1. ഒരു ഗീതം; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.

1. O God, my hert is ready to synge, & to geue prayse.

2. ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ മനസ്സു ഉറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് പാടും; എന്റെ മനംകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് കീര്ത്തനം പാടും.

2. Awake (o my glory) awake lute & harpe, I my selfe will awake right early.

3. വീണയും കിന്നരവുമായുള്ളോവേ, ഉണരുവിന് ; ഞാന് അതികാലത്തെ ഉണരും.

3. I wil geue thakes vnto the (o LORDE) amonge the people, I wil synge prayses vnto the amonge the Heithe.

4. യഹോവേ, വംശങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില് ഞാന് നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും; ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഞാന് നിനക്കു കീര്ത്തനം പാടും.

4. For the greatnesse of thy mercy is higher then the heauens, and thy faithfulnesse reacheth vnto the cloudes.

5. നിന്റെ ദയ ആകാശത്തിന്നു മീതെ വലുതാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തത മേഘങ്ങളോളം എത്തുന്നു.

5. Set vp thy self (o God) aboue the heaues, & thy glory aboue all the earth.

6. ദൈവമേ, നീ ആകാശത്തിന്നു മീതെ ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ മഹത്വം സര്വ്വഭൂമിക്കും മീതെ തന്നേ.

6. That thy beloued maye be delyuered: helpe then with thy right hande, & heare me.

7. നിനക്കു പ്രിയമുള്ളവര് വിടുവിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈകൊണ്ടു രക്ഷിച്ചു ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളേണമേ.

7. God hath spoken in his Sanctuary (which thinge reioyseth me.) I will deuyde Sichem, and mete out the valley of Suchoth.

8. ദൈവം തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധിയില് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ആനന്ദിക്കും; ഞാന് ശെഖേമിനെ വിഭാഗിച്ചു സുക്കോത്ത് താഴ്വരയെ അളക്കും.

8. Galaad is myne, Manasses is myne, Ephraim is the stregth of my heade,

9. ഗിലെയാദ് എനിക്കുള്ളതു; മനശ്ശെയും എനിക്കുള്ളതു; എഫ്രയീം എന്റെ തലക്കോരികയും യെഹൂദാ എന്റെ ചെങ്കോലും ആകുന്നു.

9. Iuda is my captaine. Moab is my wash potte, ouer Edom wil I stretch out my shue, Philistea shal be glad of me.

10. മോവാബ് എനിക്കു കഴുകുവാനുള്ള വട്ടക; ഏദോമിന്മേല് ഞാന് എന്റെ ചെരിപ്പു എറിയും; ഫെലിസ്ത ദേശത്തിന്മേല് ഞാന് ജയഘോഷംകൊള്ളും.

10. Who wil lede me in to the stronge cite? Who wil brynge me in to Edom?

11. ഉറപ്പുള്ള നഗരത്തിലേക്കു എന്നെ ആര് കൊണ്ടുപോകും? ഏദോമിലേക്കു എന്നെ ആര് വഴിനടത്തും?

11. Shalt not thou do it (o God) which hast cast vs out: thou God, yt wentest not forth with oure hoostes?

12. ദൈവമേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളെ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞില്ലയോ? ദൈവമേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളുടെ സൈന്യങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുന്നതുമില്ല.

12. O be thou or helpe in trouble, for vayne is the helpe of man.

13. വൈരിയുടെ നേരെ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു സഹായം ചെയ്യേണമേ; മനുഷ്യന്റെ സഹായം വ്യര്ത്ഥമല്ലോ.

13. Thorow God we shall do greate actes, for it is he yt shal treade downe oure enemies.
