1. യഹോവ എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥനയും യാചനകളും കേട്ടതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അവനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

1. I have loved, because Jehovah heareth My voice, my supplication,

2. അവന് തന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്കു ചായിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ജീവകാലമൊക്കെയും അവനെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും

2. Because He hath inclined His ear to me, And during my days I call.

3. മരണപാശങ്ങള് എന്നെ ചുറ്റി, പാതാള വേദനകള് എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു; ഞാന് കഷ്ടവും സങ്കടവും അനുഭവിച്ചു.

3. Compassed me have cords of death, And straits of Sheol have found me, Distress and sorrow I find.

4. അയ്യോ, യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ എന്നു ഞാന് യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

4. And in the name of Jehovah I call: I pray Thee, O Jehovah, deliver my soul,

5. യഹോവ കൃപയും നീതിയും ഉള്ളവന് ; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം കരുണയുള്ളവന് തന്നേ.

5. Gracious [is] Jehovah, and righteous, Yea, our God [is] merciful,

6. യഹോവ അല്പബുദ്ധികളെ പാലിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് എളിമപ്പെട്ടു, അവന് എന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.

6. A preserver of the simple [is] Jehovah, I was low, and to me He giveth salvation.

7. എന് മനമേ, നീ വീണ്ടും സ്വസ്ഥമായിരിക്ക; യഹോവ നിനക്കു ഉപകാരം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

7. Turn back, O my soul, to thy rest, For Jehovah hath conferred benefits on thee.

8. നീ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ മരണത്തില്നിന്നും എന്റെ കണ്ണിനെ കണ്ണുനീരില്നിന്നും എന്റെ കാലിനെ വീഴ്ചയില്നിന്നും രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

8. For Thou hast delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears, my feet from overthrowing.

9. ഞാന് ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നടക്കും.

9. I walk habitually before Jehovah In the lands of the living.

10. ഞാന് വലിയ കഷ്ടതയില് ആയി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള് ഞാന് വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

10. I have believed, for I speak, I -- I have been afflicted greatly.

11. സകലമനുഷ്യരും ഭോഷകു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ഞാന് എന്റെ പരിഭ്രമത്തില് പറഞ്ഞു.

11. I said in my haste, 'Every man [is] a liar.'

12. യഹോവ എനിക്കു ചെയ്ത സകലഉപകാരങ്ങള്ക്കും ഞാന് അവന്നു എന്തു പകരം കൊടുക്കും?

12. What do I return to Jehovah? All His benefits [are] upon me.

13. ഞാന് രക്ഷയുടെ പാനപാത്രം എടുത്തു യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും.

13. The cup of salvation I lift up, And in the name of Jehovah I call.

14. യഹോവേക്കു ഞാന് എന്റെ നേര്ച്ചകളെ അവന്റെ സകലജനവും കാണ്കെ കഴിക്കും.

14. My vows to Jehovah let me complete, I pray you, before all His people.

15. തന്റെ ഭക്തന്മാരുടെ മരണം യഹോവേക്കു വിലയേറിയതാകുന്നു.

15. Precious in the eyes of Jehovah [is] the death for His saints.

16. യഹോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്റെ ദാസന് ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ ദാസനും നിന്റെ ദാസിയുടെ മകനും തന്നേ; നീ എന്റെ ബന്ധനങ്ങളെ അഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

16. Cause [it] to come, O Jehovah, for I [am] Thy servant. I [am] Thy servant, son of Thy handmaid, Thou hast opened my bonds.

17. ഞാന് നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രയാഗം കഴിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും.

17. To Thee I sacrifice a sacrifice of thanks, And in the name of Jehovah I call.

18. യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളിലും യെരൂശലേമേ, നിന്റെ നടുവിലും

18. My vows to Jehovah let me complete, I pray you, before all His people,

19. ഞാന് യഹോവേക്കു എന്റെ നേര്ച്ചകളെ അവന്റെ സകലജനവും കാണ്കെ കഴിക്കും. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് .

19. In the courts of the house of Jehovah, In thy midst, O Jerusalem, praise ye Jah!
