1. യഹോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പാറയായുള്ളോവേ, നീ കേള്ക്കാതിരിക്കരുതേ; നീ മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നിട്ടു ഞാന് കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ആകാതിരിപ്പാന് തന്നേ.

1. A psalm of David. Lord, my Rock, I call out to you. Pay attention to me. If you remain silent, I will die. I will be like those who have gone down into the grave.

2. ഞാന് എന്റെ കൈകളെ വിശുദ്ധാന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരത്തിങ്കലേക്കുയര്ത്തി നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുമ്പോള് എന്റെ യാചനകളുടെ ശബ്ദം കേള്ക്കേണമേ.

2. Hear my cry for your favor when I call out to you for help. Hear me when I lift up my hands in prayer toward your Most Holy Room.

3. ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോടും അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവരോടും കൂടെ എന്നെ വലിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകരുതേ; അവര് കൂട്ടുകാരോടു സമാധാനം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ദുഷ്ടത ഉണ്ടു.

3. Don't drag me away with sinners. Don't drag me away with those who do evil. They speak in a friendly way to their neighbors. But their hearts are full of hatred.

4. അവരുടെ ക്രിയെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവും പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ദുഷ്ടതെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവും അവര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കേണമേ; അവരുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിപോലെ അവരോടു ചെയ്യേണമേ; അവര്ക്കും തക്കതായ പ്രതിഫലം കൊടുക്കേണമേ;

4. Pay them back for their evil actions. Pay them back for what their hands have done. Give them exactly what they should get.

5. യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെയും അവന്റെ കൈവേലയെയും അവര് വിവേചിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവന് അവരെ പണിയാതെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയും.

5. They don't care about the Lord's mighty acts. They don't care about what his hands have done. So he will tear them down. He will never build them up again.

6. യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവനാകട്ടെ; അവന് എന്റെ യാചനകളുടെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. Give praise to the Lord. He has heard my cry for his favor.

7. യഹോവ എന്റെ ബലവും എന്റെ പരിചയും ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം അവങ്കല് ആശ്രയിച്ചു; എനിക്കു സഹായവും ലഭിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നു; പാട്ടോടെ ഞാന് അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു.

7. The Lord gives me strength. He is like a shield that keeps me safe. My heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart jumps for joy. I will sing and give thanks to him.

8. യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ബലമാകുന്നു; തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നു അവന് രക്ഷാദുര്ഗ്ഗം തന്നേ.

8. The Lord gives strength to his people. He guards and saves his anointed king.

9. നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ രക്ഷിച്ചു നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ; അവരെ മേയിച്ചു എന്നേക്കും അവരെ വഹിക്കേണമേ.

9. Save your people. Bless those who belong to you. Be their shepherd. Take care of them forever.
