1. ദൈവമേ, സീയോനില് സ്തുതി നിനക്കു യോഗ്യം; നിനക്കു തന്നേ നേര്ച്ച കഴിക്കുന്നു.

1. TO THE CHOIRMASTER. A PSALM OF DAVID. A SONG. Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion, and to you shall vows be performed.

2. പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കുന്നവനായുള്ളോവേ, സകലജഡവും നിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കു വരുന്നു.

2. O you who hears prayer, to you shall all flesh come.

3. എന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങള് എന്റെ നേരെ അതിബലമായിരിക്കുന്നു; നീയോ ഞങ്ങളുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങള്ക്കു പരിഹാരം വരുത്തും.

3. When iniquities prevail against me, you atone for our transgressions.

4. നിന്റെ പ്രാകാരങ്ങളില് പാര്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു അടുപ്പിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് ; ഞങ്ങള് നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരമായ നിന്റെ ആലയത്തിലെ നന്മകൊണ്ടു തൃപ്തന്മാരാകും.

4. Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple!

5. ഭൂമിയുടെ എല്ലാഅറുതികള്ക്കും ദൂരത്തുള്ള സമുദ്രത്തിന്നും ആശ്രയമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷയാം ദൈവമേ, നീ ഭയങ്കരകാര്യങ്ങളാല് നീതിയോടെ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളുന്നു.

5. By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas;

6. അവന് ബലം അരെക്കു കെട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു തന്റെ ശക്തിയാല് പര്വ്വതങ്ങളെ ഉറപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

6. the one who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with might;

7. അവന് സമുദ്രങ്ങളുടെ മുഴക്കവും തിരമാലകളുടെ കോപവും ജാതികളുടെ കലഹവും ശമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

7. who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples,

8. ഭൂസീമാവാസികളും നിന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങള് നിമിത്തം ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു; ഉദയത്തിന്റെയും അസ്തമനത്തിന്റെയും ദിക്കുകളെ നീ ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.

8. so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.

9. നീ ഭൂമിയെ സന്ദര്ശിച്ചു നനെക്കുന്നു; നീ അതിനെ അത്യന്തം പുഷ്ടിയുള്ളതാക്കുന്നു; ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നദിയില് വെള്ളം നിറെഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ നീ ഭൂമിയെ ഒരുക്കി അവര്ക്കും ധാന്യം കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

9. You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it.

10. നീ അതിന്റെ ഉഴവുചാലുകളെ നനെക്കുന്നു; നീ അതിന്റെ കട്ട ഉടെച്ചുനിരത്തുന്നു; മഴയാല് നീ അതിനെ കുതിര്ക്കുംന്നു; അതിലെ മുളയെ നീ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

10. You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth.

11. നീ സംവത്സരത്തെ നിന്റെ നന്മകൊണ്ടു അലങ്കരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ പാതകള് പുഷ്ടിപൊഴിക്കുന്നു.

11. You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.

12. മരുഭൂമിയിലെ പുല്പുറങ്ങള് പുഷ്ടിപൊഴിക്കുന്നു; കുന്നുകള് ഉല്ലാസം ധരിക്കുന്നു.

12. The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy,

13. മേച്ചല്പുറങ്ങള് ആട്ടിന് കൂട്ടങ്ങള്കൊണ്ടു നിറെഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; താഴ്വരകള് ധാന്യംകൊണ്ടു മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് ആര്ക്കുംകയും പാടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. (സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; ഒരു ഗീതം; ഒരു സങ്കീര്ത്തനം.)

13. the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy.
