1. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് . യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് ; സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് ; ഉന്നതങ്ങളില് അവനെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് .

1. Prayse ye the Lorde, prayse ye God out of heauen: prayse ye hym on hygh aboue.

2. അവന്റെ സകലദൂതന്മാരുമായുള്ളോരേ, അവനെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് ; അവന്റെ സര്വ്വസൈന്യവുമേ, അവനെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് ;

2. Prayse hym all ye his angels: prayse hym all ye his hoast.

3. സൂര്യചന്ദ്രന്മാരേ, അവനെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് ; പ്രകാശമുള്ള സകലനക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുമായുള്ളോവേ, അവനെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് .

3. Prayse ye hym sunne and moone: praise hym all ye starres [that geue] lyght.

4. സ്വര്ഗ്ഗാധിസ്വര്ഗ്ഗവും ആകാശത്തിന്നു മീതെയുള്ള വെള്ളവും ആയുള്ളോവേ, അവനെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് .

4. Prayse ye hym all ye heauens: and ye waters that be aboue the heauens.

5. അവന് കല്പിച്ചിട്ടു അവ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കയാല് അവ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ.

5. Euen they shoulde prayse the name of God: for he commaunded, and they were created.

6. അവന് അവയെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും സ്ഥിരമാക്കി; ലംഘിക്കരുതാത്ത ഒരു നിയമം വെച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. He hath set them sure for euer and euer: he hath geuen them a lawe which shall not be broken.

7. തിമിംഗലങ്ങളും എല്ലാ ആഴികളുമായുള്ളോവേ, ഭൂമിയില്നിന്നു യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് .

7. Prayse ye God from the earth: ye dragons and all deepes.

8. തീയും കല്മഴയും ഹിമവും ആവിയും, അവന്റെ വചനം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്ന കൊടുങ്കാറ്റും,

8. Fire and hayle, snowe and vapours: stormie wynde fulfyllyng his worde.

9. പര്വ്വതങ്ങളും സകലകുന്നുകളും, ഫലവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും സകലദേവദാരുക്കളും,

9. Mountaynes and all hylles: fruitfull trees and all Cedars.

10. മൃഗങ്ങളും സകലകന്നുകാലികളും, ഇഴജന്തുക്കളും പറവജാതികളും,

10. Beastes and all cattell: wormes and fethered foules.

11. ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാരും സകലവംശങ്ങളും, ഭൂമിയിലെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും സകലന്യായാധിപന്മാരും,

11. Kynges of the earth and all people: princes and all iudges of the earth.

12. യുവാക്കളും യുവതികളും, വൃദ്ധന്മാരും ബാലന്മാരും,

12. Young men and maydens, olde men with children,

13. ഇവരൊക്കയും യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ; അവന്റെ നാമം മാത്രം ഉയര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു. അവന്റെ മഹത്വം ഭൂമിക്കും ആകാശത്തിന്നും മേലായിരിക്കുന്നു.

13. (148:12) shoulde prayse the name of God: for his name only is most excellent, and his maiestie aboue earth and heauen.

14. തന്നോടു അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ജനമായി യിസ്രായേല്മക്കളായ തന്റെ സകലഭക്തന്മാര്ക്കും പുകഴ്ചയായി അവന് സ്വജനത്തിന്നു ഒരു കൊമ്പിനെ ഉയര്ത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

14. (148:13) He hath exalted the horne of his people: the prayse of all his saintes, euen of the children of Israel, a people that is most nye vnto him. Prayse ye the Lord.
