1. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ വൈരികള് എത്ര പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു! എന്നോടു എതിര്ക്കുംന്നവര് അനേകര് ആകുന്നു.

1. Why are they so many (o LORDE) yt trouble me? a greate multitude are they, that ryse agaynst me.

2. അവന്നു ദൈവത്തിങ്കല് രക്ഷയില്ല എന്നു എന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു പലരും പറയുന്നു. സേലാ.

2. Yee many one there be that saye off my soule: there is no helpe for him in God.

3. നീയോ യഹോവേ, എനിക്കു ചുറ്റും പരിചയും എന്റെ മഹത്വവും എന്റെ തല ഉയര്ത്തുന്നവനും ആകുന്നു.

3. Sela But thou (o LORDE) art my defender, my worshipe, ad the lifter vp of my heade.

4. ഞാന് യഹോവയോടു ഉച്ചത്തില് നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; അവന് തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപര്വ്വതത്തില്നിന്നു ഉത്തരം അരുളുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. സേലാ.

4. I call vpon the LORDE with my voyce, and he heareth me out of his holy hill.

5. ഞാന് കിടന്നുറങ്ങി; യഹോവ എന്നെ താങ്ങുകയാല് ഉണര്ന്നുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

5. Sela I layed me downe and slepte, but I rose vp agayne, for the LORDE susteyned me.

6. എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി ചുറ്റും പാളയമിറങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്ന ആയിരം ആയിരം ജനങ്ങളെ ഞാന് ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല.

6. I am not afrayed for thousandes of the people, that copasse me rounde aboute.

7. യഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേല്ക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ. നീ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ഒക്കെയും ചെകിട്ടത്തടിച്ചു; നീ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ പല്ലു തകര്ത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.

7. Vp LORDE, and helpe me, o my God: for thou smytest all myne enemies vpon the cheke bones, and breakest the teth of the vngodly.

8. രക്ഷ യഹോവെക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്മേല് വരുമാറാകട്ടെ. സേലാ.

8. Helpe belongeth vnto the LORDE, therfore let thy blessynge be vpon thy people.
