1. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് ; എന് മനമേ, യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്ക.

1. Praise you the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

2. ജീവനുള്ളന്നും ഞാന് യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കും; ഞാന് ഉള്ള കാലത്തോളം എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു കീര്ത്തനം ചെയ്യും.

2. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises to my God while I have any being.

3. നിങ്ങള് പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരില് ആശ്രയിക്കരുതു, സഹായിപ്പാന് കഴിയാത്ത മനുഷ്യപുത്രനിലും അരുതു.

3. Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

4. അവന്റെ ശ്വാസം പോകുന്നു; അവന് മണ്ണിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്നു; അന്നു തന്നേ അവന്റെ നിരൂപണങ്ങള് നശിക്കുന്നു.

5. Happy is he that has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

6. Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keeps truth for ever:

7. പീഡിതന്മാര്ക്കും അവന് ന്യായം പാലിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നു; വിശപ്പുള്ളവര്ക്കും അവന് ആഹാരം നലകുന്നു; യഹോവ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ അഴിച്ചു വിടുന്നു.

7. Which executes judgment for the oppressed: which gives food to the hungry. The LORD looses the prisoners:

8. യഹോവ കുരുടന്മാര്ക്കും കാഴ്ച കൊടുക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ കുനിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവരെ നിവിര്ത്തുന്നു; യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

8. The LORD opens the eyes of the blind: the LORD raises them that are bowed down: the LORD loves the righteous:

9. യഹോവ പരദേശികളെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു; അവന് അനാഥനെയും വിധവയെയും സംരക്ഷണ ചെയ്യുന്നു; എന്നാല് ദുഷ്ന്മാരുടെ വഴി അവന് മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.

9. The LORD preserves the strangers; he relieves the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.

10. യഹോവ എന്നേക്കും വാഴും; സീയോനേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവം തലമുറതലമുറയോളം തന്നേ.

10. The LORD shall reign for ever, even your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise you the LORD.
