എഴുതി യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളെ പഠിപ്പിച്ചു.

22. Moses wrote this song the same day and taught it to the Israelites. [Deut. 32:1-43.]

23. പിന്നെ അവന് നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയോടുബലവും ധൈര്യവുമുള്ളവനായിരിക്ക; ഞാന് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളോടു സത്യംചെയ്ത ദേശത്തു നീ അവരെ എത്തിക്കും; ഞാന് നിന്നോടു കൂടെ ഇരിക്കും എന്നരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

23. And [the Lord] charged Joshua son of Nun, Be strong and courageous and firm, for you shall bring the Israelites into the land which I swore to give them, and I will be with you.

24. മോശെ ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിലെ വചനങ്ങള് മുഴുവനും ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തില് എഴുതിത്തീര്ന്നപ്പോള്

24. And when Moses had finished writing the words of this law in a book to the very end,

25. യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം ചുമക്കുന്ന ലേവ്യരോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാല്

25. He commanded the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord,

26. ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണപുസ്തകം എടുത്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ നിയമ പെട്ടകത്തിന്നരികെ വെപ്പിന് ; അവിടെ അതു നിന്റെ നേരെ സാക്ഷിയായിരിക്കും.
യോഹന്നാൻ 5:45

26. Take this Book of the Law and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witness against you.

27. നിന്റെ മത്സരസ്വഭാവവും ദുശ്ശാഠ്യവും എനിക്കു അറിയാം; ഇതാ, ഇന്നു ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുമ്പോള് തന്നേ നിങ്ങള് യഹോവയോടു മത്സരികളായിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ? എന്റെ മരണശേഷം എത്ര അധികം?
യോഹന്നാൻ 5:45

27. For I know your rebellion and stubbornness; behold, while I am yet alive with you today, you have been rebellious against the Lord; and how much more after my death!

28. നിങ്ങളുടെ ഗോത്രങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാമൂപ്പന്മാരെയും പ്രാമണികളെയും എന്റെ അടുക്കല് വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടുവിന് ; എന്നാല് ഞാന് ഈ വചനങ്ങള് അവരെ പറഞ്ഞു കേള്പ്പിച്ചു അവരുടെ നേരെ ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും സാക്ഷിവേക്കും.

28. Gather to me all the elders of your tribes and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears and call heaven and earth to witness against them.

29. എന്റെ മരണശേഷം നിങ്ങള് വഷളത്വം പ്രവൃത്തിക്കും എന്നും ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള വഴി വിട്ടു മാറിക്കളയും എന്നും എനിക്കു അറിയാം; അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങള് യഹോവേക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാല് അവനെ കോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഭാവികാലത്തു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു അനര്ത്ഥം ഭവിക്കും.

29. For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days because you will do what is evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger through the work of your hands.

30. അങ്ങനെ മോശെ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ സര്വ്വസഭയെയും ഈ പാട്ടിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ചൊല്ലിക്കേള്പ്പിച്ചു.

30. And Moses spoke in the hearing of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song until they were ended:
