1. യഹോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പാറയായുള്ളോവേ, നീ കേള്ക്കാതിരിക്കരുതേ; നീ മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നിട്ടു ഞാന് കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ആകാതിരിപ്പാന് തന്നേ.

1. {A Psalm} of David. To thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, {if} thou shouldst be silent to me, I should become like them that go down into the pit.

2. ഞാന് എന്റെ കൈകളെ വിശുദ്ധാന്തര്മ്മന്ദിരത്തിങ്കലേക്കുയര്ത്തി നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുമ്പോള് എന്റെ യാചനകളുടെ ശബ്ദം കേള്ക്കേണമേ.

2. Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry to thee, when I lift my hands towards thy holy oracle.

3. ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോടും അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നവരോടും കൂടെ എന്നെ വലിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകരുതേ; അവര് കൂട്ടുകാരോടു സമാധാനം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തില് ദുഷ്ടത ഉണ്ടു.

3. Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace to their neighbors, but mischief {is} in their hearts.

4. അവരുടെ ക്രിയെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവും പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ദുഷ്ടതെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവും അവര്ക്കും കൊടുക്കേണമേ; അവരുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിപോലെ അവരോടു ചെയ്യേണമേ; അവര്ക്കും തക്കതായ പ്രതിഫലം കൊടുക്കേണമേ;

4. Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

5. യഹോവയുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെയും അവന്റെ കൈവേലയെയും അവര് വിവേചിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവന് അവരെ പണിയാതെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയും.

5. Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he will destroy them, and not build them up.

6. യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവനാകട്ടെ; അവന് എന്റെ യാചനകളുടെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

6. Blessed {be} the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

7. യഹോവ എന്റെ ബലവും എന്റെ പരിചയും ആകുന്നു; എന്റെ ഹൃദയം അവങ്കല് ആശ്രയിച്ചു; എനിക്കു സഹായവും ലഭിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഉല്ലസിക്കുന്നു; പാട്ടോടെ ഞാന് അവനെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു.

7. The LORD {is} my strength, and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

8. യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ബലമാകുന്നു; തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നു അവന് രക്ഷാദുര്ഗ്ഗം തന്നേ.

8. The LORD {is} their strength, and he {is} the saving strength of his anointed.

9. നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ രക്ഷിച്ചു നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ; അവരെ മേയിച്ചു എന്നേക്കും അവരെ വഹിക്കേണമേ.

9. Save thy people, and bless thy inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
