1. യോസേഫിന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു കിട്ടിയ അവകാശംയെരീഹോവിന്റെ സമീപത്തു യോര്ദ്ദാന് തുടങ്ങി കിഴക്കു യെരീഹോവെള്ളത്തിങ്കല് മരുഭൂമിയില് തന്നേ തുടങ്ങി യെരീഹോവില്നിന്നു മലനാടുവഴിയായി ബേഥേലിലേക്കു കയറി

1. And the lot for the children of Joseph went out from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel;

2. ബേഥേലില്നിന്നു ലൂസിന്നു ചെന്നു അര്ക്ക്യരുടെ അതിരായ അതാരോത്തിന്നു കടന്നു

2. and it went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along unto the border of the Archites to Ataroth;

3. പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടു യഫ്ളേത്യരുടെ അതിരിലേക്കു താഴത്തെ ബേത്ത്-ഹോരോന്റെ അതിര്വരെ, ഗേസെര്വരെ തന്നേ, ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു സമുദ്രത്തിങ്കല് അവസാനിക്കുന്നു.

3. and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, unto the border of Bethhoron the nether, even unto Gezer: and the goings out thereof were at the sea.

4. അങ്ങനെ യോസേഫിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരായ മനശ്ശെക്കും എഫ്രയീമിന്നും അവകാശം ലഭിച്ചു.

4. And the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.

5. എഫ്രയീമിന്റെ മക്കള്ക്കു കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി കിട്ടിയ ദേശം ഏതെന്നാല്കിഴക്കു അവരുടെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ അതിര് മേലത്തെ ബേത്ത്-ഹോരോന് വരെ അതെരോത്ത്-അദ്ദാര് ആയിരുന്നു.

5. And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was {cf15i thus}: even the border of their inheritance eastward was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper;

6. ആ അതിര് മിഖ് മെഥാത്തിന്റെ വടക്കുകൂടി പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടു ചെന്നു താനത്ത്-ശീലോവരെ കിഴക്കോട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞു അതിന്നരികത്തുകൂടി

6. and the border went out westward at Michmethath on the north; and the border turned about eastward unto Taanathshiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah;

7. യാനോഹയുടെ കിഴക്കു കടന്നു യാനോഹയില്നിന്നു അതെരോത്തിന്നും നാരാത്തിന്നും ഇറങ്ങി യെരീഹോവില് എത്തി യോര്ദ്ദാങ്കല് അവസാനിക്കുന്നു.

7. and it went down from Janoah to Ataroth, and to Naarah, and reached unto Jericho, and went out at Jordan.

8. തപ്പൂഹയില്നിന്നു ആ അതിര് പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ടു കാനാതോടുവരെ ചെന്നു സമുദ്രത്തിങ്കല് അവസാനിക്കുന്നു. എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തിന്നു കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി കിട്ടിയ ഈ അവകാശം കൂടാതെ

8. From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;

9. മനശ്ശെമക്കളുടെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ഇടയില് എഫ്രയീംമക്കള്ക്കു വേര്തിരിച്ചുകൊടുത്ത പട്ടണങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അവയുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളുംകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

9. together with the cities which were separated for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

10. എന്നാല് അവര് ഗെസേരില് പാര്ത്തിരുന്ന കനാന്യരെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞില്ല; കനാന്യര് ഇന്നുവരെ എഫ്രയീമ്യരുടെ ഇടയില് ഊഴിയവേല ചെയ്തു പാര്ത്തു വരുന്നു.

10. And they drave not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer: but the Canaanites dwelt in the midst of Ephraim, unto this day, and became servants to do taskwork.
